Kobojunkie:and and these tolls they are pointing to the congestion charge zone have Alternative routes, in the case of the congestion zone there are time limits i think after 7pm and weekend is free Alternative, these our own na by fire by force!!! |
My opinion.bloody hell that person has not been born then, with those hefty loudspeakers, 8 churches on each street kia i doubt it!! |
some people say socialist like its a disease!! its so easy to pull figures out online without taking of the earning or spending capacity of people in those countries-mind you its not so easy to pull figures of these educated government as everything is hush hush- Capitalist UK, USA, etc provide schools, free healthcare from tax collection simple logic empower your citizen to be economically relevant then they will be educated enough to start a business-pay tax, get employment to earn enough to pay tax, there's a big difference between people refusing to pay tax and youve be inefficient in your tax collections!! and some people cant pay tax they have no job the govt should stop accusing people of avoiding tax because govt have not been effective enough in providing jobs for them to earn duhhh poverty at over 75% yet your screaming someone is not paying tax ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Just spoke to a friend who claimed she spent FIVE HOURS on that road The government/Concessionaires have not deemed it fit to provide an alternative or exit roads?!??!so people just stay put in one place no option except you want to do a U turn facing oncoming vehicle I'm sure the comfy elites who have been turning the noses up all this while will have a lot to say now, except theyve been using helicopter to work |
so is this a failure on the part of the company LCC or the state government? |
Am amazed that my much respected Governor Tunde Fashola has not said anything about this 'Slaving' LCC & its collaborator want to put this community into for 30 years. A quick check on the community in question will reveal the following: * No primary or Secondary Health Care System. * No Public Secondary School * Apart from the Lekki-Epe Express road, you need a 4 wheel Drive to navigate the swampy inlets. All the development on that axis are privately motivated. Lekki-Epe Expressway is the only link road in & out of these communities. This two lane dual carriage road was built a about 27 years ago by a civilian administration link this one. Why on earth will somebody wakes up one day and award a contract to add just one lane and toll the road a a 30 years period. This is highly unacceptable. The Respectable Governor Tunday Fashola need to explain to us what our taxes are used for! All the over N17.5Billion monthly tax that accrue to the state! We appreciate the great works the Governor has been doing. This particular issue has to be addressed otherwise it portends doom for this administration. My take is that the Government take drastic steps to address this. The total amount contract amount should be amortized and paid by the government over the period of 30 years from the taxes that accrues to the state. Otherwise it will lead to multiple taxation on the side of the dedicated tax payers that live around that axis. A 30 years Tolling means that Three Generations from my linage will be subjected to this. That is to say each individual from my linage (3 generations) will each pay about N19,000,000.00 for tolls in addition to the regular taxes paid to the state government, Please Governor Babatunde Fashola, rise up to this challenge and save this situation before it deteriorates.comment from 234next |
babapupa:Babapupa, what happened to the 'alternative' route why is that suddenly being tolled as against the earlier announcement/agreement? How much will they be charging? When is the Take off? Government is not forthcoming with answers, the Company is not giving answers- this is supposed to be the 'most' enlightened state in the land ![]() |
Perhaps they are immigrants I'm still wonder why this private company has not been open enough with Lagos resident, there still appear to be alot of question concerning this PPP the the price, the take off date, the alternative route For a world class company, one would expect them to be very open with their operation and minimise all opposition so they can at least be accepted if/when they decide to go to a new partnership in Lagos. they have instead used the government and money to bulldozed a lot of people out of the way-hurray! |
deb:pure sentiments being an ex player is not enough qualification to manage the affair of a football organisation, though it helps; he needs to come harder than that, the only thing he seems to be selling at the moment is his 'ex-player' badge Obaseki spent 11.5 million on I.T when is was boss at NPL yet we don't have functioning website or communication outlet with the 'fans' and sponsors in fact we get news from foreign websites about NPL |
processing your tuition free visa will be a lot of hassle you have to run around looking for someone to lend you money to meet up with the cash requirement and then ticket to the country You should consider the cost of living for the duration of your course, the chances of getting a job that will sustain you for this duration is very little without affecting your studies, you should also consider the increasing competition for jobs from immigrants and students already living in these countries Chances are you will have to resort to illegal activities if you don't meet up with the cost of living and the probability of you being caught, disgraced and deported is extremely high BUT if you have your parent that can send you upto 4800 every month, then you are good to go |
funkybaby:Cant wait!! |
How unfair of Omo Alata, not to gist us with feedback others might be planning something similar!! What/where did you enjoy, what/where did you discover, What/where to Avoid |
Why are threads like these so 'empty' ? come on people!!! Lagos is supposed to the happening place in nigeria?!?!?! |
Probably not To claim home student status you must have resided in the country for a minimum of 3 years or thereabouts. If you don't qualify for home status you cant qualify for student loan except for another company. |
^^ so you mean the higher they charge the better the result or quality of work? ![]() |
911 molue cant be removed if strict M.O.T laws are enforced, cos most of them wont pass emission or even mechanical test perhaps that one of the main areas Fashola gets his supports you know the NURTW guys are quite disruptive and powerful so he might not want to ruffle the nest ![]() You'd think for a state going clean and green, looking to descongest its road, and reduce road accidents, Strict road-worthiness test will be enforced on all vehicles and updated insurance certificate will be required to drive on teh road but. . . . |
yes theres huge traffic now read 234next if you can, it seems there are no minor feeder roads everyone is just staying put!?!? |
Protesters have blocked the Lekki-Epe Expressway causing a traffic snarl on the road. The protesters bearing placards with slogans such as “No Tolling, no fencing” are against the toll gate on the road. The protest is taking place in front of Ecobank, GTBank and 1st Bank just beside Chevron roundabout and it has left workers heading from Ajah to Victoria Island stuck.234Next video Big trouble today!! |
It's not in Lekki so what's the big deal ![]() |
parts of the world are working hard to earn the green passportmarrying a nigerian citizen or being born in Nigeria is not exactly working hard is it? Out of the 82, 38 were granted citizenship by naturalisation while the remaining 44 received citizenship by registration. |

niversity sector so that schools can single-handedly raise funds for their projects. Why do these buggers always repeat the same thing, all those monies raised from alumni, foreign bodies are what? Though he admitted it would mean an increase in tuition fees, he said that many Nigerian families were already paying large amounts to send their children abroad. How many is many this mumu is talking about, when students in nigeria are protesting high fees |
Why cant they just employ him as a coach, the govt should be sued for manslaughter if this man kpai inside ring o I wonder why they still gave him license to Box at his old age |
bawomolo:violent response? I thought they protested in front of the gate or office> how violent do you get ( I watched it on NTA) Heard this is now Rampant with many MOUNTAIN OF FIRE MINISTRIES FOLLOWERS they don't talk to Muslims in the office Demon-stration-of-crase |
dayokanu:the Oga wants proof they have done their sacrifice/oath taken so they use modern tech instead of looking through a calabash |
^^ he's a washed up striker/winger anyway, his popularity and English will get better though |
I pity those Muslims that come in contact with her when she (if she ever does) become a Judge What a sad psycho! The other law students who probably have their holiday planned will be very happy to have the exams postponed! |
WAFU still exists? There i was thinking Kwara UTd will atleast get some rest and Concentrate fully on the league and most importantly save money before the government change hands--- with these clubs you never know what might happen the considering the way clubs are funded- see Bayelsea UTD |
