The pastor said this is how he wishes to die. He didn't say he had seen a vision from GOD and had been told this is how he will die.
Who here wants a painful death? I too want a painless death. |

You are using PSG and Arsenal to judge him, two dysfunctional clubs. |

AyoII: Lol. As if he was not beaten twice last season by the same Arsenal that sacked him. He's only having a good time at Villa. He will soon come crashing and the same people and media singing his praise now. Will also tear him apart. We will be there. He took over from Gerrard and is building his team. Similar pattern as other new managers to the league. Guardiola, Klopp all went through this. |

I mean say assuming Unai Emery na English coach we for nor dey hear word.... They make more noise when their person is doing exploits.
That was how they hyped Sancho when he was at Dortmund and deceived Man U to sign him. Their focus now is on Jude Bellingham. Your communication wasn't clear. Also Newcastle's coach is English. They are not hyping him that much. Jadon Sancho was fire at Dortmund. Jude is a solid player. The only worry I have is there is a tendency for English players to drop after 4 years. Besides the hype is how they get y'all to watch them. |

casualobserver: If you read my post, I stated have no problem with the substance of what he said. I have a problem with his audience, his motives and because it comes from Obi who has always shown a penchant for Uncle Tom behavior.
Everything about this fella from accepting a name change to Mikel, to fake accent, to knocking Africans in front of a white audience to marrying white for ratings smacks of inferiority complex and a desire to serve his white masters.
If he said it to an African audience, a Nigerian tv station or radio, I won’t have a problem. What exactly is the white man supposed to do with that info? Except to perpetrate the stereo type of the African entertainment. If he really wanted to send a message to Africanaudience and he is really that bothered he should have said in to an African/Nigerian audience.
Stop making fools of yourselves to please the white man. Slavery is over, colonialism is over. The says where you put a black man in an audience to entertain the white man is over. Do you ever hear the Brazilians, the Venezuelans or the Colombian footballers come on TV to denigrate their own? Their conditions are no different from ours. They also have a family culture like us and most footballers from South America are from poor backgrounds, many from even poorer backgrounds than Nigeria. Exactly. You got it. I felt ashamed for the guy. He even said it on talksport - one of the gutters of English radio. I am very embarrassed for him. |

salem1996: Well, am not saying the lecturer took the right actions though because slapping her is out of it. But, if you've led a group of persons or be a teacher, you'll understand that lecturer's actions. If he pardon her, trust others to follow suit. If I were the lecturer, the best was to send her out of the class though So this is what you would do in a business with young people reporting to you? You would justify communicating your frustrations with physical actions? The lecturer is a mature adult. He clearly has anger issues. |

Mom007: Are they not kids? Look at both of them, is she not young enough to be his grandchild? Is that not an unruly behaviour she displayed? How many hours is the class that she could not comply with a simple directive? Respect they say is reciprocal. She got the disrespect she dished out. I didn't say 'don't deal with the disrespect' if indeed it is disrespect and not an individual who is allowing other issues to cloud their judgement. Physical assault is a no-no. What if the student had an unknown health issue and this happened? If the student collapses, then what? The teacher lacks judgement. |

SAMBARRY: lol another gen z
First of all are new generation undergraduate students not kids? Even their behaviour gives them out as kids
Have you seen the ages of students being admitted into the university I mean both public and private.
You will see 14,16,17 in 100 level.many of them are Still teenagers and graduate 19,20,21.it was never so before.if you are not 18 you can't be admitted no matter how intelligent you were and in some universities,21 was the maximum age for admission and by the time you even do jamb at least 4 times you'll have been over and above 22 with some sense of rationality, maturity and sense of responsibility.
You know the wahala you went through to get admitted.now there are options for new generation students getting admitted.you Can fail jamb and still do other things to get admitted or go to private university,in our time there were no private universities and even when they started cropping up we had already finished our degree and NYSC and they were mainly for the children of the big elites.
Now your parents go to school to check on you,it's now I heard lecturers beg students to come for lectures especially in private university.lol.those days no lecturer gave a f**k about you, they expected that you will be sensible enough to come to class and behave yourself Your assumption is wrong about my generation and this means your post is based on flawed assumptions. There is no reason for any teacher to physically assault a teenager in university. It is a failing of the teacher. He should be sued by the student unfortunately it is very likely that the jury may be composed of people with your type of thinking. It is also the reason I have no respect for universities where undergraduates are treated as secondary school students. |

He should be taken to court for the physical assault. Wrong behaviour by lecturer. Problem in Nigeria is we see university students as kids and treat them accordingly. |
