Barca don't have the money again. Pandemic has exposed them. They have a huge debt from years of gross mismanagement so they can't just go all out and sign players like they use to do before. It is similar with Madrid and that is why Madrid hardly sign big names like they used to do. See how long it took them to sign Hazard. I think for about 2 windows prior they didn't sign anyone. This is one of the reasons both clubs were spare heading the creation of the superleague.

No doubt he is a good coach but when you go to arguably the best team in a country- Barca, Bayern, City; you are bound to win as much as he has. Barca was winning with Rijkaard before he came and the late Tito and Enrique did after he left (may his soul rest in peace). Heynckes did before he came and Flick won more after he had left. Mancini, Pellegrini were winning the league and cups before he came. So he has not done anything so special aside winning the domestic treble in 2018/2019. He needs to win the champions league. Who says Pellegrini might not have won it if he had stayed as long as Pep has. At least he took them to the semi-final in the two or three years he was at the club.

That is why I will still respect Klopp more.
