What happened to this song gullible people sing

Jesus power super power

Mammy water power powerless power
Corona virus power powerless power
Cancer power powerless power

What happened

RIP ravi
Does Jesus have power granted to him in heaven and on earth? Yes. My evidences are the countless miracles that happen in churches daily. Does Jesus have power over death, sickness and sin? Yes. Jesus has demonstrated that at the mention of His name people have risen from the dead, sicknesses have vanished and people have been renewed. Will some sons of Christ die before the coming of Christ? Yes. They may die due to a myriad of reasons but one day mockers like you will be stunned. Mockers like you will be shaken in fear. When at the darkest hour of the church's history we see the sign of the coming of the son of man, the prince of peace, the word of GOD, the son of GOD, Jesus Christ, I wonder if your mockery would still be alive because in that instant, the man you just mocked will rise from the grave, be given a glorified body and be caught up with Christ...now is the time for all the enemies of the church. Let them flourish in their evil. Our time is yet to come!

And Religion has not claimed lives? Christianity said it was ok for the white man to enslave Africans and treat them like subhumans because the white men are superior.

The missionnaries brought Christianity to Nigeria to gauge the people of Nigeria, before you knew it they condemned everything Nigerian and imposed their ways on us and before you knew it we were colonised. Yet Nigerians still carry Christianity on their heads, truly shocking. Nigerians are suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.Nigeria is more corrupt now than it was 30years ago but there are 100 new churches springing up everyday.

These countries I mentioned ditched religion when they saw that to progress as a collective society, religion should be pushed out of society. One doesn't need religion to be a good person. One needs a heart and a brain. Many Nigerian Christians are so wicked that they make the devil look like an angel. I am sorry but your argument is not convincing me smiley
Christianity never said anyone to enslave anyone. If you read the New Testament bible nothing in this regard was stated and in the Old testament some of the laws were given due to the stiffneckedness of men. God never created anyone to slave for anyone and this is reflected in the New Testament teachings. Contrary to your notion which seems to be popular among those who don't consider the notion critically, Christianity was not the tool for colonization. Africans were successfully colonized as a result of the success of the slave trade that had happened before colonial conquest. Africans had proven to be people who would sell out their brothers for gain and this made the colonialists realize we are not united, we are not galvanized, we do not present a threat to an external invading force. This is why the Brits availed indirect rule, ruling the people using tyranical traitors among the people. If Africans were united, indirect rule would be a colossal failure. Christianity on the other hand did not come with the gospel alone, it came with hospitals, schools, health care, modern scientific approaches to solving problems etc. Many of the investments of Christianity in Africa are still evident today...If the ways of our paganistic fathers were more palatable than those of the missionaries they would have reverted enmasse to the old way of doing things. Were the likes of Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Tafawa Balewa etc practicing Christians? These guys were known to be fetish or non-Christian, yet Christianity thrived. Instead of labeling all Christians in Nigeria sick, you should question your very own capacity for critical thinking and ask what would have made so many Africans become Christians if it was full of wickedness, hate, backwardness and all kinds of evil compared to the ways of their fore fathers.
You claim many Christians are wicked, like becoming a Christian means becoming a purist. I just presented facts that showed that Atheistic leaders have killed more people globally than the world wars, crimes, natural disasters of the 21st century put together. Yet does this mean that most atheists are wicked? I cannot provide an answer to that question until I have conducted a rigorous investigation based on a representative sample of atheists and I feel if you are someone given to critical thinking you should also not be able to make such claims about Christians being wicked until you either have facts from other studies or you have investigated the matter yourself rigorously.
You claim Nigeria has been corrupt for 30 years, but from studies of history, Nigeria has been corrupt even before it was christened Nigeria. If the region known as Nigeria today were not corrupt they would not have traded their brothers and sisters for mirrors, guns and alcohol. If Nigerians were not corrupt the Brits would not have applied indirect rule successfully. If Nigeria were not corrupt in its nascent years the first military coup would not have happened. If Nigeria were not corrupt the successive military coups would not have happened...So tell me, those who sold Africans to the Whites as slaves, were they Christians? Those appointed by the Brits as surrogate rulers during the colonial times were they Christians? Indirect rule was noted to be the most successful in Northern Nigeria, tell me are they predominantly Christians? The military coups and counter coups were conducted by pastors and clergymen, right? Which Nigerian leader has cited a portion of the bible as the basis for his nefarious deeds?

You need to commit yourself to critical thinking before arriving at a conclusion!

Nigeria is supposed to be the most religious nations in the world with 10-30 churches on any one street in the South and 1000s of mosques in the North. Yet Nigeria is a failed, dysfunctional state.

Atheist Nations like Sweden, Norway and Austria have banned religion from interfering with politics and are thriving, functional states. In fact many Religious Nigerians are planning their exit from Religious Nigeria to these Atheist Nations.

For Nigeria to thrive, we need to ditch religion.
Yet America was heavily religious before recently and yet their religion coexisted with their progress. The so called atheist nations you mentioned were once predominantly Christian nations and their religion coexisted with their progress...you should study the history of religion in these countries before arriving at your conclusions - for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Sweden. Yet you cannot deny that atheistic men and women have claimed more lives that any religious person in history - https://www.conservapedia.com/Atheism_and_Mass_Murder

Religion the cause of wars, slavery, Colonialism, poverty and hatred amongst humans. Christians do you know the people who brought you Christianity used the Bible to justify slavery and Colonialism? I am not so sure how I feel about Christianity anymore.

Christians particular Nigerian Christians are worst than the devil himself meanwhile atheists have treated me with great kindness.

its high time we ditch religion if we want to progress as a society.
Yes, there are kind atheists but...Benito Mussolini was an atheist. Vladmir Illich Lenin was an athiest. Adolf Hitler was an athiest...and these three combined slaughtered hundreds of millions of souls in their lifetime...yet Jesus was a jew. Paul was a christian. Peter was a christian. Mother Theresa was a christian...and these religious figures had a good record in their time. Don't predicate your decision on the lives of others. Decide based on what you have found to be true. Any tool can be used for good or evil. Without a knife, a kitchen is incomplete yet it is all you need to take a life...religion is a tool and can be used for good or evil depending on the intentions of its adherents. It is up to you to decide for yourself what is right from what is wrong and not base your decision on the decisions, failures or successes of others due to religion!

@Teebaba30 you have two options to choose from. (1) Reassure your parents and those of your wife's parents that you both can maintain your religion whilst in the marriage and your children are at liberty to make their choice between the two religions. (2) Elope! That lady has already exhibited the traits of a wife and from the way you two describe your bond, you are both are already husband and wife by bond. Elope with the lady, start life somewhere else and after 5 years of total silence reconnect with your parents from both sides. By that time their old stubborn hearts would have melted to the point of accepting to bless the marriage and the children that have resulted from the union. Shikena!

#modified
@Teebaba30 Don't listen to the religious idiots trying to take away your key to success. If that lady loves you enough to confront her parents, then she will stand by your side to the end. Bible says: "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh" Genesis 2:24. No religion was mentioned in this verse. The only thing to note in that verse is the word CLEAVE UNTO and from your post it is clear that your soul has CLEAVED with that of that lady. She is one flesh with you brother so MAN UP. Get a means of livelihood. Leave your location. Settle down with her somewhere else. Do a court wedding. Have your kids and raise them well. I assure you soon the stubbornness of your parents will melt.

Don't let religion, parental culture and traditions ruin the only chance of marital bliss you have. If you lose this love, you may finally marry a hoe who calls herself a Christian but is a traitor and a destroyer.

Christianity Etc › Re: How We Can Curb Sexual Immorality In Our Society by efficiencie(m): 12:50pm On May 03, 2020
One

When the age of marriage for struggling men is as high as 35 but the age they start to burn is 15. You cannot escape fornication easily. Sexual starvation is as bad as food starvation. A burning young man will be driven to fornication if he has no Hope's of getting married anytime soon. The economic situation is a key driver of this problem. Before a struggling man can say he is financially ready he must have been in his late 20s or early 30s but such has a man has been starving since he was 15. How do you make such a man to deal with the starvation?

Two

Our culture also has a fault. We have made marriage a project when marriage is meant to be as simple and affordable as possible. Many customs have made marriage very difficult. Before a starving young man can think of marriage he has to have a job paying at least 150k, he must not be carrying his extended family's financial responsibilities and he must have a strong savings culture. How many men attain this conditions? Many men have to contribute to supporting parents and siblings and yet you expect them to save enough to foot the bill of marriage imposed on them by customs?

Three

Many ladies and their families want a ready made man. Many ladies do not want to help a man become ready, no, they want him already made. I sometimes say it, if your man is already made how are you relevant to him? You had no part in his struggles and no contribution to his success but you and your family want him. Most struggling men will have to toil hard till they are older trying to become financially made without the support of any female. If ladies took it upon themselves to yield to a good man when he is nothing and help him work his way up, he will make it earlier in life and be able to settle down with the helper who assisted him all this while. Sadly this is not the case so most men have to labor alone and labor for long whilst starving for sex...doesn't this lead to fornication?

Four

Our pastors also have a fault. Our pastors, most of them, usually preach that until a man is financially ready he is not ready for marriage. But these foolish teachers cannot see the result of their teachings. If financial readiness is a determinant of marriage then we must accept the current rate of fornication. Because if it will take a man another 20 years from the age of 15 to become financially ready, how have you provided for his sexual starvation during those 20 years?

Five

Most ladies have decided to make their bodies available before marriage. It is sheer stupidity for a lady to sleep with man whose parents you don't know, who doesn't know your parents, whose aspirations for marriage has not been declared to your parents and whose parents have not accepted you as a wife. When ladies do this stupid thing they give men the impression that marriage is overrated since their sexual starvation can be satisfied before marriage at a cost must less than the cost of marriage. This fuels fornication. When a man knows that the lady next door neighbor has a utility he can use to satisfy his sexual starvation at a very minimal cost he finds it hard evading such a temptation. Could David, the man after God's heart, evade such a temptation when Bathsheba made her hole available for use?

Six

For most men, I don't know about women, sex is a difficult thing to evade. I know you want to mention Joseph and Job but you must not forget Reuben, Judah, Abimelech, Samson, David, Solomon...its so bad that a man in the Corinthain church slept with his mother. Fornication was found in the Thyatiran church. Men need intercession concerning fornication. It is the only force you cannot confront easily in prayer and the only recommendation the bible gives is "flee".

"The truth about mobile phone and wireless radiation: what we know, what we need to find out, and what you can do now"
Presented by Dr Devra Davis, Visiting Professor of Medicine at the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, and Visiting Professor of Medicine at Ondokuz Mayis University, Turkey.

The Lecture
What are the health effects of mobile phones and wireless radiation? While Australia has led the world in safety standards, including compulsory seat-belt legislation, plain packaging on cigarettes, and product and food disclosure legislation, it falls behind in addressing the significant issues associated with mobile phone use. In this Dean’s Lecture, epidemiologist and electromagnetic radiation expert, Dr Devra Davis, will outline the evolution of the mobile phone and smartphone, and provide a background to the current 19 year old radiation safety standards (SAR), policy developments and international legislation. New global studies on the health consequences of mobile/wireless radiation will be presented, including children’s exposure and risks.

The Speaker
Dr Devra Davis is an internationally recognised expert on electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones and other wireless transmitting devices. She is currently the Visiting Professor of Medicine at the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, and Visiting Professor of Medicine at Ondokuz Mayis University, Turkey. Dr Davis was Founding Director of the Center for Environmental Oncology at The University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute — the first institute of its kind in the world, to examine the environmental factors that contribute to the majority of cases of cancer.

In 2007, Dr Devra Davis founded nonprofit Environmental Health Trust to provide basic research and education about environmental health hazards. Dr Davis served as the President Clinton appointee to the Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board in the U.S.A. from 1994–1999, an independent executive branch agency that investigates, prevents and mitigates chemical accidents.
As the former Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Health in the Department of Health and Human Services, she has counseled leading officials in the United States, United Nations, European Environment Agency, Pan American Health Organization, World Health Organization, and World Bank.

Family › Re: Are There Advantages In Marrying More Than One Wife? by efficiencie(m): 1:26pm On Apr 05, 2020
RisenPhoenix:
There is a huge advantage to polygamy, but only if a man is mature and emotionally balanced; and is able and willing to take care of all his wives. Only then can the following benefits be reaped...
For women:

1. It helps take care of women in society. If everybody who is able to do so marries many women, there will not be any single women running wild, lining up for 'special prayer', competing for husbands and becoming baby mamas. Even widows and divorcees will find husbands (if they have good characters).

this is a lie. If every man marries 10 wives each until all women of marriageable age are married it will not address all the problems of these women. Getting married addresses the need for love and belongingness but it does not necessarily help a lady have a meaningful life. In a Buharic economy having a wife is easily a project and having more than 1 wife is easily a nightmare. How will you cater for the women equally? How will you satisfy all the women sexually? Some men have just 1 wife and it is a battle satisfying her sexually let alone a man with more than 1 wife. Dude be not deceived GOD was not stupid to make 1 Eve for 1 Adam.

2. It promotes harmony in the house; the strength and maturity of the man is key.
Hear yourself. Inquire from those who are the product of polygamy, you will find a common thread of jealousy, conspiracy, vendetta, acrimony and fatal strife...you can be mature all you want, a woman capacity to bring out the beast in you in unparalleled and soon enough you might have to see a voodoo practitioner to give you charms to control your wives

3. Women have more peace of mind. They know who their 'rivals' are, and if they suppress their innate desire for troublemaking, can even make friends.

Women have peace of mind? Really? You legally marry a lady who would have spent a couple of years being a side chick and the more the number increases the more the older wives keep expecting the next conversion of the next side chick into a wife...even newer wives will also join the bandwagon...there is no peace of mind anywhere for a woman in a polygamous relationship. Let the man drop dead, and high blood pressure will start as the wives start playing the politics of how to share your possessions

4. Women rest more. The burden of running the homes is lighter when shared by more than one woman. When one wife does not feel like cooking, or having sex etc, the other(s) can step up. Child caring etc can also be rotated.

Women rest more? What happened to recruiting a house help to assist. There are times none of the wives will do anything in the house as each wife is waiting on the other to do the needful...and each wife knows that when shit comes down it will come down on all the wives so this emboldens her to do as she likes

For men:

1. They have more peace at home. A woman should never feel she is the only sugar in her man's tea because she will inevitably misbehave.

Really? Is it not misbehavior for a man to keep search for another wife even after having one? Isn't the man saying his first wife is not enough, so he has the get the second? Isn't that misbehaviour? What would make such a man stop at a specified number of wives? He can go on and on till he has hundreds of wives because he real reason for marrying new wives is his insatiable, unbridled and uncontrollable lust which is itself a misbehavior which women are not allowed to exhibit.

2. He need not have extra marital affairs with all its attendant problems. Anytime he meets a woman that he likes, he either marries her or keeps his hands off. Having an assortment of women in the house will make him not even want to look outside (remember I made his maturity a condition from the beginning).

Well yes, he needs not have extra marital affairs because the ladies he would have had extra marital affairs with have become his wives...dude a mature man will control his lust and manage his resources with one wife. Only a fool will claim to be mature and yet goes on a sex spree with several women in the name of polygamy...and what makes the man have an upper limit on the number of wives? Nothing! He can go on and on and on having new wives and divorcing older ones until he would have had sex with the number of women needed to populate a nation!

Women don't like it only because it takes away their power to dominate their husband.
Only a weakling fool is scared of a powerful wife. That is why in societies where polygamy is the norm their women are often beaten and goaded into submission. Women in such societies hardly submit willingly but are forced into submission but a true alpha male will get the submission of a woman without even saying a word...those are real men and not the weaklings who cringe when a powerful woman shows up.

Weak men don't like it only because women say it is not good and they want to look like nice men to those women.
So by implication a strong man is someone who specializes in doing what women say is not good. A strong man in your opinion is someone is far from being a nice man but chooses to be a nightmare, right? Interesting. You just defined a tyrant and probably most polygamous men are tyrants but as tyrannical as they are their wives have a way of cutting them to size and sharing the fools property

...and who told you that the same factors that can make 2 wives collude will not make 3 wives collude...I can tell you one such factor. Fariq:
You only talk on the physics aspect without the biological aspect which concerns life.

5G network operates at 60 Giga hertz which is oxygen absorption band. I.e 98 percentage of the energy at that frequency is absorbed by atmospheric oxygen.

This changes the optical properties of oxygen, which in turns makes it difficult to bind to haemoglobin when inhaled by a person.

In the human body, oxygen binds to haemoglobin in the red blood cells which then circulate to all tissues of the body.

Less binding capacity of oxygen to haemoglobin = less oxygen to the tissues of the body = shortness of breath and related complications.

5G is also linked to immunosuppression that weakens the body immune system. Having in mind that the body immune system is responsible for defense against foreign pathogens including coronavirus.

@mrphysics these are the kind of posts your should respond to. They are presenting what seems to be evidence that debunks your claim...you should address these statements with an equal or greater amount of technical sophistication.

GamalNasser:
As regards COVID 19 nobody is saying 5g causes cancer or spreads virus we are saying milimetre waves have been proven to suppress immune systems and affect biological being by many credible research and if this is so then why try to pass it off as completely safe ...it's is very misleading of you to use 5g FR1as your standard because 5g FR1 clearly doesn't depoly milimetre waves as the 5g we are talking of because most of the cities correlated with high infections and mortality deployed 5g FR2 at the 24ghz minimums ..For those who don't know the difference 5g FR1 is the attempt to transmit 5g using existing 4g hardware at no more than 6ghz ( which is still the frequency ceiling for 4g) and the results are just meagre 15% improvement to the capacity of 4g ..this was not the model of 5g transmission used in WUHAN , Italy and Newyork , london where where we have seen bandoleer 100 -200 metre FR2 street level antenna set up for transmission at 24ghz and more ... Below is an abstract highlights of research on Mice exposed to milimetre wave at a frequency of 24ghz at 10 watts and be the judge:

Abstract
The effect of low-level millimeter fractionated radiation on the production of tumor necrosis factor, intreleukin-2, interleukine-3, and nitric oxide and on the activity of natural killer cells and proliferation of T and B lymphocytes in mice was studied. Cell activity was measured in four groups of male Balb/c mice (control, exposed, tumor-bearing unexposed, and exposed tumor-bearing animals) within 30 days of tumoral growth and microwave exposure (42.2 GHz, 10 Hz amplitude modulation, 0.5 microW/cm2, 1.5 h daily). A significant increase in the production of tumor necrosis factor and nitric oxide and in the activity of natural killer cells was observed at the early stage of tumor development; this effect was considered as adaptive response. In healthy mice, millimeter radiation produced both stimulating and immunodepressive effects.
Where is @mrphysics? For those who are not physicists, microbiologists or educated at all in anything, kindly explain or debunk this finding!
