A breakdown of the $6.9billion Paris Club Refund to 36 States plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

http://www.naijahelm.com/2017/03/breakdown-of-69billion-paris-club.html?m=1
This quote is from The Nation newspaper.Complete information is better than incomplete information:

“The Federal Government would issue long tenored instruments of between 5 to 10 years to States with valid claims of over deduction, as a means of refunding the States.”

Please digest before asking your governor what is not yet available.
Politics › Re: Nigeria's Economy Is Finally Out Of Recession - World Economics by Doyin2(m):
softwerk:
Rubbish! Just like the polls said Hillary Clinton would defeat Donald Trump?! huh

I won't believe this poo until a bag of rice is sold for N11000.

Come and beat me tongue
You need enlightenment,not beating.

Out of recession has nothing to do with the current cost of food stuffs.Recession has every thing to do with our GDP.(Gross domestic product).

GDP simply put,is the aggregate value of goods and services produced in an economy, including net exports.

The fall in oil revenue brought about a serious forex pressure on the value of the naira and the cost of petrol. These were the major reasons for the rise in the cost of living.

We were in recession because of fall in oil export revenue,so do not be surprised if we are out of recession because of rise in oil export revenue.

Simple economics!

Those blaming Buhari are just fools, mischief makers or mere economic illiterates.Even the best economists in the world could not have salvaged the situation.Infact we should thank Buhari for not using our foreign reserve to defend the Naira,a stupid policy of the PDP administration.

The current pumping of forex into the market by CBN,is from current forex inflows and not from reserves, not a bad idea but a temporary solution.

The longer term solution is less dependent on imports, greater national productivity and export revenue diversification. This is by no means what you achieve in 2 or 4 years:the bitter truth we must learn to swallow.

100% Local refining of petroleum products would definitely crash the value of the dollar to about N50,quote me any where!
Politics › Re: Senate Begins Investigation Of Dino Melaye Over Alleged Certificate Scandal by Doyin2(m):
EricBloodAxe:
Hmm...Dino sorry dude. But if anything ur master at d top forged his waec certificate. So u can use dat as a reference 2 challenge ur case if any dust arises.
Idiots like you should please stop all these nonsense.

Buhari did not forge any certificate. His integrity and uprightness is upheld and verified locally and internationally.

Buhari's cambridge result was published and his school also gave him a statement of result which was published openly for every sane Nigerian to Digest.

It is not unusual or criminal to lose your certificate and replace it with a verified and verifiable statement of result

The reason why Buhari had to hire SANs to defend his certificate issue in court was because of technicalities involved:

Muhamed Buhari(the name in his statement of result) v Muhamadu Buhari(his adopted name).[/b]

This is a very technical issue in law that could be argued either way.I suspect Buhari did not perfect the formalisation of his adopted name of Muhamadu.

The hiring of SANs has nothing to do with whether Buhari has certificate or not!

After this enlightenment, only idiots and mischief makers would continue to ask for Buhari's certificate or talk of forgery.

Naija. ...a failed state.
Dino said he graduated from ABU
Sahara says otherwise
Solution: ABU should publish the result of the Year Dino graduated.
Problem solved.

Buhari said he wrote WAEC
Some said he did not
Solution: The school should have publish all the results of the year Buhari graduated .
Problem solved.

But then again, it's Nigeria. A country where we leave possible solutions and go dancing makosa.

Buhari decided to hire 1.2million SANs to defend him instead of paying 1000naira for a simple transcript.

Dino decided to advertise his stupidity by shouting on the floor that he is an authentic graduate of ABU instead of simply presenting a letter from the school that states that he was indeed their student.

I rest my case
I decided to enlighten you because I believe you wrote this trash out of genuine innocence and not mischief.

Buhari's cambridge result was published and his school also gave him a statement of result which was published openly for every sane Nigerian to Digest.

It is not unusual or criminal to lose your certificate and replace it with a verified and verifiable statement of result

The reason why Buhari had to hire SANs to defend his certificate issue in court was because of technicalities involved.

A typical example,among others:

Muhamed Buhari(the name in his statement of result) v Muhamadu Buhari(his adopted name).

This guy is a dimwit!
So a standing rule of the senate would supercede the constitution of the FRN which doesn't give a limit to d number of times a person can be represented for an office by d president for confirmation by the senate!!
I don't blame him, they now feel they are dealing with a mentally incapacitated president who probably doesn't even know when somebody sneaks in to draft a letter on his behalf and signs it!!
Or they may b dealing with a double faced president who not wanting Magu, knowing how good he is at d job,who cud dig one day and find out more dirt perpetuated by family and relations of the president & with overwhelming legal view now agreed that Magu can be represented as many times as possible,PMB and his antiMagu cabal, now boxed in a corner,av now dug up this standing rule from their asses to find d last reason to use to prevent Magu from becoming substantive EFCC chairman.
This conspiracy to stop Magu may finally expose PMB for who he trully is,unless he sends back his name again for confirmation.
A big thank you to you!

A country deserves the type of senators it gets.A useless senator ignoring the constitution for a mere in-house rule undecided

The constitution is very clear, only the president can remove Magu as the acting EFCC boss/head:

D - The Public Service of the Federation

171. (1) Power to appoint persons to hold or act in the offices to which this section applies and to remove persons so appointed from any such office shall vest in the President.

(2) The offices to which this section applies are, namely -
(a) Secretary to the Government of the Federation;
(b) Head of the Civil Service of the Federation;
(c) Ambassador, High Commissioner or other Principal Representative of Nigeria abroad;
(d) Permanent Secretary in any Ministry or Head of any Extra-Ministerial Department of the Government of the Federation howsoever designated; and
(e) any office on the personal staff of the President.
(3) An appointment to the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation shall not be made except from among Permanent Secretaries or equivalent rank in the civil service of the Federation or of a State.
(4) An appointment to the office of Ambassador, High Commissioner or other Principal Representative of Nigeria abroad shall not have effect unless the appointment is confirmed by the Senate.
(5) In exercising his powers of appointment under this section, the President shall have regard to the federal character of Nigeria and the need to promote national unity.
(6) Any appointment made pursuant to paragraphs (a) and (e) of subsection (2) of this section shall be at the pleasure of the President and shall cease when the President ceases to hold office;

Provided that where a person has been appointed from a public service of the Federation or a State, he shall be entitled to return to the public service of the Federation or of the State when the President ceases to hold office.

Magu is not indispensable, but we must rise against conspiracy and guide against future blackmail of seemingly hardworking, fearless and non-compromising public officers.
Business › The New Face Of Farming: Youth Making Agribusiness ‘cool’ by Doyin2(op): 4:23pm On Mar 09, 2017
Run a quick Google search on African women making it in business, and you will rarely find a young woman engaged in rural farming. But Mavis Nduchwa has challenged norms by founding and successfully managing a commercial animal feed farm in Botswana.

Thirty-three-year-old Nduchwa, who was born on a farm in rural Francistown in eastern Botswana, near the border with Zimbabwe, developed an interest in agriculture at an early age. However, as she grew older, the allure of city life drove her to earn a degree in real estate and hospitality management. She later worked as a journalist.

But given the high cost of agricultural inputs strangling her farming community, Nduchwa sensed that affordable, locally produced animal feed as a substitute for the expensive imported kind, could boost the agribusiness sector. She quit her job in the hospitality industry and teamed up with her husband Brighton Chabana to found Chabana Farms in 2011.

Six years later.....

NubiLove:
Which boils down to 6000 Naira per person... what is so unbelievable about the fact that the average person that participated in MMM scheme lost N6000.
Two things are involved:

1.18 billion Naira is an under estimate
2. 3 million is an over estimate

Jabioro:
All I can see, saw, and perceived is white lied.. an average of 6billion naira per a million people..
Should I pity your condition?

Any way Let me educate you:

18 billion naira = 6billion naira x 3,000 (three thousand and not three million!!!!!!)

1 billion= 1 million x 1 thousand

So divide 18billion naira by 3million people, gives you an average of just N6,000 per person!

Stupid reportage!

The official market rate is N315 to the dollar. The volumes traded at this official market rate is far more than the illegal black market.

I just wonder why it is only in Nigeria useless journalists report illegal black market rates.

The media is a major part of the problems of this country.Availability of information is a key factor to any market success, legal or illegal.Once the information on the illegal black market rate is not readily available, the market would crash at once!

But unfortunately, the black market rate is always hitting the headlines.

What a country! cry
