. Lagos #EndSARS Panel: Witness faults autopsy report tendered by pathologist
A witness of last year’s #EndSARS protest in Lekki, Sarah Ibrahim, has faulted portions of the autopsy reports tendered by a forensic pathologist to the judicial panel of inquiry on Saturday.

John Obafunwa, a chief pathologist at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), had told the panel investigating the shooting of protesters at the Lekki tollgate in October 2020 that 99 corpses were received at the state morgue between October 20 and 24 last year.

He said that three of the corpses – males – were victims of the October 20 shooting at the Lekki toll gate by soldiers, while the remaining 96 came from other parts of the state, including Surulere Ikorodu, Ajah, Fagba, among others.

The professor then produced the post-mortem examination reports to verify his testimony as ordered by the panel.

Meanwhile, Ms Ibrahim had in April said she witnessed the shooting by soldiers at the Lekki tollgate. She testified before the panel on Saturday. She said at least 10 persons were killed during the October 20 incident.

Cross-examination
While answering questions at the panel last month, Mr Obafunwa had walked back his earlier claim of three corpses being recovered at the Lekki toll gate. He said the bodies were recovered from the Lekki area. Of those three, according to him, two were tagged ‘EndSars’ and were, therefore, from the toll gate.

During cross-examination on Saturday, the Lagos State counsel, Abiodun Owonikoko, compared Ms Ibrahim’s account of the Lekki shooting incident with the autopsies done on three of the 99 bodies picked up
from across the state.

The three corpses were identified as 005, 041, and 062. The autopsy report noted that 062 died from rifle shots at around 9 p.m. on October 21.

But Ms Ibrahim disagreed, saying that 062’s death occurred on October 20, at 1:23 a.m. She also said one of the three bodies, which the autopsy reported blunt force as the cause of death, was shot in the head.

ⓘ
She also identified one of the dead bodies, stating that “his death was confirmed at Reddington hospital” in Lekki, Lagos.

ALSO READ: Autopsy report of woman killed during protest counters police account
When probed further, she said the corpse was brought into the hospital the following day, October 21, from the tollgate around 6 a.m. by two people who wished to be anonymous.

The witness also outlined the names of about 12 persons allegedly shot and killed by security forces that night, including one Victor Sunday, whose body is said to be among those still missing, and one Olamilekan
Ajasa, whose body was retrieved by his mother.

The pathologist’s findings on 041 reveal a skull fracture, sutured scalp laceration, left fifth rib fracture, and hypertension.

But the report also noted that the corpse had been tampered with possibly from the mortician that worked on it, which allegedly hampered an in-depth examination.

Liar. No pathologist said that 9 bodies were from the toll gate. What he said was that 3 of the bodies were labelled Endsars Lekki and only one had gunshot wounds. He couldn’t confirm if the labelling was correct since he wasn’t the one who took the bodies to the mortuary. He was only reporting on what he was told.

And people seem to ignore the fact that Lekki is much more than just the toll gate. There were shootings all over the Lekki axis that night including inside Lekki Phase 1.

. A Lagos pathologist testified that he examined 99 corpses and 9 of them were from Lekki Toll Gate.Did submissions not make before the panel for those that died? Where did ASSUMPTION come from in the report? Who is fooling whom? If the report is based on investigation with legal representatios in attendance and it was rejected why wasting time of panel members for about 1 year? I was not there on that day Sanwo Olu ,Layi Mohammed and most panel members were not there either. However the panel found out that 9 were killed with pathological reports tendered before the panel and accepted by all legal representatios. Did people not come to testify before the panel? Our leaders must be ready to accept their mistakes and stop playing politics about the lives of innocent citizens.

Your information is not based on real-time education industry experience. In academics today, if you are applying for an Assistant LWith ecturer position with a PhD in view on your CV, you mile's ahead of other applicants who have not started. If you mean on documents requiring statement of qualification (for example CV), it is stated as PhD (in view). Thanks.
. However PhD in view is meaningless for it adds no special value until the program is completed. Fir example if you are on your PhD you will be employed based on your MA or MSC. If you are on your MA or MSC you will be employed based on your BA or Bsc. So in view program has no value in academics until it is completed.

Ndlistic:
OAU MBA Student Death, 12 More Facts Emerge - Vanguard For The Truth Foundation

12 more facts have emerged on the case of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife MBA student, Timothy Adegoke Oludare whose disappearance and eventual death has been generating a lot of controversies in the past couple of days and has led to the arrest of the owner and 6 staff of the hotel where he allegedly lodged before his disappearance.

Aderibigbe Adekunle of the Vanguard for Truth Foundation, a non-governmental organisation made it known that;

1. There are indications that there are some new revelations about some of accusations made against the Ife-born educationist and business man especially by the brother of the deceased who has been going all over various media to accuse the hotelier of using his brother for rituals

2. It was gathered that the initial denial of the hotel management as to whether Adegoke lodged with them was because there was no record of any payment by him in the Hotel’s account, but it was later that it was detected that he made payment into the personal account of the receptionist which normally is wrong.

3. Another fact discovered during the investigations was that the hotel had operated for less than 2 years and had never recorded any death as the public was led to believe by the deceased brother.

4. Also, the lady receptionist who was recently employed by the hotel is on a salary of twenty-five thousand naira (N25,000) and not two hundred thousand naira (N200,000) as being spread in some media

5. It was discovered that the person called Alfa which could be misinterpreted as an Islamic cleric and possibly a spiritualist or ritualist is actually a plumber and maintenance manager in the hotel and is neither a cleric nor a ritualist.

6. As a very busy person, Dr. Adedoyin is not personally involved in the day-to-day running of the hotel in question as he has other more important businesses which include

5 tertiary institutions within and outside Nigeria, security outfit, publishing and hospitality business.
7. It was also found out that Adedoyin did not become rich overnight like many wealthy Nigerians, but has been in the business of education for more than 40 years starting as home lesson teacher, owner of tutorial college, a private polytechnic, and a university before venturing into the hotel business.

8. From investigations on the fees and population of Oduduwa University alone, Adedoyin obviously makes money aside from universities owned by him in the USA and Ghana where they pay in dollars and many other businesses and investments that have good returns, so he does not need any ritual.

9. It was also discovered that Dr Adedoyin is a devout Muslim who has performed holy pilgrimage to Mecca and Jerusalem several times. He has also greatly contributed to the development of Ife land and Osun State

10. Contrary to the claim that the exhumed Timothy’s corpse was mutilated, the whole body parts were intact and the autopsy being conducted was to discover the cause of death.

11. A fact being overlooked by many is that according to the earlier statement by the wife, the deceased was sick when he left home, and that was one of the reasons the wife kept checking on him by phone calls.

12. Also, Timothy’s elder brother openly threatened to tarnish and destroy Adedoyin’s name and his businesses and has been doing just that, on different social media platforms to drag Oduduwa University into a matter that happened at a hotel.

. Thank you Nairaland for allowing me to express my views on this matter. We are talking about the life of a promising Nigerian here. He was killed in his prime by wicked Nigerians. It is disheartening that Truth Vanguard ,sponsored by the hotelier ,Adedoyin Richard, and those behind it are callous for defending all the accussed especially the hotelier. When has the Truth Vanguard become a court of law? Their claims and report indicate that they are ignorant and those behind the organisation must be arrested and charged with complicity in the murder if Adegoke Timothy. It is on record that the kiiling of Adegoke is a calculated attempt by those arrested for the crime. They have forgotten there is God who will reward everybody whatever he or she does . To clarify the stupidity and ignorance of the Truth Vanguard, consider the following: 1 In the night of the murder the receptionist was asked not to use the account of the hotel for the transaction so as to cover the hotel management 2 The reception could be given 20000 as salary but 20000 for each shady deal in the hotel. 3 The hotel wrappings were used to cover Adegoke for his untimely burial. 4 Those involved in the case confessed to the crime and the involvement of the hotelier.5 The tracking of the phone and the receipt kept by the wife of the deceased led the police to the hotel. 6 The hotel workers have removed the copy of the receipt issued to the deceased. 7. The hotelier denied logement of Adegoke but invextgation shows he lodged there.
Finally if those arrested are guilty let the justice take place. Life of a man is sacred. if. Truth Vanguard has a case on the matter it should write to the CP of Osun and copy IG in Abuja. The killing of Adegoke should not be carpeted. Justice for Adegoke lives on until it is secured.

. Andy Uba has every right to reject the outcome of the election and go to the Tribunal to seek redress. He is only exercising his constitunal rights. However in my opinion it is a waste of time and money. to do so for the following reasons 1 The Igbo kingdom is driven by what is on ground to vote during an election. In 2015 and 2019 it voted PDP because of Obi Peter but in 2021 Anambra gubernatorial election ,it voted APGA because of its belief in late Ojjukwu Biafra legacies which Kanu is leading now. 2 BVS is not in our constitution it is developed by INEC . So if it failed to work as claimed by Uba INEC reserves the right to let people vote as long as their names and pictures are on the voters' list. 3 Where are irregularities and manipulation? In what way have they affected the outcome of the election ? What could have been the results of the election if there were no irregularities? 4 Many people defected to APC on the eve of the election as claimed by Uba.How does this portend who will win the election? Is it not possible to be in APC and vote APGA? Uba should know that APC voted APGA in the election. 5 That election results are on the site of APGA means nothing. They can be anywhere but it is the INEC resukts that we will follow. In sum all the Uba 's allegations hold no water and legal battle on the election is just an academic exercise. If the result of the election is the wish of Igbo kingdom in Anambra so be it.It is their state and they are deciders of the person who rules as their Governor.

If it is UTI it will go finally if it is std it may prove stubborn at times. At any rate discuss with your doctor for another round of antibiotics that can fulky kill the cuktured bacteria

In Urine analysis i guess is UTI and in urine culture, bacteria was detected.
I also did a pelvic scan with little issues....
. If bacteria is detected in your urinalysis and the bacterial is cultured you should have been given appropriate antibiotics. However note that as a man UTI can be funny. When combated with antibiotics it will run and hide under prostate so as to
avoid antibiotics. FROM there it will regain strength again and lauch a come back. Nuerofruyointon is good for bladder infection .It will vkean your bladder. My question is has a medical doctor prescribed an antibiotics for you based on your urine culture? Which ?

Any one who has successfully treated infection should please help my life o.

20's.
I'm tired of running tests with same results but No successful treatments for 6 months. I'm about to run mad now, my brain is just filled up and my body is under inflammation with fever.

I was diagnosed with STI which came with frequent urinating, burning urine, pelvic inflammation, lower abdominal pain and intestinal inflammation.
i have also done pelvic scan, abdominal scan, urine culture, urine analysis, Sugar test. I'm ulcer patient too.

I have done tests from different hospitals and I might patronise another doctor soon. Even mama agbo(herbal seller) is tired of my case.

I just finished taking my last injection plus the heavy drugs I'm on now, and no sign of relieve. And When ever I'm done with any treatment, the symptoms reappear again.

I don't really know if I'm taking the right medications. Doctors please help a dieing man.
