Actually the Ivory coast FA just did what i expected NFF to do. Otherwise they shoulda just allowed Amodu to go and complete his nonsense in SA. Russia have no engagements b4 his contract runs out, and CIV need their man. Cool bargain with the expected results.
the NFF cant buy out his contract, they are not that rich and influential as we think!
the Russians wil rather let him go for free without compensation to a serious team like CIV
than collect money in bits and piece to the NFF that cant organise a simple friendly game!!

Why don't the black people in the UK create their own thing (proper thing) isntead of whining in the ear of a white corporation, or can white people not have their own BET? grin
well they will also complain of not getting enough revenue from white companies and black companies advertising with them always ask for a discount or credit cheesy

9% from the 2001 census are Blacks and ethnic minorities. The number has risen from unofficial figures. Yet the percentage of blacks and ethnic minorities on prime time BBC programme is less than 1%.
and what percentage of those go on to university?
What percentage of those that go into university go for 'presenting' courses

the BBC cant force people on to their screens you know
the BBC has a lot of ethnic minorities behind the cameras, just because we don't see them in front of the camera
we cant conclude they are being racist, it will take a lot of time and investment before they come through!
there's a black international reporter that's usually presenting new 24 and there's a nigerian too
by the time those guys making cameo appearance gather enough experience other companies would snap them up
making it look as if they are more diverse than the beeb

The North are toeing the line of the british, the british never had any good intentions for Nigeria, the earlier the north realises that and changemits ways the better the country will be for everybody we will not fold our arms and watch dem treat us like slaves. enough is enough. This brings to mind harold smith`s confession on the british agenad for nigeria. The north cannot hold the rest of the country hostage we will move ahead without them peaceful or otherwise. Can somebody please post harols smith confession on nairaland.?
You've done that for years mate and you will continue to do that grin

never mind you can console yourself with all the Phds in the world (atleast you can oppress your fellow southerners with that) whilst the cattle herders as many call them tell you who will govern you next

its somehow funny hearing Bank workers asking sentimental questions- these are people one would ordinarily
expect to know how business operate!!

Where do they expect us to go now? why are they doing this?

Duhhh You work in a company where the bosses are cooking figures wasting money on advert looking fine instead of investing in you the workers

like someone said several times on the business thread: in nigeria the workers just collect salary, b'oga ta abi oga o ta, komose sha ti gba owo!! profit or not profit the workers just want to collect money- they dont give a toss whats happening to the company!!

what happened to the analyst that was sacked when he said access shares was worthless 2 years ago?

Pray you get something sustainable soon
Politics › Re: Confusion In Aso Rock: Who Is In Charge? by DisGuy: 12:21pm On Feb 25, 2010
Over 16 hours after the President's alleged return, not even the Acting President, Goodluck Jonathan, had set eyes on him. As at press time yesterday, Jonathan was reported to be making efforts to see Yar'Adua's wife Turai, as part of the process of seeing his boss.

In fact, the weekly Federal Executive (FEC) meeting was cancelled yesterday, purportedly at the instance of the Acting President, obviously because of the non-appearance of President Yar'Adua to chair the meeting.
this Jonathan guy will go down in history as the most spinless politician the country ever had!! what stupid effort was he making trying to see Turai or even Yaradua? why is he bothering himself after the disrespect to millions of Nigerian and to him in particular over the past three months!!

Why is he cancelling or postponing FEC meeting if the ship is still on course? is he not part of the team?

Its one thing to be a gentleman is another to be a Grown up maga

If most African cities' hotels are as overpriced-with-no value as the ones we have in Lagos or Abuja, that might be a reason. You'd get a lot more bang for your buck spending that kind of money on accommodation in the world's finest cities
True, in some cases you have to beg the bloody hotel managers to put the damn generator on

I saw an advert on nairaland for a trip to 10day trip to Ghana for N125,000

a colleague spent £499 for a 2 weeks holiday in Egypt at a 4* Hotel, flights, Scuba diving lessons, and many more included with meals

You really have to question the motive of people going to these low fees colleges- do they really want to study or just work in the UK

under normal circumstance people wont go there, these colleges are springing up mainly to lure international student from Pakistan, Indian, Malaysia etc

I would think so too. Sanusi is too radical for the arch position he holds, we need a liberal minded person. What is the essence of clean up duty in the first place if its outcome negates a matching economy. I would think we need a moving economy more than a transparent one . . .
Logic shocked

Nigerians should get serious!!

We cant afford these coaches we keep banging on about foreign experienced coach as if we can win the world cup
Lets be honest there are better FAs to work with than nigeria and anyone coming to work here is only coming for the money!!

considering they havent been paid for months in their clubs!!

Amodu still has more links to the nation team than their club coach!!

And find attached as well, a shocking picture of Fajuyi Park in Ado-Ekiti. I must definitely get down there sometime soon! Just a four hour drive from Lagos.
I saw this on TV once, not too impressed it was basically a big roundabout/Junction with an empty museum
It would have been better if it had big trees shielding it from the two main roads either side of it to reduce the noise
and exposure- it will be good for those residing in the state though nothing worth travelling for except they have other things to offer in the state

Why nigeria can't do this!
Because this is political, they are not just doing it for the sake of it

why should nigeria do it? How can you ban countries giving you millions in loans and trade
just because the son of a politician was arrested or just to show you have some 'power'

Where do you get your info from? kickoff has not been updated, and the http://www.nigeriapremierleague.com/index.php is not updated too!!

this is something i find weird with nigeria media, they keep blasting amodu for not taking any home-based player, but you hardly find any news about nigerian league in these newspapers
