Dude you are in deep shit ohhh! But not deep enough. Go and get that 50k ready. Borrow it or something. Don't head to the police station because the police will not hear you out. Head to the bank. Explain the scenario and tell them you are willing to settle the amount of money, 50k. The bank will be persuaded to settle the matter without involving the police since you are willing to pay the money back.

I got married as a young virgin...probably didnt understand what love was all about then....I've never really felt love or being loved in my marriage..coupled with some other marriage issues..I wear the shoes and I know where it hurts...all I need is advices on how to build my love life and not yabs pls...it's very hurtful cry
Love is commitment. Love is responsibility. Love is a choice to stand by a person no matter what. Love is sacrifice. Love is not always sweet. Neither is love always bitter. Love is the price and love is the prize.

If you have adhered to all these already then what you are complaining of is the lack of passionate affection. This problem is deeply rooted in the supernatural. Many have tried physical means of creating this yet it doesn't work. Many have advocated sex styles and sexual orientations yet it doesn't work... The natural affection mentioned by Paul in Romans 1:31 is one that God alone can plant in your marriage.

Avoid the temptation to resort to self-help. Beware of the counsel of some directing you towards harmful practices in the name of spicing up your marriage. Talk to God, in Jesus' name, first about it. Next talk to your husband about it. Next both of you, husband and wife, should together ask Jesus for help about the lack of natural affection lost between both of you. And keep being a loving spouse as described in the aforementioned.

My thoughts exactly. Will the police lock up everyone?

We can't continue like this. sad
Have you experienced the police before? I guess not. Police can lock up a community if you test them. I have experienced this first hand. Police do not have any limit to the number of persons they can victimize provided they are commoners...you should experience the police first before commenting about what they can or cannot do!

I disagree. It still have to do with religion. Nigeria are bunch of hypocrites.
Let 10 people gather to help her to hospital , there is nothing police can do when greater number of people testifying.
Let 10 people gather? A friend helped a young guy stabbed in a fight by taking him to the hospital. He did this in the company of many of others. As soon as the parents of the victim invited the police, my friend as well as the company of people who assisted the victim were rounded up by the police and made to part with huge sums of money for bail. Dude you can call Nigerians whatever you want it doesn't change one fact: Nigeria is a country with parasitic institutions.

Perhaps you can try it sooner than later and justify that you, yourself, are not a hypocrite. Help a dying person in the company of others and see the consequences. Perhaps you may live long enough to tell the tale here on Nairaland. grin grin grin
Health › Re: Lady Collapses Along The Road In Lagos Island, Abandoned By Passersby by efficiencie(m): 12:47am On Nov 19, 2019
Help at your own risk! There are countless scenarios that could result from helping such a lady and hardly any of those scenarios would result in you being a hero celebrated by the society instead these scenarios could result in one being murdered, jailed, executed, maligned, accused etc. No one has the moral latitude to blame the passersby. Perhaps you can rush to aid of someone in the U.S, France or UK but here in Nigeria, the helper will almost always be the villain!

Many of the hypocrites talking here will be the first to accuse you. Imagine this scenario. A man helps her, rushes her to a hospital. The medical staff detains the man, quick tests shows that she collapsed out of exhaustion from a lot of sexual activity, medical staff tries to stabilize her but unfortunately she is dead, family of members of the lady are briefed by medical staff...Now tell me what will result? Of course, the family members will sue Mr. Good Samaritan for murder, some nairalander will post the issue on Nairaland, and a lot of hypocrites typing nonsense on this post will be the first to declare that the Mr Good Samaritan a rapist or ritualist. In the end, in the absence of a good lawyer or the finance to fund a sound legal team, Mr Good Samaritan is sentenced to death for a crime he never committed.

Hypocrites should know that the Good Samaritan in the Holy Bible was not faced with the challenges that a typical "good" Nigeria is faced with...here in Nigeria, you can render the perfect assistance that could mean the end of your life as you know it!

Family › Re: My Wife Insists No Sex Until Wedding Night Even After Our Traditional Wedding by efficiencie(m): 3:38am On Oct 31, 2019
She is just another one of those ladies who think they know the scriptures but don't. The law of the LORD YHVH on marriage is simple: If you sleep with her, she is your wife, pay the Father a price and you will be married to the lady all your life

The verse below clearly states this:

Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

And no other verse in the scriptures states the conditions for the union of a man and a woman. Even Paul did not mention anything about church weddings, bride price etc.

What we know today as church wedding is just another traditional wedding (western traditional wedding). The real wedding is what happens when The husband gives the father of the wife a gift, the father of wife hands her over to get husband, and both husband and wife consummate their union. Breach any one of these conditions and a marriage hasn't started properly!

Christians need to mine the scriptures for themselves and quit adhering without spiritual scrutiny to the fallible theologies concocted by fallible men!

Romance › Re: Your Boyfriend Is Not Your Husband! by efficiencie(m): 11:37am On Oct 23, 2019
When she said she has a boyfriend she meant you are not enough to join her list of boyfriends . She clearly knows her boyfriend is not her husband and that is why she did not introduce him to you as her husband or fiancé. Women are way smarter than that. They know who a boyfriend is and who a husband is and they identify them as such...so when she tell you she has a boyfriend she is indirectly telling you that you are not even worthy enough to compete for the boyfriend position let alone something more important!

If you as a man are valuable and up to the task she will go out with you even if she has a husband and she will keep mum about it.

Though smart most women are quite predictable in this area!

Survival tips for this situation
1. Never use an atm with the account that holds your savings
2. If you have to be extorted, insist you can only transfer, that would be a strong evidence.
3. Always try to identify the policemen by their names, station attached to or their vehicle number
4. Create a story about the money being used to save a life. Last las, give them like only 20k.
Pray this never happens to me though. But as a corper, this is a very good case. He can report the case then apply for redeployment to avoid backlash
Dude, it is SARS we are talking about not traffic warden...these guys can easily deposit a bullet in your head whilst trying to apply the recommendations you just advanced...one should pray never to encounter these marauders.

This is the only way to accelerate education in rural areas. English should be learned as means of communication and not for learning. Literacy ought to be in the local language and all other languages should be learned just for the purpose of communication. This is a laudable development and it is long overdue! I wonder what our education policy makers have been thinking all these years!

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why Most Of The Science/engineering Graduates Are Unemployed After Graduation? by efficiencie(m): 4:46pm On Oct 15, 2019
Simple!!! They become unemployed because their education is not problem driven and they do not practice what they studied towards addressing problems! A student who takes up an admission offer to study medicine and surgery with the hope to find a cure to cancer will likely hone in all his or her efforts, choose specific electives and pursue researches with the hope to inch closer and closer towards finding a cure to cancer. In addition, such a person will seek job opportunities that allows him or her pursue further researches towards addressing the problem of cancer. But when the person, like most of us, gets admission with no real ambition in mind, with no basic problem in mind and no long term ambition in mind such a person is likely to remain unemployed after graduation.

Education has to be problem driven for it to be relevant and functional!

alBHAGDADI:
Very funny misinterpretation of the word of God. You have clearly shown that one can get tattoos, braid his hair as a man, sag, wear female clothes as a man, and God won't be bothered because it is his heart God is after.

Have you forgotten that the outward appearance is a reflection of the heart? The inward appearance can never be clean if the outward is dirty

Mathew 23:26
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Your illustration of Samuel and the sons of Jesse is also misconstrued. The men God told Samuel not to look at where looking good. There wasn't anything bad about their looks, that's why Samuel wanted to pick them. However, their heart was not right with God, that's why God didn't pick them.

Nowhere does the verse say they were immorally dressed. If they were immorally dressed, Samuel would have kicked against them. But clearly, Samuel the prophet saw godly dressing in them, that's why he wanted to chose them.

1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)

7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Samuel wanted to chose them for their decent looks, but he couldn't see that their heart was not right with God. They were more like the Pharisees who looked clean on the outside but filled with immorality inward. That was what God saw in them that made him reject them.

Mathew 23:25
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.

Mathew 23:27
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead
men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

The reason why God chose David over his brothers is because David did look good on the inside and also his heart was right with God. That's why the Buble described him as a man after God's heart.

As stated in the OP, if you are immorally dressed, then it shows that you are immoral on the inside, your heart is immoral. To change your dress to something decent, you have to change that immoral heart. You have to wash the inside to make the outside clean.

Mathew 23:26
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

So dude, you illustration with the sons of Jesse is wrong. Samuel almost chose those other sons because of their stature which looked kingly to him. That's how man judges. We don't see the heart. Man can even deceive others by appearing godly but inside he's of evil.

When God chose David, no scripture states that David was immorally dressed. He was also dressed like a godly person just as his brothers. But he had an advantage over his brothers because his heart was right with God. That was something Samuel could not see.

So, if you don't want people to tag you a prostitute, don't dress like one. No sane Christian will dress like a Yahoo boy or prostitute. That's because their heart is clean, and it reflects on the outward. They won't even want to be mistaken for an immoral person or a thug.

But those with dirty hearts often think their heart is clean. Hey, how come your outward appearance looks dirty? Where did the inspiration for the immoral dressing come from? Is it not from your heart? Can you now agree that your heart is immorally dirty?
We are talking about humans and not machines here...you cannot predict every single event bordering on humans. The LovePeddler who came to Jesus, romancing, sorry, kissing His feet, washing it with her tears and drying them with her hair would today have been deemed really abominable! Every one in the room knew her to be a LovePeddler and they interpreted her action as defilement but Her GOD deemed it worship...there are ladies under the surgical knife of the HolyGhost so they may wear terrible attires for now but in due time Jesus will lead them to the point of giving stuff up without confrontation or even preaching...let us be careful when dealing with the sheep of Jesus' pasture. He is a jealous Shepherd, who will leave 99 sheep and go looking for a dirty, stinking, rebellious, wanton, good-for-nothing and uncouth sheep! Nevertheless as a divine ideal you are right, cleanliness within is reflected in cleanliness without!
