Only problem I have with most ladies and driving is having to beg them to pass a very very narrow lane so that traffic can move. I hate the way they just sit and convince themselves their car wont pass, when it will. Some men do the same. People just need to know the real width of their cars.

Have an idea of the strengths and weaknesses of as many good languages as possible and use what gets the job done. I have a good JAVA background and a solid PHP background but I have stopped thinking of solutions to my problems in PHP or Java. When there is a problem now I think of the programmatic solutions and pick the language that solves it best. If its a language I dont know I just have to add 2 weeks to the total completion time in the proposal. There's no language I cant kick-start from novice to intermediate within 2 weeks and I expect this to apply to every programmer.

Well since you've decided to drop the native search of the site in favor of Google's site search then you should think of fixing this bug. I understand the pain some people face. You see a search result written "2 days ago" you open it and its a 4 year old post.

Its not a bad idea at all if the "paid templates" where actually paid for and the developer knew how to customise the "paid template" without having to resort to another "paid template" hoping that's what the client wants.

In your case those templates were not bought by you, we both know warez. Please don't argue this point, you have a warez profile on this board.

By using warez'd templates on commercial sites you put your client at the risk of a DMCA take down by the owner of the stolen template.

Varies for future projects, enter solid agreements with people you want to work with. I recommend you post your jobs on freelancer.com (until these boys are ready to join me in creating a Nigerian freelance site) I get most of my full-time and one-time development jobs from there and you can verify every use there with their reviews. When you are posting a job be sure to post a full description of what you want and please be nice with your budget. No professional web developer will develop that your site for you from scratch for 50k. When you aim low with your budget you are asking the person you are hiring to aim low with his quality. Infact when someone you want to hire gives you a ridiculously low price that's enough reason to run away cuz you will be ending up with a re-used template.
