Politics › Re: Yakasai: Buhari Lacks The Powers To Restructure Nigeria by DMerciful(m): 5:18pm On Oct 06, 2020
Restructuring is about having state police, having control over education so you can decide what will be the curriculum, having control over your resources, having control over healthcare, having control over emergency management,
having ability to remove quota system and celebrate meritocracy, having your own state grid vs national grid, having control over investment and technology. The benefits are endless and SE will do extremely well like was done during the regional govt of Michael Okpara
Coldie:
Ok brother tell us what exactly u want to restructure in the SE?

SW wants to control their affairs like 100% control of Lagos Nigerias commercial capital while they pay tax to the centre.

SS want 100% resource control.

If u from the SE is going for negotiate restructuring what are u agitating for them to restructure in the East?
Politics › Re: Yakasai: Buhari Lacks The Powers To Restructure Nigeria by DMerciful(m): 5:13pm On Oct 06, 2020
I agree with you. The massive corruption we see today is because we accrue almost all resources to the centre where it becomes a national free-for-all. The centers should be made weak so the states or regions becomes self sufficient. Canada is a case study to reapply
Misterdhee1:
This is one of the issues with this system. Every tribe is bothered about Abuja, with little or no concern about development. BTW, igbo presidency irrespective of how sane, is another tall dream. Rather than fight for presidency which is mostly decided by northerners, let us fight for a stronger region and a weaker center. Once Abuja is less attractive, a lot of contemporary issues will be solved bottom-up.
Politics › Re: Yakasai: Buhari Lacks The Powers To Restructure Nigeria by DMerciful(m): 5:09pm On Oct 06, 2020
This is not a federal system! This is a pretense of a federal system. Show a country that practice this system apart from Nigeria and call it a federal system?
Misterdhee1:
Federalism has different species. What we practice is a unit federal system.
Politics › Re: Yakasai: Buhari Lacks The Powers To Restructure Nigeria by DMerciful(m): 5:05pm On Oct 06, 2020
The North wants us to push the issue of restructuring to the corrupt NASS who are massively benefiting from the status quo same as the North. They said the NASS are constitutionally empowered to do it. Question is whose constitution? the fraudulent 1999 constitution imposed by the North through the military? This resistance to restructuring will certainly blow up in their faces!
Politics › Re: Yakasai: Buhari Lacks The Powers To Restructure Nigeria by DMerciful(m): 4:59pm On Oct 06, 2020
Is what we have a federal system? Absolutely not! What we have is a unitary system. I'm surprised you call this a federal system!
Misterdhee1:
Why please? Will restructuring still leave the igbo nation at the bereft of the northern hegemony? The best solution to this nation is a stronger region and a weaker center. Nigerians are no longer patriotic, so it's unreasonable to keep hanging on to the federal system.

Politics › Re: Restructuring: Effective Leaders Listen, Sam Adeyemi Replies Presidency by DMerciful(m): 2:43pm On Oct 06, 2020
Afterwards who formed Amotekun and Oduduwa movement if you got it better? Who got served eventually? It's a matter of time you'll realise the damage you've done. You voted GEJ out because of Vp position, Osinbajo has been caged, doing rubbish duties! He said the walls of the nation is cracked, they almost crucified him until he had to clarify his statement, even vp has no freedom of speech grin
maasoap:
We got tired of Jonathan the betrayer and ineffective buffon and we kicked him out, yes Nigerians kicked him out.
And please, keep your trash in your grey matter. What consequences? What retribution? This is democracy, the right to choose whoever you believe. Why do you guys always think like all Nigerians owe PDP or Jonathan anything? South West fought for Jonathan, you guys turned him against the south west and he got served
Politics › Re: Restructuring: Effective Leaders Listen, Sam Adeyemi Replies Presidency by DMerciful(m): 5:46am On Oct 06, 2020
All you said here are lies and propaganda!
NGpatriot:
Is there anything under the sun tha Tinubu is not responsible for?

Nigerians kicked jona to the curb because he was crooked, corrupt and incompetent.

Even though after collecting more money from oil than previous administrations in the history of Nigeria, but useless jona still declared austerity measure when oil was selling for $77 per barrel, even though he was borrowing hundreds of billions of Naira every month to pay salary till his last days in office, even though he did not commission 1 single project after 6 years in office, even though he stole our $2.3 billion and gave it to Dasuki ATM to share with his cronies, money that was enough to build 1000MW power plant, money that was enough to build 2 Lagos Ibadan railway, money that was enough to build many 2nd NB, even though all our money generating agencies were collecting and pocketting every kobo under his nose, even though after 6 years in office and the largest accumulation of oil money under his watch, Nigeria's economy remain undiversified>>>>>>>>>>>>The list goes on.

You people really think Nigerians have amnesia.
Politics › Re: Restructuring: Effective Leaders Listen, Sam Adeyemi Replies Presidency by DMerciful(m): 4:18am On Oct 06, 2020
Nigerians were not tired of GEJ, it was people like Tinubu that deceived the SW that fuel should be #40/litre, that Yorubas were not in govt, that all the monies were stolen bla bla bla. You can't run away from consequence and retribution!
Mexyz:
Can you guys please just stop this Yoruba here and there that you and your likes keep typing every now and then.... Nigerians were tired of Gej and they voted him out, now they have seen that Buhari is no better and they have the right to complain, so stop calling Yoruba here and there as if they were the only ones that voted in 2015.

On this rail thing, give it to Buhari.

let another administration improve on it, we must not criticize everything. Ask yourself what was in place before now and give a holistic answer to it devoid of ethnicity jingoism, religious inclination and political party loyalty.

His conscience has been disturbing him hence his lamentations lately. Was he not the one that disproportionately shared the PVC to favour Bubu?

Was he not the one that allowed manual voting in the North while preventing same in the South until voting was almost over?

Was he not the one that allowed traditional heads to collect PVCs for their people but prevented same in the South; insisting on individual collection?

Was he not the one that allowed underaged and foreigners from Niger Republic to vote in the North?

Jega better come clean to confess else there will be retribution!

Biafra should be Igbo groups only(anywhere in Nigeria) because we don't want a mini Nigeria. I'm from Delta State btw.
