You should be fine submitting it just like that however if it is concern to you then you can request to change the address to the new school.i think there is a fee for it Cheers barongmj: Good Evening, please if I choose a university as my address for TB test and I decide to go to another university. Hello, I think you posted this question multiple times Anyway, regarding your US visa were you placed on ban? It seems so from the multiple refusals you have since gotten from Canada and Australia. You have to declare this at the relevant sections during your visa application and to be honest it may or may not affect your dependant application. 2. you should remember roughly how many years after the first Canada application that you put in the second.Like @giselle237 said we can all remember or atleast estimate our applications and refusals. You could say for instance 2015 for first application and around 2017 (if you are uncertain) 3. The same applies to your Australian visa refusals, you can estimate the year. If you aren't sure of the reason, then state it as it is (i.e. unsure of the reason for refusal). But if you can track were you received a decision then please put the reason. 4. Your chances are 50/50, pray and hope this doesn't affect your application. My advice, your wife should apply first and get her visa Finally do not blame the agent, I am sure you had an idea of what he/she was doing and approved it. It is okay, we learn, howbeit painfully. Good luck Bhoyo: Cc: duchess90, Justwise and other Gurus in the house.
I need your preferred advice on this PLS.
1. I was refused US student visa 4 years ago with the reason of fake document. It happened because of the Agent I used then. Pls how will state this during my visa application as a dependent because my wife is the main applicant? What is my chance of getting dependent visa and my wife getting her own visa as main applicant?
2. Pls I was refused Canada visa for two times before but I only remember the year of the first application but I did not remember the year of application of second refusal. Pls how would I state this on my visa application?
3. I was refused Austrialia Visa before but I did not remember the date of the application at all. Pls how would I state this on my visa application?
4. Please what is my chance of getting visa as a dependent with all this?
NOTE: After all this refusal and ban, I have went to Poland with a student Visa for my MSc.
Pls quick response. (Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share) |

Hello, Atleast it isn't a ban so that's good. You can withdraw your application at anytime until a decision is made. Once a decision is made you can no longer do so It's your decision, you can choose to leave it or cancel and start all over loosing time and funds in the process. All the best Viceroy4: Wasn't stated. Just "I didn't meet up to the requirements "
Can I still cancel application at this time? Over two weeks after biometrics?? |

Hello, You can either do nothing and hope for the best or cancel/withdraw your application. Note because you have done your biometrics visa fees won't be refunded. What was the reason for your US refusal? Cheers Viceroy4: Good evening good people. Nice to be here.
I have a concern.
My wife is the principal applicant and we have two kids.
We did biometrics on d 5th of this month (may).
Concerns.
I forgot I had been rejected visa to the US some 5yrs ago and I didn't indicate it while filling my form.
Now it's two weeks down the line can I still retrieve my application Could this affect my wife(Principal applicant and the kids) if it does affect me
Kind advice plz. |

Hello, No,it won't affect your application, as long as the first and last name is correct you should be fine. Middle names are just optional, plus you have the affidavit/newspaper publication ( which is not necessary in my opinion) Going forward ensure your details are the same as it appears on your passport Cheers DamiVine: Hello guys, Really appreciate the good work being done here. Thank you so much @justwise and everyone.
I have an issue with name. My personal bank account has a different middle name from my international passport (which has same name as my school documents). Although I have an affidavit and newspaper publication to that effect, declaring I am the same person.
Will this affect me when I apply for Form A and show POF for visa?
If yes, what can I do to remedy this as I just got a conditional offer from RGU?
Thanks in advance for all the responses. |

Hello, No it won't raise a red flag and Yes she can carry her daughter along. For her daughter's application she should submit additional documents like birth certificate, her late father's death certificate which automatically gives you custody, in addition to maintenance funds (as usual) Because she is 17years, you have to proof that she is not leaving an independent life, see attached an evidence you can submit for this, if she lives with you,a letter from her college should suffice Once she turns 18, she is no longer minor and no longer your dependant Cheers Teeclassic01: Hi house. A sister intends to travel on students visa. She has two children in her current marriage and hopes to take them along. However, in her first marriage to her first husband who is now late, she had a daughter who is 17 years old now. Her daughter doesn't carry her current husband's name. And she intends to take this her daughter along as well. Will this raise a red flag? How can she go about it? Thanks.

Interesting, I knew that was the case during Covid, and didn't double check to see if that has changed, i guess I followed @gloriyah's earlier advise on 30day's vignette without confirming. Thanks for that correction. Anyway, back to the the OPs questions, it's still too early with 90days from August, that will be sometime in November, will it expire before or after her dependant finishes exams? It's up to the OP to decide. Safe to say, the same advise is valid Cheers Gigli: Entry Vignette for student visa as at January 2022 intake was 3 months...90days and no update or change to that yet |

Hello, Yes you can but the entry vignette (or stamp) will be for 30days (1month),unless you want him to abandon his A levels exams. My advise, apply when he has finished his exams in November and no you don't need to attach his exam details Cheers Iranoladun: Hello House,
I have been offered admission for September and intend to travel in August by GOd's grace but my son will be finishing his A'level (Cambridge) by November. Can I apply for his visa now at the same time that I'm applying for mine and then he travel to join me in November at the end of his exam?
If yes do I need to attached his A' level exam registration document or ordinary explanation in the application form suffice? He is a minor.
Your help will be appreciated. |

Hello, This again has been addressed before, she should apply with her maiden name. Marriage certificate and proof of relationship is important and should be submitted Cheers shady45: Hello guys,
Please does my wife need to have her name changed to my surname on her passport before we can apply for her as a dependant? Her current passport has her own name.
We just did the newspaper publication and affidavit for change of name, and national ID.
Why I asked this is because, the time taken to have a change of name on her passport is too long and we are getting close to visa application date.

The amount of money someone will save in a place like Leeds in comparison to London is no child’s play.. leave them to be saying go anywhere your husband wants. Hello,
Let me try to answer this.
1. Your IHS will be for a full year( if the applicants study is less than one year but more than 6months)
2. The maintenance fund for dependants will be £680 X 9months even when the course duration left is less than 6months
Cheers
quote author=femredhead post=112854702]
@Thank you Justwise.
But you didn't answer my questions, let me explain again.
The main applicant is already in UK spent close to 6months for a year course with visa validity of 16months.
According to the previous response to my question was that the dependant(s) must join 6months before the completion of 12months (excluding 4months additional time).
So,how do one calculate the IHS and maintenance fee? IHS for one year (£470) or 6months (£235)?
And maintenance fee, is it i.e £1,023 multiply by 6 or 9?
Have searched but not get the answer.
Thanks.[/quote] |

Hello, She ideally needs to present her bank statement showing the POF for her and dependants in the account for 28-30days. So if you haven't started counting please do so now, you can't apply for your visa until have fulfilled this condition.
