shanda: Bring it on! What do you have that other guys don't? Abeg shift! You should thank God that i'm not one of your ex then you'll know that that persistence that gives you so much confidence is actually a feeling that can be quenched. ![]() stillwater:Yes o! Very possible but for the mature minds and bodies ![]() |
sexybabes:How do you block numbers on your phone? I need to learn that skill. As for the no meeting up thing i do that for those exes i do not trust. I can smell their lust form far ![]() |
Dollarama:At the risk of sounding funny, why is this? |
sexybabes:Like i said some have become my very good friends. I usually meet up with them for genuine reasons e.g. my car spoilt at ijebu ode and i do not know the place well so i pick up my phone and call the only person i can at the time, i am in lagos for a week and have to get to Ikeja(i hate that place!) and guess who lives around there and can direct me to where i'm going or better still take me there. Bottomline is my meetings are a mix of business and pleasure. To be honest,i meet up when i need something from them and catch up while we meet up ![]() If you can't handle the meet ups then don't. |
follypimpi:This is not always true. follypimpi:I also guarantee it is not a rule. shanda: Feelitx:You guys have obviously not met someone like me. @ Poster, as for experiences, i have met up with several of my exes, still keep in touch with some to date actually, and it has not been an issue only because i set boundaries AND controlled the meeting. I met up with an ex of mine last week, we had lunch, he made some flirty remarks which i dismissed pronto and we went our separate ways in peace. The exes i keep in touch with are my very good friends now so if this your ex can translate into one, cool. Also it took some time to translate into that plus a demonstration of plenty discipline to drum into their heads that once de be is not always de be ![]() |
moteazy:Then why give the number, will he kill you if you don't? ![]() |
I presume that you are not married. Meeting up with an ex can be tough because dying embers can catch new fire. I don't think you should be worried about his plans rather be worried about yourself. If you must go, arm yourself with self control and self discipline. |
You're in the wrong section. Go to romance. |
![]() Very funny |
Hehehehehehe ![]() I haven't travelled out of naija but i can imagine. I second the plane thing, i am yet to get used to taking off and landing. Something about a big plane defying gravity doesn't gel even to a scientist like me ![]() OneNaija:Bros i no blame you at all. It isn't easy to see different things. Man must look is that not what eyes are for? I would look o! |
@ mmo1, check out this website www.cic.gc.ca. It's very good. Take your time to read it, it's self explanatory but if you have any questions then holla at me. I am just beginning the process myself but wanted info from people who've gone through the process. mmo1:Choose which visa you are interested in. Federal skilled worker and temporary work visa are 2 very different things with different requirements but read through the website. Good luck. |
Hi all, i am wondering if i can get the recipe for omiebe soup. It is an Ishan dish made using palm kernel. I am particularly interested in the leaf that is used to make it. Some people also call it black soup although it is really dark green in color. |
Nezan: i am serious victim but as per this is naija, people understand. Imagine driving in heels |
Sweet ride! |
blacksta: Bros, weather hot, that's why the bare feet driving. I disagree that bare foot driving is dangerous. There is plenty friction and when one is used to it it's easy. For me, shoe driving is a bit dangerous cos i experience no friction. But i'm working on it cos bare feet driving no possible outside naija. ![]() |
Personally i prefer foot driving but it's really inconvenient when you have to stop, come down, go somewhere and do it all over again all day! I think it's good to learn shoe driving. |
@ dominique, thanks. ![]() |
Lai lai! For wetin? |
kathyekiti:Abeg help me ask them. It's only the woman they will remember to punish as if she climbed on top of herself. |
femolante:When did you do your test? |
You need to get back to Nigeria and get to NYSC Abuja. They are the only ones who can help you out. |
@ yousouph, you were right. I was concerned about how possible it was for a 5 yr old girl to deliver scientifically but Mr. BrownJay has answered my question beautifully by supplying that the girl got her period when she was 8 months old. That means she developed prematurely, same thing with the 8yr old Nigerian girl. But na wa o! |
michelin89:@ michelin89, i am positive it is not bitter leaf. I watched my mom prepare this soup when i was little and we never washed it like bitter leaf, rather we blend it, the leaf is a bit peppery not bitter at all. I know bitter leaf,it is definitely not bitter leaf. I have asked my mother for the name of this leaf and she said she doesn't know the name but knows it when she sees it in the market. I think I'll make enquiries at the food section. |
richdadeze: elozino: trust that it will be men that will say punish abortion with death sentence. Who the hell are you to judge? All this talk of abortion being illegal, it is happening a dozen a day if y'all don't know. I applaud Mr Brown Jay for his reasons, they sound clean and logical. Forget silly emotions, you just cannot force your own opinion on women or girls. I say if a lady wants to have an abortion it is HER choice whatever the reason. |
What is Amniocentesis? Bros, think am twice. It's a gamble for two AS to marry because of the risk of having an SS child. I had a friend that was SS in secondary school. Just watching her when she fell into a crisis was sad enough, watching one's child do that can be heart breaking. God forbid as we say but shine ya eye and do your part. |
@ poster, so the 5 year old mother thing is fake. The 10 year old thing is possible, that one i go agree, because some girls attain puberty really fast. It's saddening, some of them get pregnant and don't even know what is happening to them ![]() |
@ michelin89, no i do not mean bitter leaf soup. It's a soup that is made from a combination of palm kernel concentrate and a leaf that is grinded. Everything is boiled together. It's called omiebe and looks very dark green. It's an Esan dish that's why i am asking here. I don't know the name of the leaf used. ![]() |
debosky:Are you for real? Where you dey see am drink? As for me, I drink water like a camel, morning, afternoon and night! Nothing beats water. |
How possible? Let's not even talk of who impregnated her, what about her reproductive organs? At that age the girl shouldn't even have sex hormones!(at least fully developed and functioning ones). Haba! According to the biology them teach us for school, a girl has to start menstruating before she can get pregnant. At 5 her ovaries are not fully developed not to talk of releasing an egg that will become fertilized. Is that report for real? Where did the girl even get the womb to hold the pregnancy for 9 months? I am shocked beyond words. |
Most people are for olive here but i heard that it is high in calories. This was given as the reason why only little quantity is used in cooking. I always wondered why in cook books you see 3 tablespoons of olive oil and when i read the reason above i thought it made sense. So is this true? Or can one use olive oil in any quantity one likes? |
