For me constant or almost constant electricity is the highest priority, followed by Security. Money isn't the issue.

Awuse two bedroom flat is around 2 million or 2.5 million naira. The security is tight and the roads a re well tarred. a lot of expartraites also live there especially indians. Chris Okotie also has a big house there close to the omodara axis in the estate. At night i thinl they use OPC for protection and last i checked the electricity in the estate was pretty good. The location is also excellent if u work in ikeja but not so sure if its good enough if u work on the island. If you have children its not far from chrisland which is quite pricey but there are other schools in the neighbourhood. All in All, it has a very nice ambience which i can say is second to only ikeja GRA in the whole ikeja axis.

The negative part is that social life in the state is dead at night and during the day.I only know one hotel jeromes garden and suites in the estate. i dont know if there are more. there are no bars or lounges or hot spots in awuse estate compared to Ikeja GRA where you have all the best eateries and lounges and hotspots. However outside the awuse estate you can find all that along the opebi to allen stretch all the way to the ikeja mall

If you can afford it, i highly highly recommend the place in terms of security,electricity and ambiance.

it’s really nice and peaceful light is stable though sometimes we do have no light during the day and night there are close by schools and security is good. We have a clubhouse but no public park or anything like that though but maybe in the future

Try Alison, they have a well prepaid curriculum for that.

Secondly, I realized that these people who could so gladly and willingly smile in my face and then go behind my back to say these vile stuff should be kept at a distance and that’s what I’ve been doing since then.

I’m vigorously preparing for the placement tests which would determine the classes I would enrol. While the English placement doesn’t bug me one bit, the math placement test is weighing heavy on my mind. I can’t remember when last I did college algebra and all that stuff, but I’m watching YouTube videos and brushing up slowly and steadily

There is a report that China is planning to buy Nigeria. I can't wait for that to happen so I can use my own share of the money to escape from jungle called Nigeria.

Ikeja GRA, Several Estates in Opebi, off Allen Avenue Ikeja, even if you like the service apartments.

There are nice places including Estates in Gbagada too.

Omole Estate is a good one too.

Magodo is good too. Just be careful. Some areas have flood problems.

I'm not sure of Surulere. Too many overpriced old structures.

I don't know this guy from anywhere, we've never talked before but with the passion in which he embraced his work means so much to me... Residents of Awka can attest to the fact that this guy brings smiles to the faces of everyone that passes through Aroma Junction.

So sometime last month I thought of doing something extraordinary for him... To let him know there are ones out there who truly appreciate him for being who he is. I shared the idea with Claire Akunna and we met some of his colleagues who revealed to us that his birthday comes up today being 18th of May.

I contracted the best Artist in Awka @Cool Artz to make a portrait of him in Action and Chisom Udeoba to design a beautiful birthday cake and today me and my friends put up a surprise birthday party for a man we're all meeting for the first time.

His Joy knew no bounds as his colleagues cunningly dragged him to the venue of the party and meeting a surprise birthday song from a group of young people... The pictures can tell better. Lol

His appreciation speech was out of this world which got all of us so emotional... Indeed today is such a blessed one.

Which school did you attend in Nigeria

I looked at the course outline for nursing, it included anatomy and physiology 1 and 2. I asked if I could take a placement test for those at least, to take some credits, she declined. Even my GSTs from my first year in school, philosophy and logic, civic education etc etc, she said they can’t accept any of them.

I thanked her for her time, stood up and while walking out it dawned on me, I had wasted 6years of my life, studying in that school for nothing.

But then again, I understand the theory of time zones. I will start afresh, but not in Chicago state university. I will graduate when I graduate.
