Tuttosport has today released the XVII edition of the Golden Boy which will see the winners receive the award on Monday 16 December in Turin, on the Gala evening with over 200 guests at the Ogres.

Director Xavier Jacobelli announced that The Golden Boy was won by striker Joao Felix of the Atletico Madrid. The Portuguese starlet received 332 votes, defeating the English Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund (175) and the German Kai Havertz of Bayer Leverkusen (75). In fact, 25 out of 40 voters chose Felix in the first place.

It happened that one time she told me she was to travel to Asaba to meet her family members,on hearing this I was happy and looked forward to talking to them
After spending the night at my place I put her in a bus to Asaba , she didn't pick my calls till the next day.
The next day she posted an outing pic of herself in an eatery I didn't see it as anything but it's the next one that broke me
A guy took a picture of her with her phone while backing a glass door so I could take that he wore a blue shirt I called that day and when I asked playfully to talk to the family members she asked me "what kind of talk is that ?"

Not long from then I got tagged in a picture on her wall on Facebook,low and behold it was a selfie of her and the Medical doctor in blue shirt and the caption "I love you forever, my personal person" someone she said I shouldn't worry about but he is asking her out ,that she knew months before meeting me. She was supposed to be away for 2 days and ended up coming back after a week
On seeing this I called to demand for an explanation if they were related, she sighed cut the phone on me and didn't pick my calls ever again

She left me for a Medical Doctor

One month later now she calls me out of the blue to ask for 2k to buy foodstuffs. Which I gave without saying a word
Fast forward to today I got a job with the government and relocated to Abuja.
She called me later shedding crocodile tears and begging for me back
People of Nairaland what would you have me do? What will you do if you were in my shoes? It's not my fault she didn't see the bigger picture.

She isn't the first woman that has left me for a better person

I don't know what I would do but I know two things I wouldn't do if this happened to me: I wouldn't take her back and I wouldn't open a thread asking Nairalanders what to do.

I dont have to check to know this is overpriced. For heaven's sake, I am sure you have used this for nothing less than 5 years. Why sell an item that you have enjoyed for an exorbitant price? Dont ask me to check price of new as if I dont know that the price of electronics has sky rocketted over these few years. Thus, if you bought this for 10 naira, it will be 15naira in the market. The present price of an item should not be a yardstick for you fixing price your used items.

I got married 4 months before I turned 29. I know about 3 other guys that got married at 28 and their marriages are still intact. Ironically, all 4 of us are with wives that are just months younger than us so we are probably mature for our age.The truth is there's no hard and fast rule to this thing. The perfect time for a man to get married varies from person to person. In my case, I didn't just stumble on it. Right from when I was 18, I already knew I wanted to be married before 30 and planned towards it financially and otherwise. Also, one other factor was my wife's age. I felt if I chose to wait till 30/31 she will be that age too and we all know childbearing experience for a woman in her 30s is generally tougher than for a woman in her 20s. By the time she's having the 2nd and maybe 3rd child she could be nearing her mid to late 30s.

I know a study that says the closer in age a couple is, the longer their marriages will last. Although, I don't really dwell on such cos there so many things to consider when it comes to such statistical studies.
