Yes but the 90days will usually be around your course start date not 3months before then.

I think this measure was during Covid when there were still restrictions on travel.i am sure they will soon adjust this back to the usual 30days time frame. We will see how it goes

People that recently got visas have a 90day vignette, they can enter the Uk within those 90days, it used to be 30days , not anymore.

No it shouldn't be an issue, they are supposed to provide a cover letter for you, saying the funds are for your studies,in that cover letter they should address any discrepancies with the account name.

I trust we're all good. Please I have a question about POF. I intend to use my parents joint account for it, since it'll be easier. There will be no need to count any 28days.

I got the info that my consent letter has to include both of them. Now here's the thing; my birth certificate shows the names O-A and T-A for my parents. But the account name is O and C-T A. The account has an extra name(C) attached to it, my mums middle name.

Abeg, would this be an issue? Someone on a group I asked mentioned adding their marriage certificate to it as well. Would this suffice?

You should have discussed this with your friend first and confirm how much he/she is happy to receive in naira value.

At this point,if the person insist on black market rate what do you do?
Your options are limited,confirm how much the person is asking for in naira and if it is black market rate then you have to do the needful,if it is less than that then good

Yes you can request for your TB certificate to be uploaded during your biometrics if you missed it.I think you have to pay for that though.

You can pick a date but do ensure all your documents are either uploaded before or on the day of your biometrics

In my case I finished NYSC 2007 and I worked from 2007 to 2014 after which I started my own business

But what I did with CAC was just businesses name registration and it's showing active on their website.
My business is visible online

Can I just submit the business name registration certificate from CAC and introduction letter?
As well as work reference letter from my former employer
Plus CV

Please advise I don't have memorandum of association and the likes

I will advise that you make payment before you leave. Some Uni's may not proceed with registration without deposit.

What is the difference between uploading yourself and submitting at TLS?

It is one and the same thing. If you go for assisted service then TLS will scan and upload it for you if you do self service then you do so yourself

And yes if you identify a reasonable study gap do so

Is this for study visa or visit visa?

If it is study and because you don't own the company, ideally you shouldn't be denied, you are an employee.

The advise given here are for people who own these companies and have put them in as self employed for a duration to cover the study gap.

If it is visit visa, then Yes ,you could be denied.

Can you advise your company to file their annual returns, if you can then good.

I guess I will have to go to Tax office to find out how I can pay annual tax return (I believe CAC annual return is different from tax annual return). I wanted to skip before since people who had got visa with long study gap only made mention of CAC Cert in their transcripts.

I will go and do it to avoid story that touches.

I think it is pretty straightforward on CAC website

When it is inactive it means the company hasn't filed their annual returns.

You should be able to write a cover letter, requesting to file annual returns, I know there is a fee for that and it will be calculated in arrears for the years that hasn't been filed.

If dealing directly with CAC is stressful then you may wish to engage a lawyer who will do that for you.

Thanks for clarifying, since it is for a gap you are definitely on track.

CV may not be sufficient so yes add CAC documents and tax returns to avoid NSF requesting additional documents.

If I am not mistaken I have seen people who are self employed uploading saying they their company CAC cert in their application. This is why I am asking....

Is only CV sufficient?

I think this depends on the Uni,

Some are happy to receive less than 28days and then advise on 28days wait before submission with UKVI

Some are happy to receive less than 28days and ask for an updated statement before issuing CAS

Some are specific on the 28days full statement

So it depends on the Uni, every applicant should get the proper advise on what their school are happy to receive.

If we keep arguing we will derail the thread.

We are referring to printing bank statements not POF

She can print her 28-30days bank statement anyday prior to her biometrics. The more recent the statement is the better.

UKVI knows the institution with track record or not,if it is not stated in your CAS it is not up to you to say.

If they didn't ask that should be fine, although there should be a section about travel history where these sort of questions about visiting any other country and being refused is asked.

The GWF no is the main applicants, so it should be yours even if they are applying with their dad.
