Doctors and Medical Students, Which Nigerian university can one study mbbs in terms of school fees, easy admission, standard of teaching and learning facilities, good medical school, exposure to the use of modern and standard medical equipment, good teaching hospital, more practical-oriented rather than theory-based and recognition? Though,i initially choose medicine but to increase my chances i change 2 physiotherapy...wu knwz d course dat wil be advertise in coc?

Courses that are usually in COC form are those in the faculty of science, faculty of education, faculty of agriculture, wood product engineering, vet medicine and at times at least one course in the college of medicine will be available. Also pharmacy sometimes.

It is actually something painful and devastating to waste one's effort, energy and time without achieving what one has passion, zeal, interest in and always find joy in. I wouldn't like you to give up now or loss passion in that your dream course because it is not over until it is over. Actually, there is no great man that hasn't passed through failure in one way or the other. "No man has ever travelled the road of success without crossing the street of failure" and tough times they say it never last but tough people do. Don't quit now. Oga Nltaliban, thanks for this eye opener. Are you sure that one can now cross from one professional course to another professional course in UI? If this is true, don't you think it will be difficult to cross even after meeting the requirements considering the fact that other students will also have this in mind? I will like you to clear the ground on that crossing very well. How feasible it is, what requirements for it and other things on it.

Even though I am not given medicine. I will come back next year. I am just 5 points away from cut off. Even though I expected to score 90 in putme but my hope is dashed in big time. What a life! DrBESTJC, my situation is similar to yours. I just have to get a hold of myself and move on. While there is life, there is hope.

You can't matriculate twice in UI.

Although we were told during orientation that if you wish to apply to a another department in UI because you don't like your course.

You need to first terminate your admission, and then reapply through jamb.

If you apply and you already have an admission, they won't give you the admission even if you meet the cutoff.

NLC strike is starting today, and I don't know the possibility of cutoff mark faculty meeting taking place. You guyz might have to wait another weeks.

My opinion though.

If I am given a course in UI, can I pick UI again next year or not?

But I can't deny the fact that I have heard of many aggregate that are very scary.

But they can't be much, 145 slots is a wide gap.

The same scenario played last year, many high aggregate on nairaland, only for cutoff to be peg at 71.88%, and all mbbs aspirants on nairaland made the cutoff.

I pray it happens like that this year too.

UI should release the cut off marks oo. They should not give someone hypertension. Someone should know his fate so that he can know what next to do oo. They are always slow in their admission.

It is true, humans marking it will take time and can be error prone. The technology they make use of is OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets which captures the answer from the shaded sheets.

Last year results came out after three days I think, so very soon, you all will be able to access your results.

Yes, you are right, last year was four days after the exam.

ui will not kill me oo I’m thinking they should release it by 12 let’s all check.. But this is definitely getting odd tho.. It’s the 5th day already.. I hope none of us here would get our hearts broken when ui releases the results in Jesus name..

The number one virtue you must have as an aspirant of UI is patience. UI don't rush her admission process. You all should keep calm and pray, if possible fast for a good result. For one can't under-estimate the power of Prayer. May God help us all.

Care must be taken on the value of acceleration g u used. the value of g is 9.8 unless otherwise stated. while i was solving the practice questions yestda i encountered this question. pLS knw the different btw stationary and kinetic friction.
HERE the tfrictional force is the moving force Fm = umg
Fm = moving force, u is coff of friction, mg is normal reaction.
Know u = F/R = ma/mg =mv/t/mg
thus, back to the problem f =umg =0.02*15*9.8

yeah, you are right t is 1.4 sec v equals u+at which is 14+(9.8*1.4) which gives 27.7m/s will still go for C

But you can't just make assumption like that.

What about the speed given? Are we not going to use it in the calculation?
