I am not able to book appointment with TLS website. I completed all the payment and redirect through UK.gov to TLS website. The website shows the appointments date but not the appointment time. So I can’t book the appointment for student visa. Is anyone here at also going through this or I’m gettin crazy? Help help help?

If you don't upload your TB certificate you will get an NSF requesting for it


UK will not take that chance and overwhelm their already struggling NHS

Please don't advise if you aren't sure

You have to work with your Uni's requirements

If they want to see your O/Alevels and Undergraduate results then you will have to submit it

So it will depend on your Uni and your course requirements

Since the clinician gave you the certificate then submit it including the referral note.

He assured you so go with that

Once you arrive UK and you register with a GP please give them the referral letter to proceed with investigation and/or treatment

Please I need urgent answer.

I did my TB test today and I was referred to see the doctor there after the result came out.
The doctor said he noticed a very little tick something in the upper side of my lungs but is not TB related and it won’t affect my Visa application and is not serious.

He asked questions that might lead to it which I never engaged myself in any then he said it might clear on its own but I should go for another TB test after 6 months to check again when I get to UK.

Am just worried even when he assured me that is not going to affect my application.

Please someone should explain more to me because I want to submit it now

I am the Main Applicant and I have 2 dependents, my husband and our daughter. POF is in my husband’s account. Still dnt know how it didn’t occurs to us to transfer the POF to my account. POF has matured now and we were trying to apply for Visa yesterday night and that was when we realized that we should have transferred the POF to my account? Can we go ahead and use his account for POF and get a consent letter from him. We read on UKVI site that I can only use my partners account if we are going together. We plan to go together with our daughter but he is having issues with his passport renewal. His current passport expires Jan 2023. What do u advice pls? Do we start the POF again? Our deadline is October 10. Your candid advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

Okay but please do not make any student visa application until you have the outcome of your visit visa

If you can't wait then you might need to cancel your application, your visa fee will not be refunded

I might also suggest you target January session so that give you time to get your decision and passport returned and plan for your study visa

If they are family and the description of family is on that section then Yes, I believe family friend doesn't count as one

If you can't get your passport before then you have 2 options


1. Not to do a walk in

2. Pay for a keep my passport service at TLS

Remember the second option will lead to further delays when a decision is made. No kill UKVI with paid mail or call when it's time

You also need a court order showing you have sole responsibility of your child even though you didn't get married.


The consent letter from the child's father is an additional requirements,the court order is important

You need to also add other letters I e from schools, hospital showing you have been responsible for the child since Birth.

Bear in mind all of these will be investigated so ensure they are authentic

That's the disadvantage of using an agent and I am not sure why you still choose to when you can DIY and have a wealth of experienced people on this platform to assist when needed.

I am also not sure if you are applying for by visit or study visa


Since you have submitted your application you have to hope that ECO overlooks the omission

I told him about it and he said it's insignificant to the student visa application and should be discountenanced.

He also said I need to be careful to ensure that everything I write for the student visa application matches what I have for the visitor's own. I'm quite confused

You are to submit the documents stated in your CAS and additional documents if required

For instance if you have a study gap of more than 5years then you need to submit evidence of work or other activities you have been doing since then

The additional documents is based on the applicant's situation.

If you don't hear from them by the 5th of August then send another paid mail and ask for it to be escalated

The question is if they will allow it on the day you choose to go

I have a question please. I got a 12:30 appointment for August 19 at the VI location, then I checked again very early this morning and got the same day but a 10:30 appointment which I amended. This is a far date for me, so I decided a walk-in would be better. I thought I could pay onsite but while reading some information on the tls website, I saw that I had to pay online - "Please note that Flexi Appointments must be booked online and that there are limited appointment slots available each day". So I went back to the booking page and selected the flexi option, but unfortunately I couldn't checkout because there was absolutely no available date showing. I checked all through even to November which was strange. Please do you know what I can do in this situation? Can I just go there and make the payment when I want to? Or it just means there are no flexi dates available.
