Exercise - 1000 skips, 50 squats, 50 situps, 17 pushups

Food
b/fast - 4slices of bread and quaker oats (i woke up very very hungry)
lunch - 3 kemps cracker biscuits and a cup of tea
supper - jollof rice and veg with smoked fish

Water - 3L

Today's log 9th July

Exercise: 1000 skips, 14 push ups, 50 sit ups, 50 squats, walking around for about 3 hours(aba shopping centre is big!)

Food:
B/fast - 3 slices of bread, vegetable sauce and a cup of tea
Lunch - 2 wraps of moinmoin and 350ml low fat yoghurt
Dinner - 3 small pcs of yam and fried egg (fastest thing i could cook when i got home)

Water - approx 3L

Great news all (these are tears of joy ) i was able to wear a long time love of mine; a UK size 12 Dorothy Perkins jean trousers. This is working!

@ amosexy,you need to wear a sports bra while skipping,it'll hold your breasts well. Don't know about the sagging bit ,yams at the back of your legs? I doubt but the muscles there will get firm and that is a good thing cos it helps to burn fat. I also feel u on some clothes just can't be let go off.

@ GEW, i don't need your forgiveness. Swallow it. Where did i rubbish virgins? Where did i say being a non-virgin should be the norm? Do couples now wed without doing HIV test first? Is sex the only way the disease can be transmitted?

I see you conveniently deleted the part about "if i had bothered to remain a virgin for 3 weeks then i would know how easy it is to do so". No matter, I forgave you long time ago.

Correction: I never double spoke, i said in my opinion a lady being a virgin(as a criteria to marriage) doesn't matter. IN MY OPINION. I also said a virgin(wife) could make an awful wife and vice versa. Explain to me how the double speaking happened? We are talking about what makes a good wife, as far as i am concerned virginity is not the only contributing factor. No wahala dear, i have plenty time today. You just have to find time to exercise if you want to achieve your goals. Luckily for me, my hours are flexible. Oh, and i read somewhere that a woman was using her baby as dumbell,so From my understanding, weight loss done the right way takes some time so chill. I have given myself 6 months to see good changes as opposed to the 1 month fix i used to look for.

My husband loves the way i am now9he likes flesh ) but i am not satisfied. I chose 70kg cos he won't allow me go back to my slim shape in my uni days, said i look malnourished there but that's where he first saw me . he buys cakes and chocolate biscuits for me. When i complain i'm fat, he looks and says he doesn't know why i am disturbing myself. So i decided to motivate myself especially when i could no longer fit into size 16 clothes . Now i can and i want to get down to size 12 or 14 but it most be 70kg. Since your husband is urging you to lose weight please do,do it for yourself and for him. Anytime you are demotivated, holla at me and you can weigh in every sunday like trim does.

@ uchey, i feel you well! I haven't checked my weight since i started exercising but only cos i don't have a scale. I also don't check cos once i do and see i have lost weight,i binge. I am de-motivated. Last week i exercised for only 4 days. Yesterday i skipped just 500 but did a lot of walking around for about 4 hours. Today i haven't even tried to exercise. But i keep reading here cos it kind of motivates me.

A good way to motivate yourself is envisioning what you want to achieve. I still have the clothes i grew bigger than(i refused to buy new ones ) so whenever i have to wriggle into one,i have a fresh burst of inspiration. I have a pair of shorts i had to put away cos it was so tight, now i'm wearing it with no issues at all. When i'm demotivated,i wear them to remind me how far i have come.Also i see changes in my body everyday. My waist area was straight before now it actually curves! I have decided to do some work outs this afternoon or evening which i'll post here. It's also good to set a weight goal and determine to achieve it. My weight goal is 70kg, a long way off but i'll get there even though my husband is a major saboteur to my weight loss program. You guys actually intimidate me with your meals. I hope to be like you one day. Nite : one egg and another 1L of water, and a portion of pineapple So help me God.

I guess the reason those women gave those replies is probably because they have resigned themselves to their fate or their roles in their marriages. Sad but true. A lot of women especially here in Nigeria just endure their marriages mostly cos they have kids or they feel well their mothers endured so why should their own be different.

Fidelity is very important in marriage and if the man has an itch he should scratch it with his wife. Some women even cause thier own issues,all this talk of men not wanting to turn their wives into sex machines. the truth is that some women just become very lazy in that department especially after a kid or two. What do they now expect the man to do? Sex is important to a guy and should not be relegated to once a week or once in 2 weeks

No his characteristics are not typical of the Nigerian man, any man of any nationality can exhibit those. I agree with Thonia Slim,if you can't take it then leave. Marriage is to be enjoyed not endured. I don't mean to sound negative but it's very hard to change a person. Unless that person decides to change and actually does it then there's no hope of change. It can be hard especially with a child in the picture but you need to think of what you want and what you can put up with and make a decision. Wish you all the best.

I did and i think it's a good idea to have a list of qualities that one desires in a spouse. True not all might be met but then one should select the must haves and decide which qualities can be lived without. IMO, a list increases the likelihood of compatibility(after a reasonable period of dating to test the theory). Some lists are demanding but hey it's the person's list.

You can go into the food canning business. Mass-produce canned vegetables - the ones used in cooking stew - so housewives can just warm your product and add water or oil to make their stew!

NEPA makes it hard for people to use deep freezers to preserve their food, so canning might be a better option. Canned peppersoup, canned okra, etc. You might not even invest up to $1 million and you'll make a lot more.

Lunch - 1 chicken pie, veg salad and 35oml yoghurt
