bimbor: I thought they said all applications on "blackmarket.apk" are free. The "amo navi x" app I saw there was $2.99 oh!!The price is there just for the record...it downloads free. P34c3 . |
Actually, the non-removable battery design is turning out to be an excellent feature: With appropriate software installed on an Android set or iPhone, the phone can always be tracked if misplaced or stolen, as long as the battery remains inside the phone! On phones with removable batteries, such a security feature is easily circumvented, starting with the removal of the battery. . P34c3 |
kemzykoko: Please wat is the code. I can't use etisalat cos the network is not strong where I stay. There are decent threads on here on the Airtel ish. I'll advice you to search for, and read, them. You'll also learn from the many who've "been there, done that." And, in the end, it will save you tons. P34c3 |
This, honestly, is the real bane of our society: The fact that even an ordinary corporation can so brazenly dip hands into our nation's earnings - illegally and unauthorized! And, in all of this, the supervising minister of the economy, who should know what is & where our common wealth is coming from - and properly manage it - is playing the ostrich. With such lack of a governance structure, this government has essentially broken down, truth be told. P34c3 |

The Supreme Court, in this judgement, did NOT say that Thief Bode George didn't commit the clearly evil act of contract splitting, just that it wasn't yet a crime at the time. Big difference. Nemesis - and Karma - will still catch up with him (TBG) & his ilk, & help us sanitize our society, God willing. P34c3 |

hariorh: Dear Customer,Your subscription to the etisalat Blackberry service has expired and account suspended. Please recharge to continueThat message is for the 1-day BIS subscription part ke, and should have been expected. You could opt out of it if you like and willing to take the risk, which I suppose should be very little. P34c3 |
oineoma: Guy, thats simple na. Telecom peeps can generate ur digits simply..Ol'boy, be a man... just admit you goofed with your FALSE title, lame analysis, & funny conspiracy theory. Don't be unnecessarily stubborn - change your topic (at least turn it into a question/enquiry,) - apologize to the ISP's you rubbished, and move on. Just my two kobo. P34c3 |

Mc Stoic: To all those showing their skills in insolence, its not my plan to tamper with the umbilical cord of dementia flowing through your beings. Nairaland makes a toddler insult his uncle so feel free to indulge yourselves. @ Obeenah, my brother the thing tire me o. I tried the 499 code and I was given a different data plan that's why am seeking for clarifications o. All the posts I have read, including the one I used for my trial gives differing codes. So you mean you couldn't even think to just check for the correct codes directly from the Etisalat website by yourself? The fact is that you're the type that over-analyses, and so gets confused with information from different threads. Honestly, this means that you'll soon get conflicting information from responses on this your thread as well. The codes were put out there by Etisalat for use by the public. They're NOT cheats, & people have not invented new codes, they just learnt to mix & match some of the codes to serve particular purposes. Morals of the story: Don't always think in terms of conspiracy theories, or that someone there is out to get you. Keep your mind very simple. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill! And always look for the easiest, most straightforward solutions. Good luck. ![]() P34c3 |
@OP; You wrote your title as if you had an irrefutable source or proof of your "claim." Turns out you're simply speculating. And, what's so special about, or worthy of emulation of, Airtel that other networks would care to gang up against Airtel? In any case, you're over-reaching with your generalization, because, for one, Glo BIS does NOT work on non-BB devices as at this moment, neither does that from MTN. Bottom line: I don't believe you have reasons to trash the reputations of some random networks over this matter. I'm not holding brief & don't work for any of them, but your action is simply unfair. fr3do: Smart AlecThank you; not to speak of the FACT that it was truly & totally unlimited until just a couple of months ago when the "you've passed the '3gb' fair use threshold" throttling thingy began. On the other hand, Zain was insisting to customers & openly advertising that its BIS bandwidth was unlimited, while hiding the FACT that it's been 1gb - later became 2gb, IIRC - all along. Talk of a cunning, typical Indian man business mentality ISP. ![]() P34c3 |
Deblow: I hate this guy's guts! He talked as if he owned Nigeria! Sheer arrogance and loads of disrespect to those whose monies pay your salary! Any fault of urs? Nay! We have an insensitive government in this country so, network providers like Airtel and others can choose to hold subscribers in servitude. If not, this charlatan in the garb of a lousy customer care agent wouldn't have come here to insult the sensibilities of multitudes of subscribers just because he can speak some grammar. He bluffed too much for my liking! U claimed u did ur survey or whatever before coming out with this obnoxious transfer and u concluded it wasn't going to have any negative effects on ur subscriber base! How naive and be clouded ur sense of reasoning are! You tried, albeit in an infantile fashion, to compare ur moribund Airtel to MTN that has remained so stable and has stood the test of time. Recall how many times Airtel had been sold over each time with a change of name and yet it's still struggling to survive? I don't and won't ever use Airtel sim for anything. For ur information, the worst MTN signal is better than the best Airtel signal and so it is all over the country. A yoruba adage will say "A nroju j'eko obun, obun tun nda eko e kere" meaning we are forcing ourselves to eat the pap made by a dirty woman, yet, she makes it expensive! If truly u are a CCA, then you are a bad one and a good example of how not to be a CCA. Pple like u will bring misfortune to the organisations u represent because u don't know how to appeal to the sensibilities of subscribers who indirectly put food on ur table. If Airtel is sold again, you are doomed! My thoughts, exactly, thank you for articulating it so well! The OP is an arrogant, uncouth S.O.B. Why the folk would ever think he/she could ever be a communicator, beats me. And the bloke did not even address the key issue: Why would Airtel want to suddenly and conveniently move their BB service out of class 10? What IS Airtel hiding? SMH. P34c3 |

Donaeo: ... @Oluboyo 6 inch is correct english. That's not correct, sir. You either write "... It's a 6-inch device..." (note how the two parts are joined with a dash,) or you write "... The device is 6 inches in size/length..." P34c3 |
Thanks for the post, @OP. The phone appears beautiful; but only 1 GB of. RAM for 40-50k in this 2014 model year? And no disclosure as to the quality & resolution of the screen? Particularly its dpi? To me, that's the most important attribute I pay attention to, especially on a screen size this big. After all, on a smart phone, the screen is what I interact with more than 90% of the time. Thanks again. P34c3 |
Mahdtoy: Please is anybody know how to upgrade Techno phone to latest android is.Since your friend already did it, ask him how, where, when, and by whom it was done. You can then share the information here. P34c3 . |

@ninja, just type your query into Google nah, and you'll get all the opinions you need, including the ones originating from here. On the second part of your post: If i understand the OP very well, your original OS remains, of course, even after installing Android OS JB. Then you can choose which of the two to run at boot up, for that session. I'm sure of this by proxy, because I already operate a dual boot Win8-Ubuntu lappy. Good luck. P34c3 |
Thanks, @OP, for outing this method here; much appreciated. It's a perfect solution for getting the Android OS/environment to run properly on machines - mostly netbooks - equipped with less than 2 GB of RAM. Even ordinary pseudo Android environments/simulators, such as Bluestacks and WindowsAndroid, require a minimum of 2 GB of RAM to install/run on a PC. It also means that one can go ahead, dust up an old machine with, say, 512 MB of RAM, and use it as an Android OS platform... I guess it should be getting more clear now, that OS'es/systems based on UNIX/Linux, such as Mac OS X, Android, Ubuntu, and BlackBerry OS 10, are taking over the world. ![]() P34c3 |
