If you've not had a blood transfusion before, I'll advise you repeat the test in at least 3 different centers. It is very unlikely for you to get HIV from other routes other than blood transfusion and sexual intercourse.

Assuming all he said is the truth, then he needs to admit that he didn't only make a mistake but that he is so stupid that he is a mistake.
