Where should i start? I have been reading this thread for a while and I have come to the conclusion that a lot of females (and some males) are either unreal or just plain hypocrites. Who ever said a housewife must sit at home and do nothing? That is a silly generalization. It's just like saying all ibo people are , or all yoruba people are , . Come on! Yes i agree some women sit on their butts and do nothing to contribute to the home but for goodness sake that is THEIR CHOICE. A lot of females running their mouths here saying they cannot be house wives or stay at home moms seem to me to be either unmarried or don't have kids yet and even if they do and they want to leave their kids with helps or family, again that is THEIR CHOICE. Why sit and judge?@ Fhemmy, a child raised by a stay a home mom will not necessarily grow up clingy. Have you seen Margaret Thatcher type housewives? ![]() Circumstances and situations contribute to a woman becoming a housewife or stay at home mom. That does not mean they have suddenly become lesser females. A woman can be a housewife AND earn an income. It has been said over and over but some are still saying God forbid like it is a sin. Raising children no easy o! Housewife work no easy o! But to each his own. As for me, yes i can be housewife but i must have something doing. In fact I have my own business that gives me cool money and flexible hours which is what every mother desires so she can spend time with their children and ensure they grow up properly and not MTV raising them. @ Chaircover, you are real and make plenty sense @ Consultant a beautiful example of a real woman who understands life and priorities change when one has kids. Being a stay at home is not the end of the world and it is not a bad thing I salute all correct housewives ![]() |

I dont wanna believe you are actually cooking the food if you dont complain about salt ![]() Thats always the first problem of beginners. Its either its not enough or its too much. I advise you to try the cookings out so you will ask if there are questions because there will always be. @ teachers, weldone.[/quote]Very good point. Brein defend thyself. |

It has been a while since i made porridge but only cos my hubby doesn't like it. Here goes: Ingredients: yam, tomatoes, pepper, red oil, scent leaf (efirin), dry or smoked fish (your choice), onions. 1. Grind tomatoes and pepper to a smooth or slightly rough paste (u only need a little). 2. Slice scent leaf and set it aside, clean fish and set it aside(if u use dry fish u have to soak it in hot water for a bit). 3. Fry tomato paste in red oil with a bit of knorr or maggi cubes 4. Boil yam till it is really soft. 5. Add fried tomato paste, fish, scent leaf and some chopped onions(optional) 6. Allow to boil for about 5 mins and it's ready Of course you know you should add salt. Instead of scent leaf u can use a bit of ugu leaf or leave it plain if you like. Adding vegetable makes it look more appealing. N20 scent leaf will do. Try it and lemme know. |

ifyalways:It takes a while to build up to 1000 skips. I love skipping so i can skip 200 at a go,so i skip 200 5 times and i make 1000skips. You can work up to 100 skips and try 10 cycles or 50 skips 20 times. ![]() For your thighs, do lots of squats and cycling exercises. I am no expert but i know this works to firm up the thighs. Good luck! @ trimandtrendy, i have a question (sorry for derailing the thread). I had/have ulcer and it was diagnosed early but whenever i don't eat well,it rises up again and i find myself eating anything that comes my way because of the pain for like 3 days to a week before it stops. As a result i find it hard to reduce my meals to the ones posted here(admirable as they are). I have reduced my portions but i am worried i'll feel ulcer pains soon again. What can i do? Once again, sorry for derailing the thread. |

Hate the gold dress, she looks terrible in it. Unfortunately she says that's her favorite color. The black is cute but why are all the gowns sweeping the ground? How does she walk around in that? ![]() |
ifyalways:Yes I know,i was merely trying to point out to Oyinda that some women are riding okada in Nigeria. I also mentioned I haven't seen a female okada rider carrying anyone commercially. |
