RomanceRe: Share Your Heartbreak Story Here by djoe21(m): 11:09am On Nov 02, 2019
exactly what happened to me. Where I regret the most was I never fvcked her. I dated this girl while I was still in 200l uniben back then 2012. I invested my money, time and energy to see that everything worked fine. I also promise to marry her not knowing I was building my castle in the air. After wasting 6years of relationship, the next thing I got last two weeks was a whatsapp message and I quote " I know I have really offended you but you need someone better than me". " don't bother about me and take care of yourself ". that's the message I got from her. Thank God I have already a good job in a multi national company that always keep me busy.. I would have committed suicide. It's all for good sha..
thank God she left while things are working out for good.. I was deceived by love and the the girls name is LOVETH. Loveth will never know peace in her marriage and life endeavors. I keep having negative thoughts about her and she will meet her match on a good day. I never bleeped her all in the name of keeping myself till marriage. May God will surely punish her. I used a whole lot of money just to please her, yet she dumped me. As am writing this now, Loveth will have a bad marriage and family.. so shall it be IN JESUS NAME. AMEN
Guy you are funny. Abeg calm down with the curses, they are not necessary.

Wacko Jacko, the greatest artiste ever. He was also the greatest dancer ever. After the death of Elvis Presley, there was a kind of vacuum in the music industry. This genius seized hold of events and reinforced the notion that fortune is for grabs. Time Magazine would later describe him as one man team that saved music.
Sometime after his passing, Sony Music signed the biggest record deal with his estate-250 million USD.

I’m sure all these points raised were taken into consideration before the border closure. Bubu is not going to open that border.

That was how UK messed up and said no work experience after attending their university. Nigerians started relocating to other countries. Now they are begging us to come back by quickly amending their constitution to allow for twice the duration for work experience.
Are you serious? Are they now allowing post study visa?

I have read all the comments from first page to this one here and all I see is my parents say this and that. This is modern age and so many things has change yet some people still take it upon themselves to still leave in the past. How can your parents decide who a grown up woman or man should marry? All tribes have wicked people for sure and no tribe is excluded from bad behaviours. Your experienced with people you meet should determine who you marry not your parents or someone else. That person who is good to your parent is worst to another person in the same clan and conditions. What is racism if not what I just read all through these comments. Hmmmm
Bro you are right. There was a particular comment that made me speechless based on its level of 'my parents....' But then, it could just be an indicator of the age of the commenters on this topic.

Tribe has an impact on behaviour, to be honest

What somebody's culture teaches them to do has an impact on their behaviour but its just that there are other factors like education, environment, religion, individual personality, parentage, upbringing, financial status etc that offset the impact of cultural background

There must be some basis for stereotypes even if we dont really like them. To an extent its good to discuss them so we can see how others regard us

Its a good intention but its naive and somewhat disingenuous to say that it doesnt matter where somebody comes from, because we all know that it does
Very true.

to some extent, l have observed from many over the years, intra tribal marriage are more successful, the level of synergy is second to none, ur wife is more like a sister, ur kids are at advantage because they will hear and speak ur native language, is a form of cultural preservation. l will not have kids that are lost and confused lol, that's my own point of view Sha. my will l marry a woman only to come and be speaking English with her? English is for white man a borrowed culture
You have said it all, it's your point of view. I can't argue with you on that.

l can't imagine my self marrying from any other tribe. my mom and dad never had any serious marital issues in good times and in bad times. they are both from the same tribe, that is the secret to happiness and peace of mind if both parties are understanding. Soo l can only marry from my tribe, l'm currently engaged we are both from the same Village God will always give us our heart desires if be seek Him diligently
If I understand you correctly, you are saying the secret to a successful marriage is marrying from the same tribe?

You are very correct . I am from Imo state but I will never marry a lady from my state. Imo ladies have made themselves fit only to cure sexual urge. My Mom is from Anambra and she is a typical representative of a virtuous woman. Enugu state is a good state to marry too.
Your mom is the virtuous woman while mothers and women from Imo State are promiscuous. How fitting. You try well well. Continue. undecided

I don't know what she sees in me because honestly I'm not a good person but I have a calm personality.

She told me initially when she started developing feelings for me that she's had one abortion for her ex, I guess she was testing waters before the bombshell. I forgave her instantly because I did not ask and I am also guilty of endorsing abortion with my previous relationships.

She surprisingly volunteers information willingly which I never seen in a girl.

In my head, I know her body count is small compared to mine but I don't know why I'm still pained.

I've asked her if she regrets it and is willing to change with or without me and she replied in affirmation. However, I'll give it time and watch things unfold.
If this is the only issue you have with her, then you no get problem.

You feel pained because you are a guy. We always feel we can have as many body count as we like while ladies should remain virgins. That's why you see guys using the 'master key' analogy (rubbish by the way).

Well, what I have to tell you is not to be judgemental otherwise, you will discourage her honesty with you or the next person she will be in relationship with if you decide to break up with her.

If you decide to continue with her, you must forgive and let go, and never bring such issues (her past) up when you have misunderstanding.

Brother, nobody holy pass. Let LOVE lead!

In my JS1 then I was fond of sleeping in the church, I was so known for that, that usher's no longer wake me. On a certain Friday, I couldn't tell who invited my crush for a night vigil in other to please her by not sleeping: I decided I wouldn't sit through out the prayer session. Then the worst happened, I fell while sleep standing and disrupted the night vigil. It's more than 10 years now, I haven't visited that church.

When I use to worship at winners chapel we had a tarry night program one Friday. As Satan want ham my mom decided to cook beans dat same Friday. My dad was the pastor nd I was just in the congregation cos I didn't join the choir as I didn't go 4 rehearsals. I wasn't even allowed to play any instrument. The first girl I loved came back from her boarding school nd she was in the choir sit. As una sabi tarry night, I slept off only to wake up to hear myself mess one powerful mess. The whole section of the church fixed their eyes on Mr including my crush. I was so ashamed that I had to climb up to go nd sleep. Throughout that week I had to dodge the girl because of shame.

Embarrassing moment was when I was persuaded to join choir. Well I join choir due to persuasion of the sisters that they need a brother to join. I rehearse the song very well. Then as lead choir I was to address the crowd with the song. Fear first of all catch me. As I held the mike and I faced the congregation, I forgot the song immediately. I face the choir make dem help me. They were shocked. I shouted, hello so many times at them, I mumured some incoherent words back to dem to signal I have forgotten the song, they sheepishly smiled back. Meanwhile all the pastors where laughing inside out. They knew me to be a shy person and yet they were the ones that convinced me to join choir. I stammered, grumbled, talk, mumured, struggled and managed to drag join a few lines I remembered with the help of the choir till the end. As I drop mike and went to my seat the stunned congregation were just looking at me. I have learnt my lesson anyway.
