You may not like this madam ifyalways, but what is composure to a drowning man. By uploading my name on nairaland and the accusation attach to it, you have taken every ounce of Happiness away from me, and this made me to depend on people to be alive and happy as every atom of life in me has been taken over by depression. I can't be alone again without seriously thinking about it.

Madam ifyalways I mean no disrespect, because as a young boy in my mid 20s, I was taught to respect others, but in this case, it's better you point a gun to my head and kill me than for me to continue to live like this.

Why would my name be uploaded in nairaland for a crime I did not do? Did I kill or sold a fake product to anyone? why?

Over a hundred nairalanders were supported from that thread where you screenshot my name and bank details from, some got twice, I got twice too.

The people who supported those nairalander including myself did not do it because we told them a story or will you be kind enough to tell family landers the story I told them. Here is the thread https://www.nairaland.com/3210525/nigeria-finished-me
Madam are you sure you read through this thread before you screenshot my name and uploaded it in the thread I created seeking for help? Because If you do, you will understand that everyone is not as successful as you are, and some of us have seen hell in life whether you believe it or not. I have know what it's to lack, to be very broke, to go for days drinking only garri. I know it's easier to say I have not tried enough, but God knows I have done everything within my power that is legal to survive despite the pressures of life. What is my crime that my name will be uploaded for over a million members including guest to see in bad light?

Is It because I came to seek for help? I have helped others too with the little I can and they still keep coming back but I still give them.

Is it a crime to seek for help if one is in need?

This is not fair, and I want you to go through the thread from where you screenshot my name and see if you will not shed tears, people are suffering. Madam ifyalways my life is already very complicated as it's please don't make it worse I beg you. I'm already depressed by this and I fear for my heath and life.

The only story I have told about myself was on the thread I created Here https://www.nairaland.com/3345480/please-brother seeking for help before the accusation came, and whatever I said there is the truth, If I lied on that thread a bit, then may it not be well with me. I'm so sorry about this madam ifyalways, I have sent you mails before now, but time is not on my side.

Please I don't need financial help from here anymore and this is not to make you help me financially. All I need Is for my name to be taken down so that I can breath again and that is the only thing I need you to join me in asking.

May God bless us all.
And yet you felt entitled to come back for more - with a different handle.

Unrepentant scamming thief.

Lol.

This is what happens when guys get some loose coins and start chasing pretentious women, who only want to enjoy the goodies, for marriage. Any woman that wasn't there with you when you were shooting in the gym. But only came when you got that big contract, is only interested in the financial buffer you have to offer. And once it goes, she's definitely going to follow suit.

Funny story. The guy is a sucker. grin
Many of these guys bring it all upon themselves by believing Love = Money

It all depends on how they portray themselves during the dating stage. If they give the impression they've got bottomless pockets and feel the best way to get a girl is by flashing the cash, then they have no one but themselves to blame when things take a financial downturn and the lady walks out.

It's all about the standards set at the beginning.

You don't get, I started counting threads a while back bashing women or telling them to change for the better. Then I tried comparing it to threads extolling women. The ratio was 10: 0. Not one male moniker thought to say "hey, we have great women", it was all just insults and putting down in nasty and petty manner.

They don't even realise how bad is to constantly feed yourself negative ideas about a gender, it means when you eventually do get married, you will go in thinking it is a battlefield, that every little issue will become an avenue for a vicious fight. With that mindset, your marriage is dead on arrival. You cannot keep saying "she is evil and bad" and then think you will meet a pretty girl, marry her and one day NOT say the same thing about her. You are what you consume.

Do you know I met some guys on NL who are married and they said they're disgusted by Family section guys? I've met 3 now who call them small boys and one went to say I should stop coming to this section because my mind would be poisoned.
Case closed.

Why are you confused "like kilode"?

You don't sound very smart and I bet you don't work either.

You're a married woman, not a child. If you don't like your situation, you get the hell up and do something about it!

What are you doing to ensure your living situation becomes bearable? Do you lot contribute to the feeding and utilities (i.e. rent, petrol to run the gen, etc) or do you just sit there doing nothing but feeling entitled in another couple's home?

What are you doing to ensure you get your own place as soon as possible? Nothing?

Smh.

I weep for my generation, there is something fundamentally wrong with people these days. Recently, I heard that Gov. Serike of Bayelsa was blessed with 3 kids after years of delay. Yet he didnt throw away his wife. He stood by her side all the time.

You see, young ladies need to understand that being loyal is a virtue. Personally, I believe that marriage is for better or for worse. My late Grand father (Maternal Side) lost everything (houses, 5 cars in Kano) during the civil war. But I can tell you that by 1990, he has 5 cars and 2 houses. His wife stood by him for years, once he came back online he sent her on foreign trips -first to Jerusalem, then to the US. Now, that's what I call manning up...and repaying your woman for her loyalty.

I still dont know why people cant be sincere. Believe me, when you stand by your spouse when they are down, once they come back online things will be totally different. Recently a lady left her husband after he lost his job, just here -mid 2015. Now he just got a new job and relocated to the US, NOW SHE CANT BEG, SHE CANT TALK. SHE IS JUST MOPPING.....

Why is it so difficult for people to endure...just for a little while till things get better. Believe me no negative or bad situation is permanent.

Anyway, a word is enough for the wise. I
It works both ways.

Living in chronic poverty where gaining access to the very basics (food, clothing, shelter) isn't the exclusive preserve of the women folk.

No one here is saying don't stand by your partner when you hit a rough patch. What we're saying is: learn to appreciate your other half when they take on the added responsibility of running the home and bringing in the bacon.

There is nothing more depressing for a woman to work flat out just to keep the family afloat while the man does nothing to improve the situation. Thousands of women do it anyway but what adds pepper to the injury is when the man becomes obnoxious and makes an already difficult situation intolerable by making comments such as, "oh, shebi you've grown wings now because you're the sole earner..." or situations (like the @op's father) where the man gets too comfortable and doesn't see the need to get up and do something.

@op is getting a lot of stick because he endorses a slave mentality for women. Who wants to age before their time? For little to no appreciation with no thanks / acknowledgement.

Aaand back to sender.

You really shouldn't be this scared of spirits. At the very least they too were once like you. Its just that they are dead. Just like you and I and everyone else will be one day. At the very least you reside in the world of the living. You have more authority over them here.

Or are you just trying to be troublesome?
Lol! I'm not the one being pursued out of my room, am I?

You're busy measuring 30o focal point Eastwards, killing 13 cockroaches in one night at midnight, from under your mattress, etc... Why? What does that tell you? grin grin

FamilyRe: There's This Room In My House That Makes My Skin Crawl, What Could Be The Cause? by EfemenaXY:
Anyway @op, there's no point getting salty with me. You asked for help and I'm trying to do just that. You don't have to take my advice though.

Just one more thing:

You mentioned you live in delta state, so I'm presuming you're not too far from the rivers.

What you need to do is strip yourself stark nàkèd at midnight and proceed to the nearest river wearing nothing but a pair of white socks. Take with you a shiny new frying pan, balance it on your head and walk as slowly as you possibly can, to the river bank.

WARNING: Don't speak to anyone the minute you step out of your house.

When you get to the river, take the frying pan off your head. Place it gently on the ground and kneel before it. Then have a serious wànk and èjàcùlatè three times into the pan. Conjuring up images of Ogbanje might help you achieve this.

Once done, still kneeling, swirl the contents around three times before pouring it into the river while chanting these words out loudly, "Take me, o divine beauty!"...

Hmmm.

Let me tell u what I did .

I got angry/challenged after reading some of the stuff here and called up the scripture that says "He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world" and I went on to sleep in the room. (Cos I dont see why others would be sleeping in the room without issue and I can't). First night I finally slept off at 1.10am(last time I checked), woke 6am but I must admit I wasnt well rested, like I hadn't slept comfortably.

Second night I slept but didn't pray before sleeping . I actually slept more soundly and I woke up happy. Then for two nights I slept in my own room.

Third night was about sleeping when a cockroach ran across. I killed it with annoyance and said bring it on (in my mind lol, cos I know when I kill one I can end up killing up to 11 after which I will be thoroughly irritated). Lay on the bed and another cockroach crawled right in from of the bed. Got up and put on the light but didnt see it again so I fleeted the place where I that it had went. Later heard some noise on the other sielde o the room and went there, killed another cockroach. Finally went to sleep.
I hope you realise you're meddling with a potentially dangerous entity?

So far it's surprisingly been very patient with you - but only for so long.

It's already started. Five years ago.

He's admitted to having frightening, incomprehensible dreams. Resisting the inevitable is futile. He, is the chosen one.

Simply call a Pastor and his prayer warriors to cleanse the house, that's all..
Wrong, risky, move.

That thing means business and isn't joking.

No need mixing with the dead and finding out how they were killed..

Of what relevance are boundaries to the living undead??

Let's assume she's right, just an assumption (which am not in support of) and u find out who the killers are..
What will you do about it? Call Nigerian police? To solve which case? And what year did the murder take place?
First things first.

When the time comes he'll be directed on how to seek justice on its behalf.

You must be joking, thinking that the only critical situation is all about money. You are really lost with the society. I will never do any of those jobs, you mention in my current situation since there are some better option available. Check around your environment and even in your extended, you will notice that there are people in Critical situation that still browse online.
Then your situation isn't critical.

Critical = desperate = no choice.

Depending on your critical situation, I know of some people, that were out of cash, yet till find time to come online and were rewarded(not cash oh) or don't you know that practically all multinational company advertise their jobs online, Some people have even gotten job on this platform. In the case of this man, it is wrong as is own critical situation is different from mine as he should have immediately seek assistant from family and friend.

Is it that easy to go out and get a good job? So do you think, it is everybody that are strong enough for the street hustle. You will never understand. check my second post where I blasted the poster, the truth is, it is wrong to come online and start begging. what attracted me to this post was Annabel comment, which I commented immediately before reading the man cock and bull story. The man is a cheat, looking at the time he created this account and what he has been doing online.
People in "critical" situations don't come online refreshing threads without an ulterior motive.

People in "critical" situations don't beg and borrow money to buy data and come online.

People in "critical" situations use the little they have to buy food for their kids.

People in "critical" situations are too busy knocking on doors and networking with real people for jobs. ANY jobs.

And yes, despite the recession, there are jobs out there if you get off your high horse and knuckle down to do them. Wheelbarrow pushers at the market, bus conductors, waiters/kitchen assistants at Aunty Bola / Mama Ngozi's bukka, etc. Are those not jobs?

Oyeburu (pit latrine cleaners) work - no be work too? Mortuary assistants nko?

Let me get this straight:

So when you find yourself in a "critical" situation, your "critical priority" is to come online (Nairaland ?) to do what exactly?

Going out to hustle like a real man looking for any real jobs isn't critical?
