I have observed that some Nigerians have the culture of seeking avenues to work less and make more money. Some do not see anything wrong in sitting down at home while their bank accounts are filled up with cash that is not due to work, enterprise or exchange... I hired a writer to do the first two chapters of a thesis for 10k for the space of a week. This writer did not only ask for a 100% raise but he simply plagiarized the works of other authors and submitted it a week later to give me the impression that he has been working...This was after i had pleaded with him to minimize the degree of plagiarism and note that i had a deadline to meet. This attitude of working less and getting paid even more is in schools, markets and even the church...Most Nigerians find it easy to cast aspersions on politicians for their kleptomanic tendencies but they are no less kleptomanic as they seek to reap not just where they did not sow but where there is nothing to be sown or reaped they still want to reap! Nigerians with this attitude are the reason Nigeria is where it is today... |
horlawharley:I read ehn, i read the detriment of my grades. i read beyond the limits of the course outline and even now there is still a lot for me to learn...and even as at now i know i'm not yet ready for a standard PhD program. My degree of mathematical sophistication is poor and my econometrics is rusty and basic. After schooling in two Federal Universities, i am sorely disappointed in the academia in this country! |
stephano100:No! Twas my MSc i did there... |
Jay542:smart jay, if al it takes is determination to change behavior then we would have had fewer psychiatric patients, fewer scandals in church and secular world and even fewer divorces...Try advicing a mad man on the street to be determined! If this thread is useless to you, which is your opinion, then create a useful thread or simply stop commenting...some others find this thread important! |
I need responses from men and women who are sexually experienced but have been able to abstain...I just want to know how those that abstain do it for such long periods of time without resorting to masturbation or porn when sexual urge comes! |
4Qbitch:your moniker does not depict you as someone with godly communication but that is by the way...I wana ask, from a sincere heart, how do you cope with sexual urges when it comes. What do you do when your whole body is enmeshed in this feeling of intense desire to have sex? Please i need your sincere response! |
Appliedmaths:Powers that be? Ordinary Nigerians are the reason the educational system is not working in Nigeria...Nigerian Universities today are no where close in academic quality to the schools in the era of Aristotle and Socrates when there were no modern laboratories, no huge building, no infrastructure...Ordinary Nigerians are the reason for the failure of Nigeria. If the primary, secondary and tertiary institution personnel all did the jobs for which they are paid Nigeria would be a better place...However Nigerians do not want to work at all, yet they want billions of naira over night. This is why we have strike after strike yet lecturers do little or nothing towards building the youths of our time... If Aristotle, Socrates, Pythagoras, Leucipus, Anaximander, Plato and the likes all waited to be paid before they rendered the services they rendered would knowledge have developed to the point it has today... |
Can you imagine that the lecturer who taught me econometrics at UNIBEN, billed me and my classmates 10,000 naira to assist us in estimating econometric models...meaning he knew he did not teach us enough to be able to do it ourselves and guess what, those who did not pay the said fee but went ahead to seek alternative means of estimating their econometric models were deemed not to have submitted their assignments, though they did submit, and they were awarded Fs in the course... I have known for some time that the worst sets of people in this country are not politicians...but these corrupt teachers, lecturers and school administrators! They forget that the educational institution is the bedrock of every other institution and if the educational institution fails, all other institutions will fail...We have corrupt politicians, corrupt husbands, corrupt wives, corrupt pastors, violent muslims, delinquent childen and irresponsible adults because the institution of the school, where minds are shaped, failed and failed woefully! |
Appliedmaths:It then makes me ask the question: of what use is our educational system, if it cannot train people to take up meaningful roles in the society? Is it not better we shut these certificate production and sales centres and build real schools? |
Tizzyreal:Hi Tizzyreal, are you still available to help me in my research. I need a literature review done in less than 2 days. I hired someone via this medium to do this for me but unfortunately the person wasn't up to the task. Please can you handle the task. I need a literature review done on or before Tuesday. I will send you a detailed guideline on how the literature review must be conducted. Please contact me immediately if you are interested. Thanks! |
Appliedmaths:True, Economics is practical, but Economics as taught in Nigerian universities is disconnected from the realities of the Nigerian economy. I did my MSc at UNIBEN and i am amazed to find that MV=PT, Irving Fischer's truism, that was taught in 100l, 200l, 300l and annoyingly 400l was also taught in monetary economics class at the 800l. Isn't that amazingly absurd! Corporate Finance, a close cousin of Financial Economics, is also taught at UNIBEN and sadly students in that class cannot use spreadsheet packages, do not know key central bank terminologies, cannot decipher the current trend in central banking and commercial banking in Nigeria and offer useful criticisms, don't know the current targeting paradigm of the CBN and are largely disconnected from the core their discipline... I felt UNIBEN would even measure up in the teaching of Econometrics but sadly i was sorely disappointed as the training i got was the standard 300l training I got in my undergraduate days. The average MSc/PhD graduate in Economics at UNIBEN can hardly handle such econometric methods as: ARIMA, SVAR, SVEC, FAVAR, TVAR, TSVAR, PVAR, GMM, WLS, SEM and the more recent DSGE Modeling. My claims may appear outrageous but i enjoin you to make your investigation before pouring your money into an education that is not really education...but just a certificate accumulation exercise! |
Truckload of motivational crap!!! You are either born rich or born struggling...First conditions matter a lot! In a country where we say there are no jobs, some young under 20 graduates are getting jobs as soon as they leave school while many who burnt the midnight candle, developed themselves and are doing what they can to break out of lack are still struggling. Why? One of the reasons is that they come from well placed families in the social strata. Time and chance happens to us all...You can follow all the motivational theories, that's what they are 'theories', and still be as poor as you were! Uncertainty is high in this country and ever since the thread this country has been hanging on, oil, started having issues, the uncertainty has risen to astronomical heights. In a country where rules are not just bent but broken, survival may imply not just breaking the law but grinding the law to power...So you either stick to God and be the patient dog or you play by the unlawful rules of the streets and get rich quick. Both paths have costs and both have rewards... |
...this is what happens when a people depend on a single tap believing the water will keep rushing forever...but sadly, though water still abounds, the pipes feeding the one tap we depend on are leaking or broken by the selfish few and the teeming ordinary people are plunged into thirst...Now these same people see the need for multiple taps in multiple regions but taps don't appear out of nowhere rather they are made. So while we wait for the undoing of the deeds of folly of our fathers, some may have to endure the thirst and drought... |
This is a sad reminder that: if the good fail to faithfully do their best, the world will be overrun by the bad who faithfully do their worst. Soon, if not already, some of this forum will become rich, powerful, influential and ranked high in the social stratum of the society and the good sentiments that they have shared on sorry matters, as the matter of @glamoured, will be tested. The man who did what he did to @glamoured would have shared the same sentiments that many here are sharing when he was probably broke and powerless and I will not be surprised if many reading this piece are very much like him. God said and I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30) God is not looking for a good continent nor a good country. He is looking for a good man who will stand in the gap, make up the hedge, bear the burden of others, stand up for the weak, feed the poor, clothe the naked, plead for mercy and yet render righteous judgment...but more often than not, and as sad as it is, he finds none! It is not enough to sympathize and render counsel, as many have done to the lady in this sorry condition, we must learn to use our resources towards fighting the evils of this world while we are yet alive! |
Ifedayosteven:Hi Ife, could you pls send me the practice questions, my email address is: efficiencie@gmail.com |
Tizzyreal:Thank you Chi, i will get in touch with you when i get a job we can share...I wish you all the best! |
...my sincere gratitude goes to all who commented as well as reached me via whatsapp. I have been able to get someone to assist me via this forum. Thank you once again and Jah bless you all. |
My apologies please. The area of the research is Health Economics so i would require academic reseaechers with background knowledge in Economics or Health Economics! |
Hi, I am writing a project work and would like the first two chapters of the work , that is; the introductory chapter and the literature review to be handled by an academic researcher and i need this done in less than a week. I will write out the detailed table of contents revealing what i require the writer to do for me as well as the number of pages required of every section in the table contents. The work must be very low on plagiarism as I will conduct a plagiarism test on the work and the write up must be conducted in APA style with appropriate citations and referencing. After the work is concluded, I shall vet the work and make recommendations for adjustments and corrections after which payment shall be made for the job. To ensure that no one is cheated and to boost trust. I require the abrigded-service-before-pay rule suggesting that on concluding the chapter one without references the first installment of the pay is paid, on concluding and submission of chapter two the second installment will be paid and after the payment of the second installment (that is, the full pay) the writer can send me the references. Interested persons should contact me on the email: efficiencie@gmail.com or 08069170234 (whatsapp only please) |
A plagiarism test will prove the authenticity of the work...so interested persons can contact me. My details are in my signature below. |
Tis not surprising! Those viewing this section are hungry for opportunities so much that they are not willing to comment if there is nothing in it for them...I hope someone that has the answer you seek sends in a comment! Or better still, why not reach out to the EDUCATION SECTION, you will find a forum for NOUN STUDENTS, they should have some information for you, I guess! |
An unpublished research paper on the Nigerian macroeconomy for sale, for more details see: https://www.nairaland.com/3264704/unpublished-59-page-thesis-nigerian Interested persons can reach me via my contact details in my signature. |
amirez:Wrong sir!!! Utterly wrong!!! Cleanliness is not a prerequisite for Godliness...Lazarus, the beggar, was certainly not as clean as the Rich man yet he made it to Abraham's bosom but the Rich man landed in hell...What differentiates a Christian from a non-Christian is his SUBMISSION TO THE WILL OF THE FATHER AS INSPIRED BY THE LEADING OF THE HOLYGHOST! Nothing else but this!!! |
The unpublished research was completed by me, on the Nigerian economy for the period 2000-2014 based on quarterly data - the choice of time frame is informed by the drive of the research to evaluate the macroeconomic situation during the GEJ era and its implications for the current recession Nigeria is battling with. The method of analysis availed in the research includes: unit root testing, pesaran et al bounds test, ARDL, Engle-Granger z and tau tests for cointegration, Box Jenkins ARIMA modeling, dynamic model specifications (VARs and VECs) and Policy Simulations. The theoretical framework is based on a mathematical presentation of the aggregate demand-aggregate supply framework. The results are unique and it addresses a pertinent gap in the literature on the Nigerian macroeconomy. I would have loved to publish this work as a paper in a journal but due to its size, 59 pages, the editors require I scale it down and doing that would involve me eliminating vital portions of the work. So if anyone is interesting in buying this piece of research, I am willing to sell. Interested persons can get my contact details in my signature. |
Three principles i have learned about God and his ways are: 1. Exalt no principle, knowledge, theory, law or revelation, no matter how true or accurate, above the LEADING OF THE HOLYGHOST , 2. Do not decide or let anyone decide what is good or bad on behalf of the HOLY GHOST, rather LET THE HOLY GHOST DECIDE WHAT IS GOOD OR BAD and 3. Prove the spirits ALWAYS, no matter how familiar you get with the HOLYGHOST ALWAYS PROVE THE SPIRITS |
Ibiyomee:Do not divide the word of God like a kid! That the word Jesus was not mentioned in the law and the prophets does not mean he was not recognized in the law and the prophets. As a matter of fact all the law and prophets spoke of Jesus but the blind pharisees, like many on this forum, could not see. They had PhDs in theology but they could not see that all the law and the prophets spoke of Jesus. Moses did in Deuteronomy 18:15, Jacob spoke of him in Genesis 49:10, Hannah spoke of him 1 Samuel 2:10...the instances go on and on...Jesus did not come to abolish the law and the prophets, he came to fulfill and if you are to work the works of Christ and even perform greater works your life must fulfill the unfulfilled law and the prophets as well... Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. and the LAW and the PROPHETS came out of the mouth of God, or didn't they? So you must live by them as the LORD commands! |
Ibiyomee:Did you read that verse? it says doesn't even NATURE TEACHES...does this natural rule rule out the possibility of a person taking the vow of a Nazarite and separating himself for the LORD, abstaining from wine, leaving his beard and the locks of his hair according to Numbers 6:2-8? |
saying “don’t ever marry outside the church and you have no reason to marry outside RCCG. The reason is that if you are both from the same church even when trouble comes it is easier for the pastors to handle it!Really? Yes! Do not marry outside the church, but the church is not a place, the church is not a name, the church is not necessarily a denomination, the church is not bounded by walls, the church is not ethnic, the church is not gender biased, the church is not the creation of any man...It is the invention of Christ and the representation of Christ. If my wife is from MFM and I worship at RCCG I will most certainly marry her...There are marriages that started in RCCG that ended in a divorce and there was nothing the RCCG pastors could do about it... We need to snap out of denominationalism, break down the walls of attrition we have rebuilt by forming discordant identities and realize that we are one...CAC, TAC, MFM, GAC, AG, CPM, OPM, OFM, MLDM, CMDL, CRA etc...Christ prayed to the Father to make us one that He was one with the Father...Let us not break Christ's heart over and over again! |
lust, the carnal desires of man, is the source of all of mankind's problems...Mankind; across race, religion and rank, is where it is today because it feels it is free to satisfy whatever desire that crosses the heart...the day mankind learns, lives and loves the sacrifice of self, is the day history stops and eternity begins... |
The school is nt where yu go to get rich. The school is where you go to get life transforming information which can be put to use however you deem fit...Soldiers were taught and learned to kill, some for the money, as assassins, some for the fun and some others for the love of crown and country. Prophets with the spirit of a prophet were taught on the nature, the ministration and administration of their gift and some prophesy for the money, some for the fame (they will have their reward like Balaam did) while others do so for the love of the LORD! The school is where you get information. What you do with that information is strictly your business. However some misguided, myopic and sadly moronic persons jump into schools not clearly realizing the relevance of the training they get from school for the purpose they set out to achieve. You want to be rich overnight yet you went to study Philosophy! Whaaaat!! How on earth in a country like Nigeria will you become rich quick by philosophizing and blabbing a lot of Obahiagbonish vocabulary? No wonder a person goes to school, spend 5 years to study Engineering and lands in a bank as a business development officer. What a waste! If 4 out of that 5 years were spent doing finance, marketing or management he'd have been a better fit for the job. So, sir, a school is relevant only to extent that it provides you information necessary to serve your purpose. Hence if you go to school and become redundant then it's either you are in the wrong school/department or you have not yet discovered purpose and i think the latter is true for most people... Anywhere belle face syndrome! |
