Durentt:You literally in your own words just debunked what you typed in caps. An average Herero male does not jerk off to the thoughts of a man, because they aren’t sexually attracted to men? Why do you need to work this hard for something you chose? Why can’t it just go away since you now ’choose’ to be heterosexual? The only choice in your post, is your choice to suppress what your natural instincts are, which is men. I hope for your sake and that of the woman you marry, that you get ‘cured’ straight. |
Kobojunkie: Kobojunkie:Jesus Christ and almighty God never told you how to organize a ceremony or what day or days you should fellowship in his name, yet Christianity and it’s different denominations have created and adopted service styles to do that. They’ve even gone further to create holidays in his name. Were Christians told how and when to celebrate the birth, death, resurrection of Christ? Why selectively pick and choose which man made traditions that are responsible for present day Christianity to discard or to adopt? The way and style Christians worship is purely the traditions and culture of men, why only draw the line at a Christian wedding ceremony? |
Kobojunkie:What is a Christian wedding? What’s the difference between a Christian wedding and a non-Christian wedding? Most Christian weddings start from the pre-marriage counseling, it’s an important part of a Christian wedding, where bible studies and verses that serve as a guideline for a Christian marriage is taught and shared. It prepares the couple for a Christian marriage. Yes a pastor is human but he/she is still a minister in charge of a Christian congregation. Christians go to them to minster/teach/guide/mentor the word of God. A pastor also provides spiritual leadership, not ALL parents can fulfill that role. A Christian wedding is much more than just a blessing of the couple. It’s also a service where the congregation and the couple are ministered to and there’s exchange of vows reaffirming the promises that make a Christian marriage. Some people have special relationships with their pastor and a pastor or a spiritual leader play significant roles in some people’s lives. I’ve noticed most people are more against the Western culture of a Christian wedding and the cost, and not a Christian wedding. You can have a Christian wedding with your African culture, you can literally get married in front of your pastor say bible verses, profess your love and say your vows in front of friends and family in your iro and buba, no wedding party, no reception, make up artist, photographs etc. A Christian wedding is the joining of a couple in a church ceremony (service, mass etc), the same ceremony you participate in every Sunday because you’re a Christian. We don’t have to change the definition because we don’t like the modern day commercialization of a ‘white’ wedding. For those saying no reference of a wedding in the Bible yada yada yada yet you attend church ceremonies of your different denominations every Sunday, the way your church perform their service is it in the Bible? Why would you criticize a Christian wanting to have a Christian wedding? You don’t have to have one, your choice, doesn’t stop you from being a Christian. |
Are you sexually attracted to women? Appreciating the female form doesn’t mean you want to have sex with them. Watching movies or being around lesbians will NOT suddenly make you sexually attracted to women. |
PHIPEX:Christianity like any other religion is man made. There are many denominations/faiths under Christianity. I used Roman Catholic as an example in my first post. The sacrament of matrimony is important to a practicing Catholic. Yes a ‘White’ wedding is a cultural element of a faith and it’s not necessary to do one to have a religious marriage. To criticize people who believe having their marriage blessed by a religious leader is very important to their faith, is what I disagree with. |
PHIPEX:I didn’t say you have to spend to have a religious wedding. If someone believes or their faith dictates their marriage has to be blessed by a religious leader, then let them be, that’s their faith. |
AmazonTopaz:Right?! Tired of this caricature profile of an introvert NL has created or defined. |
Personally, the ‘real’ marriage for me is a civil one not traditional or religious. However, I am not going to begrudge or judge Christians on how they wish to practice their faith. For those citing Jesus at a wedding, Christianity didn’t exist then, Jesus participated in Jewish customs and attended a wedding ceremony that was probably Jewish. Each religion have their way of joining two couples and those that practice said faith should be allowed to follow such practices without judgement. I know for Catholics, a priest blessing your marriage is important, it’s one of the sacraments a Catholic observes while they’re on earth, the last one is death. Edit: I erroneously included last rites as one of the seven sacraments. |
What do you mean by:I say do neither. Look for a daycare option in the U.K you can afford. importing labor is very tricky and could land you in jail. Whatever ‘contract’ or verbal agreement she agrees to is not legally binding, once she gets to the U.K. and she decides not want to work for you, you can’t do sh!t, it’s not like her visa will be cancelled because you say so. I assume she’s coming in with a student visa, then she’s free to go to school and work anywhere she chooses as stipulated on her visa. Also, are you going to meet all the requirements of importing a worker to the UK? Anything short of that is teetering dangerously close to slavery. The devil you know... Even though you remember her as being nice etc, do you really know her? Hope you know people can surprise you. |
OP, some introverts have no qualms approaching a potential love interest, their problem is usually limited options because of their limited social interactions. Relationships tend to start organically, they often meet their SO at work, school, church/mosque etc. |
XX01:Being shy and being introverted are two different things. Not all introverts are shy and not all shy people are introverts, there are many studies/topics on this by psychologists, you can find them on the internet. There are shy extroverts. Yes! You would disagree because a human personality is complex, not all introverts behave alike, the only thing they have in common is how they spend their time. We don’t have just one character trait and for the ones we have they occur on a spectrum. Most psychologists believe there are more ambiverts than the other extremes. |
There’s a difference between introversion and being shy, timid, or lacking in self confidence. Introversion simply means you prefer your own company more than being in the company of others. An extreme introvert male shouldn’t have a problem asking a girl for a date if he isn’t timid or shy. There are lots of male introverts that have no problem approaching girls. Also, it’s not a given having an introverted partner that sits his ass at home will be bliss, introverts prefer their own company. You can live with an introvert in the same room and still be lonely as fvck, the introvert is fine on their own and don’t have to engage, especially with so many entertainment apps within reach. Introverts don’t fear humans, they can hold a job, chat up men/women... yea no parties or large social groups but introverts can literally do every other thing an extrovert can do, they just prefer their own company during their downtime. |
saintvc:Introverts like every other human know the value of work and earning an income. They do their jobs to their fullest ability but prefer to spend their downtime alone. There are introverts that are presidents, actors, motivational speakers, billionaires, successful CEOs etc. introversion doesn’t stop you from doing your job and doing it well. Human personality is complex, people aren’t just introverts, they’re a combination of many characteristics. |
saintvc:Why do you think two introverts will struggle to make ‘more’ money? |
Slynation:Really? Even though the kindness was at the expense of someone else? So a wicked deed is justified as long as it was used to help the few. |
Our money culture, greed, the lack of content, the need to show off will NEVER allows us to be great. If I am the judge, I will sentence him to the maximum, if he can still operate a computer when he gets out, he’s still a danger to society. They never learn! |
AngryHulk616:Don’t let this hinder your personal growth journey. There’s nothing wrong with being an introvert, it’s just one of the personality trait of a human being. It also occurs on a spectrum. There are celebrities that are introverts. There is no cure for a personality trait, you’re born with it. It’s best you see the positives of being an introvert and embrace it. I understand you’re struggling with it now but with time you will figure it out and adapt. The world is made for extroverts and you’ve to learn to co-exist with it. I know being a college student on campus, there’s no worse place and stage in your life for peak extrovert, so you feel left out and shut off. You will graduate, get a job, have more responsibilities, sometimes your job will help improve your social skills because you will have no choice especially if you want to survive office politics and earn a living. Overtime, your job, family will start to fill the void, you realize you don’t really need more than 1/2 friends in your life anyway. One tip that helps with strangers, is to always remember you will never see them again, so what do you have to lose? Remember this is a journey, and you can never outgrow a personality but you can learn to love and lean in to the positives of being an introvert. You can start now by believing being different is not bad. |
Vatican City & Liechtenstein are the only two on the list that are appealing. |
donuchris007:At whose expense? |
The concept of “no means no” or consensual sex, shouldn’t really be that hard to understand. The only reason you would have a problem with it is if you believe a woman doesn’t have the right to say no. Anyways, between this thread and other threads on rape, Nigerian women your men have told you they have no self control and are no different from animals, so treat them accordingly, treat all as potential rapists until they prove otherwise. Even the ones you know should not be exempt from this treatment. Most rape victims knew their rapist. Stay safe and guard your vag!na from these savages. |
Cocao:You told no lies. They are not happy and content with living their lives and their choice of submissive women. ALL women must be submissive. ALL men must want submissive women. A woman that doesn’t fit their mold is “bitter”. A man that doesn’t fit their mold, is “weak” and a “simpleton” You can’t really be happy with your life if you’re that pressed with how other people choose to live their lives. |
Righteousness89:Really? What I don’t know is public records. Ivanna and Marla Maples are still alive. |
Righteousness89:Doesn’t that make you a hypocrite? You wouldn’t advise your sister to marry a divorcee whose wife is still alive but you’re gung ho about a man that married TWO women while his exes are still alive and also cheated on them all. The ‘religious’ right have ceded any moral ground with their support of Trump. |
Akposb:Lmfao |
eyinjuege:I’m hoping with the worldwide attention they would be shamed into doing the right thing, but one can only hope. Wow! I didn’t know that, it could be premeditated then, but that would be hard to prove. Honestly, I am okay with murder 3, as long as one of these racist pigs go to prison, finally. That would be a very good deterrent. Also, I’m wondering why the cashier called the cops. I’ve worked retail while in college and I never called the cops. I just give you back your fake bills, sometimes the holder isn’t aware it’s fake bills. |
Eyinjuege, he has been arrested and charged with murder 3 and manslaughter. We might finally get a guilty verdict. Usually, he would have been charged with murder 1, and found not guilty for lack of evidence. |
I don’t know why people are brushing off your concerns. Elder abuse is real and people DO take advantage of the elderly. If his recent spending habits are suspicious, i.e needing more money than usual then your concerns are valid. He already has a caregiver, so you guys are now paying for a maid and a blood tonic. He just lost your grandmother, whom I would assume he spent a lifetime with, so he’s vulnerable. The children and grand children should be more careful and make sure the young woman does not make herself his power of attorney. She can be his blood tonic, if that’s what he needs, but keep her far away from his assets. |

eyinjuege:Always, the exception was a black cop that shot a white female tourist. Same MO, after an outcry, DA takes case to a grand jury. Grand Jury will rule for the case to go to court. The DA will purposely overcharge, then the Jury’s inevitable “not guilty” verdict because the evidence doesn’t match the charge. Cop/racist vigilante goes free to terrorize another black male. The system is set up to protect bad cops. How can the DA objectively prosecute the same people he relies on to make his everyday job easier? |
Do you really want to keep dating a 30+ year old momma’s boy who is still in-love with his ‘ex’? |
