I speak and understand some delta languages, Igbo and Yoruba. But u would be right to say English is my mother tongue cos I think, dream and sleep in English. Learnt a little French but Neva think in French, also speak a little Dutch, Deutsch and Scandinavia have had dreams in these languages too. I think what someone is doing, where the person is at that point in time has an influence to what language he or she may be thinking or dreaming. The thing to ask, I believe is to differentiate between father and mother tongue. For me, my mother tongue is English since its the first language I learnt. Then my father tongue is my parents language..

Funny but its only in Nigeria that something like this will become an issue. Have had older people work under me and showed me the same respect I showed them. Respect is reciprocal, that's what I told them before we started working together. After that, we drink coffee, and smoke together during breaks so working together was a ball..

Sure I know their army is rather good but their top military leaders are mostly right wingers, there are no liberals there so I won't be too eager to learn from that kind of school of thought neither would I want someone I know to do such thing, that at least is one of the points my Pakistan pal stressed.

OMG but this our illiterate leaders know how to insult our intelligence. What would Nigerian soldiers learn from Pakistan apart apart from how to kill innocent people, rape and collect bribe. If u doubt pls go and check what's happened in Pakistan. I was so irritated by this information that I called a good friend of mine from Pakistan just to ask him what he thought of the idea. He just laughed and asked me if the soldiers being trained are Moslems and I told him yes, he then said "well looks like soon not just ur civilians would be terrorizing ur folks with bombs but maybe also ur military". I found that disheartening but he meant it.

Why bother ur heads. Who said we didn't know that he was going to contest or we didn't know that he was eligible to contest. Break ur head till tomorrow, he will contest and he will win or have u not seen cases in Nigeria where someone doesn't contest an election but still wins, so why bother...
