Nigerian actress, Charity Eke popularly known as Chacha Eke Faani has shared via her Instagram page what wives should do to their husband if they want more of something.

The mother of four saw today as a good day to educate wives, then went ahead to share ten things to do if they want more.

She wrote,

“1. If you want your husband to make love to you often, have a good attitude. No matter how sexy you look or dress, your husband will not find you attractive if you have a bad attitude.

2. If you want your husband to be eating with you, be pleasant to be around. No matter how tasty your food, it loses taste when being around you is stressful.

3. If you want your husband to be opening up to you sensitive and difficult information, learn to keep secrets and not to overreact. A man refrains from sharing too much when he is scared information will be leaked or be misinterpreted.

4. If you want your husband to be taking you out often, stop bringing drama and ruining dates with issues that should be dealt with at home. No man wants to go spend time and money at a venue where he will be emotionally drained.

5. If you want your husband to solve the issues in your marriage, stop seeing yourself as the angel and him the devil, stop attacking him or labelling him as “The agent the devil is using to ruin your marriage”. 6. If you want your husband to come home early, be peaceful. The wife tends to own the home and so can easily make the husband keep off if she becomes harsh, uninviting and combative.

7. If you want your husband to be chatting with you and calling you up, be fun to talk to, make him miss you. If each time he calls you or chats you up it ends up with you starting a fight, reminding him of his wrongs or ordering him around he will avoid communication with you.

8. If you want your husband to receive your suggestions and corrections then speak to him with a tone of love. If you come at him shouting, dictating at him or manipulating him he will harden up.

9. If you want your husband to enjoy kissing you, then speak loving words, be gentle, be easy to talk to. Lips that speak words that hurt are not attractive to kiss.

10. If you want your husband to do more sweet, romantic and special things; appreciate the little he does and he will do more. Complaining never inspires a man to do better but appreciation does.”

The BBC reveals how the late megachurch leader TB Joshua, who is accused of committing sexual crimes on a mass scale, locked up his own daughter and tortured her for years before leaving her homeless on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria.

"My dad had fear, constant fear. He was very afraid that someone would speak up," says one of the pastor's daughters, Ajoke - one of the first whistle-blowers to reach out to the BBC about the abuse she witnessed at her father's church, the Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan).

TB Joshua, who died in 2021 at the age of 57, is accused of widespread abuse and torture spanning almost 20 years.

Now aged 27, Ajoke lives in hiding and has dropped her surname "Joshua" - the BBC is not publishing her new name.

Little is known about Ajoke's birth mother, who was believed to be one of TB Joshua's congregants. Ajoke says she was raised by Evelyn, Joshua's widow, from as early as she can remember.

Until the age of seven, Ajoke says she had a very happy childhood, going on holiday with the Joshua family to places like Dubai.

But one day everything changed. She was suspended from school for a misdemeanour, and a local journalist wrote an article referring to her as the illegitimate child of TB Joshua. She was pulled out of school and taken to the Scoan compound in Lagos.

"I was made to move to the disciples' room. I didn't volunteer to be a disciple. I was made to join," she says.

The disciples were an elite group of dedicated followers who served TB Joshua and lived with him inside the maze-like structure of the church. They came from all over the world, many staying at the compound for decades.

They lived under a strict set of rules: forbidden to sleep for more than a few hours at a time, prohibited from using their own phones or having access to their personal emails, and forced to call TB Joshua "Daddy".

"The disciples were both brainwashed and enablers. Everybody was just acting based on command - like zombies. Nobody was questioning anything," she says.

Just a child, Ajoke would not follow the rules like the other disciples: she refused to stand up when the pastor came into the room and rebelled against the severe sleeping orders.

The abuse started soon after.

Not long after arriving, aged seven, she remembers being beaten for wetting the bed and then being forced to walk around the compound with a sign around her neck saying "I am a bedwetter."

"The message about Ajoke was that she had terrible evil spirits that needed to be driven out," says one former female disciple.

"There was a time in the disciple meetings - he [Joshua] said people could beat her. Anyone in the female dormitory could just hit her and I remember just seeing people slapping her as they walked past," she says.

From the moment Ajoke moved to the church in the Ikotun neighbourhood of Lagos, she was treated like an outcast.

"She was, like, kind of labelled the black sheep of the family," says Rae, from the UK, who spent 12 years living in the church as a disciple. Like most of the former disciples interviewed by the BBC, she opted to only use her first name.

Rae remembers a time when Ajoke slept for too long, and Joshua shouted at her to get up.

Another disciple took her to the shower and "whipped her with an electrical cord and then turned the hot water on", she says.

Recalling the incident, Ajoke says: "I was screaming at the top of my voice, and they just let the water run on my head for a very long time."

Such abuse was never-ending, she says.

"We're talking about years and years of abuse. Consistent abuse. My existence as a child from another mother undermined everything he [TB Joshua] claimed to stand for."

The abuse escalated to a different scale when she was aged 17 and confronted her dad about "accounts, first hand, of people who had experienced sexual abuse".

An American lady has been left shattered and heartbroken after her partner intentionally infected her with the deadly virus, HIV.

A Nigerian man identified as Ugwu Amoke stirs controversy with a claim on polygamy, stating it as a man’s biological right.

The Facebook user asserted that polygamy is a priority for men and maintained that a man doesn’t require his wife’s approval to marry another woman.

Amoke suggested that it’s sufficient for a man to inform his wife, provided she is respectful, but if not, he should simply go through with the decision.

U.S Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin has been hospitalised since the first day of 2024, and Pentagon officials have avoided saying why he went to the hospital.

They have also not said when he will be released.

According to Fox News, Austin was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last Monday, for what Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder described as complications from an elective medical procedure.

On Sunday, Ryder told Fox News that Austin had an elective medical procedure at Walter Reed on December 22, 2023. Austin was on leave at the time of the procedure, and he returned home the next day.

But on January 1, he started experiencing "severe pain," and was taken back to Walter Reed and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Ryder said Austin was placed in the ICU to ensure immediate access to his medical needs, but he remained there, in part, because of privacy and hospital space considerations.

Ryder told Fox News he could not provide additional information about Austin’s ailments for privacy reasons.

On Friday, Austin resumed his duties from the hospital, and according to Ryder, he is recovering well and is in good spirits.

"Since resuming his duties on Friday evening, the Secretary has received operational updates and has provided necessary guidance to his team," Ryder said. "He has full access to required communications capabilities and continues to monitor DoD’s day-to-day operations worldwide."

Ryder added that Austin spoke with President Joe Biden on Saturday and has been in contact with Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr. and his senior staff.

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to lament because she claims her husband is overreacting to paternity fraud as he discovers their five-year-old is not his and now demands a divorce.

She disclosed that they had been married for six years and he recently discovered that he was not the biological father of their five-year-old first child.

The woman said that her husband had been told by a friend that the kid was not his, so he had a DNA test, the results of which validated his suspicions.

She wants her husband to just accept their baby since she thinks he is overreacting to the paternity fraud and the child is still the same regardless of the results of the DNA test.

A Germany-based Catholic Priest has challenged singer Chidinma Ekile after she claimed that she was born blind but regained her sight following her mother’s prayers.

Recall that Chidinma, who quit secular music to become a gospel artist in 2021, disclosed this in a video on her YouTube page in May 2023.In response, Rev. Father Angelo Chidi Unegbu requested the singer to provide evidence supporting her claims of being born blind and later regaining her sight.

Taking to Facebook, the clergyman urged her to share details of the hospital of her birth, the names of the doctors who confirmed her blind, and whether she sought medical verification after recovering her sight.

According to him, he would like to send a team to the hospital for investigation and possibly interview the doctors and her mother.

He explained that his request is line with his recent initiative to scrutinize cases where individuals claim to have regained their sight in church.

Father Angelo wrote,

Dear Ms. Chidinma Ekile, I saw your video where you told the world that you were born blind but later received your sight when your mother went on her knees to God in prayer. To convince the doubting Thomases, I will please request that you give us permission to interview your mother, the hospital where you were born, the name and address of the hospital, and the doctor or doctors that confirmed you blind after birth and the cause of the blindness. We would also like to know whether you went back to the hospital or went to a doctor or doctors that confirmed you were blind after receiving your sight. If yes, may we know them as well? Former President Bill Clinton, identified as "Doe 36," is mentioned in over 50 redacted filings, but Giuffre has not made any allegations of wrongdoing against him. Flight logs indicate Clinton's extensive travel on Epstein's plane to various destinations after leaving office in 2001.

The boldface names that emerged included the director of the CIA, William Burns, and Kathryn Ruemmler, White House counsel under Barack Obama, alongside lesser figures including the leftwing professor and activist Noam Chomsky, billionaire venture capitalist Reid Hoffman and Lawrence Summers, former Harvard president and director of the National Economic Council under Obama.

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, yesterday said Edison Ehie resigned from the House of Assembly for the sake of peace.
Ehie was the leader of four members of the House that identified with Fubara during the crisis.

The NationOnline notes that He quit his position as a member representing Ahoada-East Constituency II, notifying the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in a December 29 letter.

Addressing dignitaries including former Governor Peter Odili and his wife, Mary, at the first state banquet he hosted at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday night, Fubara said Ehie’s resignation indicated the extent he could go to achieve peace in Rivers.

Referring to Ehie as the immediate past Speaker, Fubara said: “Most of you were worried why the Speaker resigned. It is to tell you what we can do for peace.

“It is not about what we want to gain. It is not about the power we want to exercise. But at the end of the day, ask what are we leaving for our people.

“So, we took those decisions, not out of fear, but because at the end of the day when we leave here, we want you to remember us not as leaders with fear but remember us for our simplicity, our care, that we are prepared to give in anything for the interest of our dear state.”


The governor said he never wanted to speak on the matter but decided otherwise because of what he read somewhere.

He insisted that all the decisions he took were not borne out of fear, but were compelled by the state’s interest and respect for elders.

The governor, whose speech intermittently drew applause from the crowd, said though everyone would not like the content of the peace agreement, it was in his place as a leader to enforce it.

Fubara insisted that he would not like to be involved in any dirty political fight because of its negative implications for peace and development.

Fubara said: “I had planned not to say anything this night. I have said too much already. But I read something and it will be improper if I don’t, at least, respond to it on a special day like this.

“First, let me wish every one of you or all of us that are here a very fruitful and prosperous new year.

“This is because every decision that we have taken is not borne out of fear but because we have the interest of our people in mind and we have respect for elders.

“The president requested that we do certain things. In as much as it might not be very comfortable with everyone here, it is the place of the leader to say let us go along with it. Because if we don’t have peace in the state, there won’t be that meaningful development that we desire.

“So, I’m speaking to everyone, let us embrace the peace. We need this peace because our intention for our state is not because of our interest, it is for the interest of everyone; the interest for the development of our state.

“So, when we were faced with this type of situation, we considered the actions and reactions, who is going to suffer, Fubara will not suffer, I can assure you that. But one million supporters will suffer.

“So, those decisions are decisions we took because we want you to feel you’re with me. We want you to see me as your governor and be happy.”

On why the state hosted the banquet, the governor said: “So, our new year message to our dear State, and more especially this our first inaugural banquet is to show that the government is alive.

“I want to leave you with only this message. We will not disappoint you. We, also, will not be involved in any dirty fighting because we know that we are going to be the losers.

“The year 2024 is for all of us. If I could survive, you that don’t have any problems, you’ll survive better than me.

“So, I am wishing every one of us here a fruitful and prosperous 2024 to the glory of God.”

Tinubu, in his nationwide broadcast to Nigerians on Monday, urged the citizens not to falter despite the tough times and difficulties they face.

A Nigerian man has become homeless in the UK after he confronted his wife for sleeping with her female best friend on their matrimonial bed.

The tweep who shared the incident on X, revealed that the wife had been secretly planning for her friend to come join her in the UK.

Narrating the heart-wrenching incident, he wrote;

“A man and his wife were able to secure UK VISA for themselves and their 3 children. It was a dream come true for them as they had been working on it for a very long time. They got to UK in 2022. The wife secretly started preparing documents for her friend from Oshogbo . She eventually went over to UK to join them. She started calling him inconsiderate . Subsequent unfolding of events made the man grow even more suspicious. He installed spy cameras in his bedroom and realized that his dear wife was sleeping with her friend on his matrimonial bed . He couldn’t believe his eyes. He accosted her and she finally openly admitted that she is in love with the friend and wanted to be with her. It lead to a physical altercation and the police threw the man out The man became homeless in UK as at 15th December, 2023.”

Suzanne Emma, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Emeka Ike, has responded to her ex-husband’s recent claims that her allegations of domestic violence against him were false and led to significant losses on his part.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Emma maintained that Ike had subjected her to abuse throughout their 17-year marriage. She recounted a specific incident at the hospital when their child was seriously ill, describing how Ike verbally berated her and physically assaulted her.

“There was a time we went to the hospital; my child was sick. We didn’t have money. And I was trying to negotiate with the hospital to treat the child, and we would pay later. It was taking a little bit of time, and he [Emeka Ike] just came in and started yelling at me, ‘You’re a fool. You don’t know how to do things. What’s all this? You can’t even talk to them. Who are they? They’re beneath you, and you’re allowing them to do this and all that.’

“And I got upset and said, ‘Sir, why are you being a jerk?’ And I went off into the car to sit down. Immediately he [Emeka Ike] was coming into the car; his punch was the first thing that I was seeing on my jaw.”

DAILY POST recalls that a Lagos Island Customary Court dissolved the marriage between Emeka Ike and his wife in 2017 due to incessant battery. Emma had approached the court on July 13, 2015, seeking to dissolve the 14-year-old marriage with the Nollywood actor.

Following the news Emeka Ike responded by saying that he has moved on with life and has, in fact, gotten married to a South African. During an interview on TVC, he warned his ex-wife not to come and talk thrashly about him because he was willing to dig deeper if she ever did.
