You're grossly biased, I can see that clearly. Since EFCC thinks the best way to reach out to the bank was through the media, why shouldn't Union Bank tweet about it too.

Post exposure prophylaxis is only useful within 72 hours of exposure.

I'll try to clarify some issues on this thread.
1. HIV can take as much as few years before you could have the symptoms. It all depends on your immune system and everyone does have a unique immune system.
2. HIV can not present with symptom in less than 2 weeks.
3. Depending on the test used, the window period can vary as long as 6 months before the test becomes positive.
4. If you contracted the virus already, after 72 hours has elapsed there is absolutely nothing that can be done for you. Whether it takes 3 months or 6 months you will eventually become positive on the test.
5. HIV is manageable if diagnosis is made on time and the quality of life would not be affected.
6. On becoming positive, an increase in unprotected sex as a payback to the society (revenge mission) could result in your HIV strain evolving and becoming resistant to the anti retroviral drugs that was working.

Finally, there is no need for panic, cos if you're positive there is nothing you can do to change your status.
Why people still get involved in unprotected sex with strangers baffles me, that was how one got pregnant and was looking for how to remove the baby, and I was pitying her cos she might also have contacted HIV without knowing.
Abstinence and faithfulness to your spouse remains the best option, to avoid stories that touch.

The reason why discipline with the rod is important for the child is to instill fear, and it is that fear that will protect them till reason will take over as the grow up.

I'll note that you made valid points on the seniority and respect. You can't fight your elder sister that you call "aunty" or "sister". While that might sound archaic for some people, that is the model that works for me.
