the problem with most nigerians is that you believe so much in the garbage the press feeds you. now after you all made fun of my assertions hasnt the number one thing i said come to pass? the more you see the less you understand, we will see who's gonna laugh last! like i said watch out as events unfold in the coming days. take it from me (a very reliable source) there's gonna be drama!! |
pres yar adua will return to the country in a matter of weeks, the courts will declare jonathan's acting presidency illegal, jonathan/obasanjo will lose in the power play (this was pre-planned)' certain ministers will lose their seats, a good number of governors/senators/rep-members will kiss their seats good bye come 2011, a north eastern governor will assume the presidency come 2011. for those doubting, watch the events that will unfold in the coming few days!! |
just saying it as it is bro! |
it will definitely be appealed and status quo maintained |
what kind of journalism is that? "swear in jonathan" no details given, are you sure it's even true? |
UPDATE 2-Nigeria president's health is improving-spokesman Mon Jan 11, 2010 1:10pm EST * Unclear when president will return home * Protesters to seek more disclosure on Yar'Adua's health (Adds background) By Felix Onuah ABUJA, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Ailing Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua is "very much conscious" and his health is improving after receiving treatment for a heart condition in hospital in Saudi Arabia, a presidency spokesman said on Monday. The 58-year-old leader has not been seen or heard from publicly since leaving Nigeria on Nov. 23, fuelling speculation in the local media about the gravity of his illness, with some reporting he is largely incapable of communicating. "The president is alive and actually getting better," Olusegun Adeniyi told reporters by phone from Angola. "He is very much conscious, can talk and has been talking, including making phone calls to some people back home." He said he did not know when Yar'Adua would return to Nigeria as it was up to his doctors to decide. A rally, led by Nobel Prize-winning author Wole Soyinka, is scheduled for early on Tuesday in Abuja to pressure the government to disclose more information about Yar'Adua's medical condition. Parliament also is expected to address the issue of the president's absence on Tuesday. The government is facing pressure from senior lawyers, political analysts and opposition party officials to provide concrete evidence that Yar'Adua is fit enough to govern Africa's most populous country. Critics say government assurances are no longer enough and demand visual evidence of the president's condition after seven weeks in hospital. http://www.reuters.com/article/idUKLDE60A27J20100111 |

really what has the woman done to receive such treatment? those that have been prosecuted, the courts gave them a tap on the back instead of following the ribadu era where people are pronounced guilty even before being charged she chose too abide by the rule of law (even if it is ibori, tinubu, kalu e.t.c) must we do everything by fire brigade? how long did the oj simpson case last? if you say babangida is corrupt should she just wake up and arrest him without necessary investigation? abeg you guys free the woman |
ribadu should shut his gutter up! wasnt he the one that had nothing on george? |
just curious, all these positions people are complaining about where actually occupied by southerners during obasanjo,so why the heck wouldnt you let us rest? |

just thinking out loud, the north predominantly muslims, average marriage age 15-17,average wives per person-4,average kids per household 20,added to the daily number of immigrants from niger, chad and co the south predominantly christians, average marriage age 27-30,average wives per-person 1,average kids per-house hold 5 (these days most enlightend ones go for 2),daily number of immigrants (mainly lagos) mostly businessmen men on a biz trip. with the above another man in another country will say the north is way more populated than the south butthis is nigeria where every thing has to be against the north right? as for the topic, nigeria is actually less than 130million |

@poster militants were among the over 1200 killed, about 150 or so militants have been arrested and a large catchment of arms were recovered! dont you listen to news? mend were able to strike again but on a small scale compared to what they usually do after attacks by the military, the foreign news media actually carried the story of the destruction of camp5 |
fashola is trying no doubt, but we should try and get information straight before copying and pasting, fashola only commissioned tha cars, the initiative was actually a union bank thing (they invited fashola the same way they would have invited yar'adua),secondly they were 200 cars and not 1200! |
