I have seen pictures online of Itsekiris wearing the traditional
Yoruba attire in the Ugborodo [Escravos] axis, in addition to the Itsekiri
traditional attire of George wrapper which the Itsekiris first introduced
into the Niger Delta.

Maybe because Ugborodo is closer in location to the Ilaje axis of
Ondo State where they originally migrated from over 500 years ago
from Ugbo [Ilaje axis] to Ugborodo in Itsekiriland of today.

You are actually correct, those from Escravos migrated from ilaje, politics aside you can't really differentiate ilaje from itsekiri , but I haven't seen itsekiri dress in Yoruba attires (I may be wrong). The Fregene's I know are not from that axis, they are from Warri south.

How the Urhobos are politically sidelined in the affairs of Delta South should be a major concern for us all, may I state categorically that the Urhobos occupy a huge part of Warri south which is densely populated and a major hub in Delta state, The areas occupied by the Urhobos can't be easily ignored, as such the Urhobos are also a major Stakeholder in that region, if they know they can't recognize the presence of our people there, then they should zone Warri south to delta central, so they our people can be represented equally, they keep talking about the 3I’s, I sincerely don’t know where the Urhobos of Warri fall into.

Igbos are not the closest relatives to the Urhobos, the only ethnic groups that are related to the Urhobos in Nigeria are; Edo, Itsekiri, Isoko and ijaw.

If there is any major ethnic group in Nigeria that should even claim relations with the ethnic groups occupying the oil city of warri, then it should be Edo and probably Yoruba, but not igbo, no ethnic group in that City shares anything whatsoever with igbos.
