The minister himself is clueless. What has knowing the 'terrain' got to do with flying an aircraft? Does he think the pilots fly based on what they can see or not see on the ground?? The pilot thought he was flying to Asaba, probably based on flight data given to him/her. He inputted the Asaba data into the aircraft as his destination and the flight correctly headed to and landed at Asaba. The mix up had nothing to do with the lease type. What would a Nigerian pilot have done differently in the same situation based on his understanding of the 'terrain'?
Whoever provided incorrect flight data to the pilot should be identified and sanctioned. The procedure that made the error possible should
be reviewed to avoid reoccurrence. Simple!

You clearly know nothing about foreign investors. These people have analysts whose fulltime job is evaluating Nigeria. If the environment is right, investors will come. They don't need to hear from BAT or any politician. They have access to hard facts.
No credible foreign investor or tourist will go to where their governments have officially advised them against going, as they have done for most of Nigeria. Their insurance companies won't even cover such trips. Get the basics right and watch foreign investors flood in.

The truth is closer to the army killed an innocent man and framed him up as IPOB/ESN to cover their crime.

It happened near my village in 2021, the army came to arrest a guy who is a welder. He asked the soldiers why he's being arrested, the community gathered and all of a sudden, a soldier shot one of the villagers dead! Obviously, people took to their heels. Next we saw a few days later was a statement from the army saying they engaged IPOB/ESN is a shootout and killed one in the process. Guns and charms were paraded too. Meanwhile, nothing like that happened.
