Actually, it was mostly my money then. The little borrowed were paid back by moi even before the breakup. Guy knew how to catch me, he would bring on the poppy eyes to borrow and bring on the vampires eyes when I ask for refund. Hmmm, at a point, he was the custodian of my ATM o. I wasn't stupid, I wasn't even in love, I was just being kind cos the moraaaforrker was always giving me pocket money while I was in school. I didn't let him go like that.. I went to his church with one of those Fadeyi boys seized his brand new gen and come to think I didn't even know a bought a new 4.5kv gen. During the months he was owing me. U see how wicked he is?.
Some church workers wanted to stop us but when they saw my angry face and the bloodshot eyes of the Fadeyi guy.. Everyone kept clear. We left his church in disarray and we left with the gen..
He then called me and asked why did I do not such thing.. I told him he's sick in the head and that I will sell the general and there is nothing he can do about it.. And also need the balance 100k.. He was then screaming on the phone. I cut the call.
A friend of his came to meet me, pleading I should let go of the gen and the money.. I said never! He said because the pastor is placing curse on himself not me

I laughed, and him place curse on me? OK we will see who be cursed at the end.
After selling the gen.. I paid off the rest balance and I was like let's see who curse will attack.. Useless thing.
After likea month and half, later I heard he was hospitalized and he has kidney failure and also liver failure.. I was like WTF! I heard prayer warriors in his church were praying for him thinking it was an attack but ol boi, prayers didn't help, Nada..
When his condition. Was becoming serious and he was swelling up in church. They later rushed him to hospital.. Well he gave up the ghost there. I was like wow.

Anyways have moved on.. Wherever he is, may his soul rest in peace. Amen

Good morning Nairalanders! My name is Wale. Please I have been battling with a problem for a very long time now. I will be precise as much as possible. It all happen about 2 years ago, I had an accident in my left hand side which leads to serious damage in the affected hand, my skin meat was cut off including veins. I was rushed to a hospital immediately and the doctor in charge of the hospital attended to the injury. It was later the affected part started swelling up and bringing out pose. I have used different types of antibiotics and it will relief me a bit, it will later resurfaced and I will use antibiotics over and over again till this time. But now the drugs are not working anymore. I have to lodge complains in the hospital and series of test were carried out including X-ray, wound test and some other tests. The orthopaedic department confirmed that it was Lipoma ( of which I don't know the meaning of it) that it didn't affect my bone. I was told they will have to reopen the wound and clean it up again and it will cost N32,500 but I will still buy some drugs which would gulp up to another N7,000. Right now all Nairalanders, I have spent a lot on antibiotics and tests. Please I need your help, as at now am going through pains in the hand, it keeps swelling up everyday and bringing out pose every minutes. To all well to do Nigerians and Nairalanders please I need your help to finance the hospital bills as my life is at risk. Please come to my help. Please I call on all the mods to help me move this to the front page. Thanks

Cause no one was ready to help him with the cash, he nearly knelt down... I said pls o, don't kneel down it has not gotten to that yet, pls.. I felt for him and I went to my friends to borrow money and gave him, hoping he will pay me back at the stipulated time.. I called the Pastor, how far ? He was given me stories ..i was so angry but I controlled it and he promised a month later.. A month ran into months.. Good question. Not every relationship leads to marriage. She was a good girl no doubt, but our priorities were different. After NYSC, I wanted to further my education. I got a scholarship for my masters while she wanted to settle down. As a young guy, I didn't even want to hear marriage. I was like no money, no job. My Msc took me away from her. Even after MSc, I still wasn't ready for anything marriage. I wanted to hustle, get a job, work for while before thinking of settling down. She was a little older than me. I was 22 then I think, and she was 25. I didn't care about the age difference trust me. After a while, we kept in touch, and distance took its tolls on our relationship. We stopped talking gradually and then it was obvious to both of us that the relationship has hit a rock bottom.
Am I happy to write this? Hell No! We both learnt our lessons. Relationship transcends beyond love and affection. The terms of the relationship must be defined from the very outset. Find out what are your plans? Are your plans in resonance frequency? Are your priorities the same? is the age gap appropriate? etc
As someone who doesn't bite the hands that feed, I reciprocate all her good deeds in extreme measures. We jammed once again in lag, both I already had another gf with a level of committment. we became friends again, reunited and reminisced about the good old days. She was still unemployed and her beauty has declined (she's still beautiful though) but one could tell that hardship and depression had taken its tolls on her due to her unemployment status. she's working now though but with little pay. I helped her in my own little way and gave her some amount of money to start something. I also bought her a phone recently when I noticed her phone was in bad shape.
I ain't trying to paint myself as an angel, but what I do know about myself is that i made mistakes but I did a lot to make up for them.

Re the bolded: You're absolutely right. A lot of relationships hit the rocks quite early because the essentials were never discussed in detail and differences ironed out.

Although age is just a number as the saying goes, the reality is: she was ready to settle much, much earlier than you were prepared to...which is quite common in relationships where the age gap is very close, and even more so where the female is older than the male, as was in your case.

When you meet women looking for meal tickets (most of the women who're like that don't even hide it) and the reason why they're with you is basically cos you can provide/give them what they want.
