That GOD allows an event to happen does not make the event moral...the three men considered to be holy enough to save themselves by their own righteousness did not have more than one wife - Daniel (had no wife at all), Job (had one wife) and Noah (who also had one wife) (Ezekiel 14:14). These men were noted to be perfect in their time and none other had the testimony these men had from GOD (Genesis 6:9; Job 1:8 ).

Great post...but...there is usually a but somewhere and its unfortunate! Your uploaded pictorial representation depicts righteousness to be an ID card worn on the body and in looks. Well the pharisees also wore their righteousness on their bodies and in looks but most of them were just ravening wolves, brood of vipers and hypocrites. When the teaching of righteousness becomes more emphatic about how we look it often leads to the 2 Timothy 3:5 trap of looking godly but lacking the power of the HolyGhost who is the only source of righteous living.

This is why we have so many Christians in number yet the darkness in the land is just too much. Is it not ironic that the HolyGhost inspired John into saying in "Jesus was life and that life was the light of men", yet with so many Christians in the land yet there is so much darkness...the reason is simply that: many are following Christ, but they lack the power, they lack the fullness of the HolyGhost, they lack the life of Christ which is their light and it is this light that makes people glorify GOD in heaven but when this light is absent you can dress like a nun, wear no jewelry, have no hairdo, look like a monk and still have no impact on the darkness in the land.

Emphasizing an outward show of godliness is not the solution to the crisis in the church...it is enthroning the HolyGhost once again as He was on the fulfillment of Pentecost, that is the solution we need. When the HolyGhost becomes King again in the church, our elder brothers like Adeboye, Oyedepo, Kumuyi, Olukoya, etc will not be the only stars lighting up Nigeria. When the HolyGhost becomes the King again in the church, no one will need to see the General Suprintendent or General Overseer for prayers because an ordinary usher will be carrying the liquid fire of the HolyGhost enough to destroy darkness anywhere they hide. When the HolyGhost takes over the church again, no one will need to leave their house and cover over 5km just to attend church because there will be a 14-year old child who will cause one single miracle in his neighborhood and that would be the start of a church...the church will spring up everywhere.

Above all when the HolyGhost takes over the church, WE ALL WILL BE ONE

I am ashamed when I see Redeemers saying "Oh this is our church doctrine, it may not be applicable in other churches but it is our doctrine" and next your hear DeeperLifers saying the same thing and next you will see Men of God all disagreeing with each other. Paul also emphasized the same thing over and over again to the Romans in Romans 12:16, 5:6 to the Corinthians in 2 Corinthians 13:11, to the Philippians in Philippians 1: 27, 2:2.

Peter also emphasized oneness in 1 Peter 3:8 but look at the church in Nigeria...you can hardly find an MFMer or DeeperLifer attend services in Christ Embassy, you can hardly find Redeemers listening to the sermons of TB Joshua...yet all these people are carrying out the work of the gospel in one way or the other. Each person may have their flaws, after all we are all humans with like passions, but these men are doing what little they can to further the gospel but painfully THEY ARE NOT OF ONE MIND

Yet a woman takes the risk! If marriage is this overrated and even in a marriage spouses, are taking up all manner insurance policies - purchasing properties secretly and stuff - then why go through the hustle of getting married at all. Why not just adopt kids and live your life without having to look over your shoulders. In addition, I wonder where women keep their eyes and brains when they are about to get married? You marry a man today and in after about a year you are already calling him a useless man but you were so eager to marry this now useless man just 12 months ago! All I can say is that you need to calm down now that you're thinking of making a decision, though separated for 4months already.

You'll need to find a place to talk with her without any interruption. If you watch her body language very well, you may be able to pick her heart, whether she want the relationship back, though this requires some skill, but you'll need to try.

I can feel your heart in this situation, but it shall go well if you trust God in all of these!

What's your relationship with God like? It doesn't matter even if there's none for now, just put your confidence in Him.

CONTINUED...after she divorced her first husband, we clicked and i collected the marriage list but somehow even when the family gave me the list they introduced her to a more wealthier guy whose business concern affect the family fortune positively but the engagement failed and my wife ran back to me. Only foolish parents will push their kids into marriage because at age 16 their kids are getting familiar with peer of the opposite sex. Do those kids know what marriage entails at 16? By the time you push them into marriage at that age and they start realizing the stark realities of marriage will you account for the divorces that will follow? By the time your kids are 25 they would have had 5 divorces by then wouldn't they have become expired sexually? What happened to training your kids on the dangers of casual premarital sex and the virtues of marriage? At age 16 kids ought to have their energies channeled towards building a good foundation for life in their 20s and onwards but you are threatening to marry them off to someone else if they exhibit pubertal tendencies...that you are religious does not require you to be stupid! Train your kids to be great people, teach them sex, teach them to do what is right and when they have come of age they will have concrete reasons to get married...

Implicit in the parents threat is the view that sexual needs alone should be the rationale for marriage and that's plain stupid. Our world has shown that a woman or man need not be a wife or husband to get her or his sexual needs satisfied...marriage ought to deal with other concrete problems other than sexual needs but here are foolish parents who are willing to push their kids into marriage if they exhibit pubertal tendencies...What foolishness...

All of us are cursing the Police. That means that should the Police be 'destroyed' as a result of our curses...who then would take on the criminals for us?

Believing in Jesus is not the centre of the division between most religions it is HOW YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS that is the centre of controversy. The Jews believe Jesus existed once and going by popular oral tradition handed down from generation to generation the Jews see Jesus as a mere teacher who attempted to spread falsehood about himself, falsehood about being the son of GOD! (Food for thought: if the Jews were contrary to Jesus because of His claims to be the son of GOD and then how come Muslims don't also believe that Jesus made this claim since the era of the Jews when they denied Jesus' deity predates Muhammad and the Quran). The Christians starting with his disciples: Peter, John, James, etc believed Jesus to be the son of GOD If the accounts of the gospels are true. The Muslims believed Jesus to be a prophet and nothing more if the Quran is indeed true.

From my observation, all three Abrahamic religions evaluate Jesus, a supernatural being, based on what other men said or wrote. The only way to know a person concretely is to meet with the person, relate with the person, observe the person in different environments and different perspectives and understand the secrets of the person. The Jews believed their Sanhendrin (people), the Christians believe their gospels (writings of people) and the Muslims believe the Quran (acclaimed to be the very words of Allah but not written by Allah directly rather it was written by the people). You cannot know me well by the writings or sayings of anyone, you can only know me well by being my friend at least and relating with me on a personal level! I think everyone should do this with Jesus Christ!

If Jesus was so powerful even more powerful than Muhammad (well according to your Hadiths and Quran; Jesus is the word of GOD but Muhammad is not, Jesus was sinless all through his life but Muhammad had a dirty heart that had to be washed before he embarked on his journey to the Heavens, Jesus outperformed Muhammed in doing miracles and Jesus is made reference to more often than Muhammad himself in the Quran) then how come the intimate followers of such a powerful being misinterpreted his teachings and started teaching falsehood and how come the followers of Muhammad, a less powerful being, did not start teaching falsehood? The manner in which the church of Christ grew since the days of the disciples of Christ was unprecedented and it is illogical to claim that the disciples concocted a falsehood at such a short period in history with no motivation. These disciples left all they had and followed Jesus, according to the gospels, so tell me how someone will abandon all they have and follow a person only to start preaching the opposite of was taught by the master...clearly something is not right!

If Jesus prophesied about Muhammad, then why is there contention about such a prophecy? How come the disciples who followed Jesus about did not catch this prophecy and immediately start teaching about the prophecy leading up to the birth of Muhammad. When a thing was not clear, Peter was almost always observed to ask questions according to the gospels, so it is expected that someone like Peter would have understood that prophecy and popularized but no that is not what happened according to the Acts of the Apostles. So tell me how Jesus would have prophesied about Muhammad and no one took Islam or Muhammad seriously until centuries later...clearly something is not right!

I am curious! How on earth do you know that Allah is the one true supreme deity and that his name is Allah? You knew this by the Quran, the book of Allah, recited by Muhammad, written by his followers. You can attempt to convince me that the Quran was from GOD and that Muhammad recited it...but you cannot convince me that it is still the word of GOD if at some point people, ordinary people, had to write it down. But your reason for accepting that Allah is the supreme being is the writings of mere men. The Christians found proof of the definition of oneness in the Torah which was, according to them, misunderstood by the Jews. Moses wrote: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One." in Deuteronomy 6: 4 and on hearing this the Jews who just did not meditate on the word concluded that One in that passage implies a number! But according to the Christians, the word One implies perfect unity - unity so strong that three persons act as though they are a single person. Any thinker would hence state: if "One" in that passage means unity among persons then how did you arrive at three? Why not four or five or six. Answering this question is the prophecy of Isaiah in the 48 chapter and 16th verse: Come near to Me and listen to this: “From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time it took place, I was there.” And now the Lord GOD has sent me, accompanied by His Spirit. Now here is a being acclaiming He has been from the beginning. Who else is from the beginning save GOD? You may say ohh, "beginning" could mean since the time of Adam, well if you read from the 1st verse of this chapter you will realize that it was this being speaking all along and He spoke as a deity and not a mere man but here is this being saying: He was sent by the Lord GOD and accompanied by His Spirit. Three persons. The gospels followed and provided ample evidence of these same three persons. So tell me how you will blame the Christians for adhering to something that seemed so obvious to them!

If you still feel the Christians are stupid for believing that GOD has a son, the answer the question posed by Proverbs 30:4

The same Sunni Islam that exalts judgment above mercy. The same Sunni Islam that mandates that gay folks and adulterers be killed and not cured of their tendencies to do wrong. Questions arise from this verse: You Muslims claim the prophets were all Muslims, then how come these prophetic Muslims all addressed GOD as YHVH (which was rendered as LORD out of the fear of mentioning that name in vain)? How come you Muslims today don't refer to GOD by that name? You Muslims claim Allah stems from El or Elohim meaning GOD but you all forget that El and Elohim are just titles and not GOD's name so by implication Allah is just a title and not a name. Hence the only recognized name of GOD is YHVH so why don't Muslims adhere to the tradition set out by Muslim prophets before them? Again, you Muslims claim Allah stems from the word El, Elohim but you all are ignorant of the fact that the word: Elohim is plural and not singular? Why was Paul making a joke of Christianity by saying in Galatians 5:12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you? Paul should have simply prayed the prayer of "sheepish love" by asking for the repentance of those who tried to persuade the Galatians from the right path instead of wishing they be cut off.

Was the HolySpirit also making a joke of Christianity when He inspired John into writing in John 3:19 ...but he that believeth not is condemed already... Why on earth will the HolySpirit claim that those who haven't received Jesus are condemned already when some of them haven't even been preached to at all?

Lol, I cannot waste my precious life studying scriptures that have no life in them...I'd rather study the scriptures that says I should abstain from all sexual immorality. I'd rather follow in the footsteps of a perfect being like Jesus who had no flaws and no sins (Islam even agrees to this). I'd rather study the scriptures that says I can gain paradise and be a son of the Most High GOD. I'd rather study the scriptures that says "the thoughts of GOD towards are thoughts of good and not evil to bring me to an expected end"! Its simple: No matter how perfect Muslims are they remain slaves because they claim so daily and slaves have no access to the inheritance but Christians no matter how imperfect and flawed are sons because they claim so daily and sons have access to the inheritance of GOD...You ultimately become what you say about yourself!

Nevertheless when I place the life of Jesus side by side Muhammad...I can't help but say Jesus remains the unbeatable standard of righteousness, wisdom, purity and glory. Secondly, near death experiences of most people according to witnesses (though I stand to be corrected) mostly point to Jesus. Thirdly Islamic scriptures, the Tanakh and the so called new testament scriptures all point to Jesus...in fact even the Buddhists believe Jesus walked this earth and even claim he was a Buddhist...Lastly, I have seen countless awesome impossible feats achieved in the name of Jesus...This should make anyone wonder who this Jesus is and why He features so prominently in virtually every sphere of life!

I believe everyone is entitled to their beliefs but yet there can only be one truth. We could all be wrong and some may be wrong while others right but it does not change the fact that there can only be one truth...and if GOD is spirit then the truth must be in the spirit and it is only in the spirit the truth can be found!

Don't mind the evil people of this country. They commit all manner of evil and pin it on Fulani herdsmen.
