first of all Charles Edosomwans’ motion is dated June 16 not June 1 and that was the same day the process was filed and served on EFCC..

Secondly the charge was defective for bearing Tony Anenihs name and we as defense have every right to object to a defective charge before taking our plea however court has ruled that we should take plea before objecting to the charge.

Finally we are now objecting to jurisdiction of the Federal High Court due to the fact that evidence in the matter shows that the monies were as a result of election brouhaha and not laundry as EFCC is making it seem and S.138 of the Electoral Act gives jurisdiction to only the State High Court or Magistrate Court to try offenses contrary to the above mentioned section and the EFCC can only prosecute the matter at the above mentioned courts, subject to INEC’s approval.

It’s dicey but keep your fingers crossed
