.It seems APC case at the tribunal is also about qualification of Obasek...The tribunal is saddled with resbonsiblity of looking into matters relating to an election before during and after the process is over.
fergie001: I don't know why you are still on this.
A faction wanted to kill the case but the Court threw away their appeal and fined them heavily, and continued with the actual case that collapsed.
ANDP didn't kill their case, they pursued it to a logical conclusion and lost the case.
Since, it was scuttled..why haven't they gone to the SC?
This particular case is at the tribunal.
INEC didn't disqualify ANDP...they disqualified themselves by sending in a defective candidate.
Infact, they had no candidate because they couldn't stand on one leg.
They were lawfully excluded.
. Yes I Remember now that the judges did not allow the withdrawal of the case at the 11 hour and judgement was given. On it ..Thank you for reminding me..
Federal government is interested in paying Lecturers from a source at once.. ASUU disagrees because with IPPIS it will be difficult to lecture in three places at a time.My opinion is that the Federal government reserves the right to pay its emplyees as it likes.
fergie001: This matter is a pre-election matter and will be thrown out eventually.
It is the one APC filed in July @ the FHC that should be of keen interest.

. It is of interest that the INEC said it lacks power to disqualify a candidate Only the court can.I said this in the case of ANDP against Diri election. However ANDP coluded with PDP to KILL the case. As for the timing of this case I dont know the time it was instituted .
it seems the second round of Endsars will be caused by the government .You want peace but arresting Endsars leaders.Did you see them among the arsonists or looters? Any video to support their arrest ? There is indeed more protest to come as a result of the poor advice given to the presidency and state governors by their misguided advisers
it seems the second round of Ensars will be caused by the government .You want peace but arresting aendsars leaders.Did you see them among the arsonists or looters? Any video to support tthem? There is indeed more to come by the poor advice given to the presidency against the Nigeria and its policy
. If there are many kidnapping. gangs in a place American security operatives have a gun that they will use to make all them sleep at a time.Is there any thing like that in Nigeria? The gap between America and Nigeria is so wide that it will take. 1million years to close it
fergie001: The write-up never stated he was evading service.
You can pray the Court to grant substituted service when the person cannot be served personally within the jurisdiction of the Court.
It is exparte and because of time, the tribunal granted expressly.

. That he cannot be reached does not stop the hearing of the case.If he is still out of reach. the court can order that the invitation to court be pasted on the door of his office or his house or the PDP secretariat. If this is done and nobody comes out to represent him after a consider period of time the hearing will continue to his own peril. There is nothing to worry about .He will seek the service of lawyers for his defence soon.

The boy identified as Gift Osayuhi was arrested for allegedly joining the gang of hoodlums that attacked Oba Market police station at Evbuotubu area of Benin City. Confirming the development on Friday October 30, Mr Edokpayi thanked the Edo State Commissioner of Police, CP Johnson Kokumo and the State Ministry of Justice for their understanding and cooperation.
He also disclosed that the boy, whose mother is a widow, said that his dream is to become the IGP.
. I thank all those who secured the bail of the boy and gave h a scholarship..... The boy is innocent with his age and some social factors have been having effects on him...Thank you all for this step
Dansuqi: Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the October 10 governorship election in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede, has filed petition at the tribunal challenging the victory of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. Governor Akeredolu won in 15 out of the 18 local government areas to lead Jegede with a wide margin at the polls.
. Jegede is trying to put it on record that he chalenges the victory of Akeredolu. He himself knows he cannot win the case.Irregularity and violence ? Where? Even if there are some cases they cannot be enough to affect the results of the election. The petition is hereby struck out at no cost to the petitioner.
. Soldiers were invited to Leki by the trio of PMB Sanwoolu and Burutai.Reports have it that Some dead bodies were moved away by the soldiers to possibly cover up their presence.Where are the bodies now? If truly they died why are their parents silent till today? The panel of enquiry made attempt to check the dead bodies at the mortuary but were denied access by the security. Why denying them the access? Sahara report has it that 20 bodies were moved away and post mortem carried out on them that night of 20 10. 2020. before taking them to IDC mortuary. Under that condition is it possible to carry out post mortem quickly that night? I believe somebody will leak the footage of this step by the army.We want thorough investigation on Leki shooting so as to a certain the actual number of those that died and those injured in the massacre.
. What I saw in Osun like other states in Nigeria is disturbing. Our governments hvoarded v flood for masses in different halls across the country. This is an indication that Nigerian states are governed by thieves and selfish people.
Does she have a marriage certificate ? If yes she should have used it to process her posting to Camp on a compassionate ground... If she has it now she can now process her redeployment to where her husband is now.If she does not have a wedding certificate she may finish her service where she is posted to now. However she will be exempted from camp activities because of her condition .

. Lagos is angry now.IBILE has been disappointed with Leki shooting...IBILE means Ikeja. Badagry. Ikorodu. Lagos Island and Epe.When IBILE is angry Nigeria must feel it.
The Nigerian politicians have failed us woefully. And disappointed youths. Those looting are not hoodlums but frustrated and hungry Nigerians that have lost hope and trust in the politicians ..Food was kept across Nigeria when Masses are suffering...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgsQuogvFeE[/quote]. Leki Toll Gate was burnt down The street scavengers have searched the place for iron materials.Which camera has been found by Fasola? This is a manipulation attempt of extenuating Leki. shooting!
. Nigerian politicians are wicked selfish and greedy.Covid items are kept in warehouses across the country. It disheartens me to see how Nigerians take bull by the horns by taking not looting what they deserve .Many got nothing from politicians as palliatives during covid. These are the people who voted in the sun and in the rain for them. All politicians are the same. Anybody who follows them is wasting his time energy and FUTURE.
Cutezt: It wasn’t a pleasant sight to witness as shop owners cried to God after seeing their shop raided by the thugs.
Some of the women could barely stand on their feet as they were left shocked seeing their years of hard work taken away from them in one day. According to a media report, the thugs have broken into every store to steal valuable items worth billions of Naira.
The mall was not spared in their raid as it has most goodies they wanted. A quick look into the mall sees all items carted away with nothing left behind.
. Looting of shops belonging yo innocent citizens is an act of theft .Endsars protest is not synonymous to looting and theft.Whoever is arrested in this ignominious act must be ready to face consequences...
This is a meaningless and clueless speech which is a departure from Nigerian expectation on the realities of the issue on ground. It looks like a campaign speech. Anybody who thinks New Nigeria will come from this administration should have a rethinking.
bolaayenimo: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has written an eight paragraph letter to President Muhammadu Buhari asking him to address Nigerians on the state of the nation.
Statement by H_E Olusegun Obasanjo on the violence and chaos across Nigeria
STATEMENT ON VIOLENCE AGAINST PROTESTERS IN NIGERIA: AN APPEAL FOR CALM
It is With a heavy heart and a deep sense of concern about the ongoing violence, chaos and unrest In many parts of Nigeria that I make this appeal to the government and people of our dear country, Nigeria to eschew violence and embrace peace and dialogue in finding solutions to the challenges we face as a country.
I particularly appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari, in his capacities as President of Nigeria, Commander ln-Chicf of the Armed Forces, and as a parent of youth like the ones who have in the last week come out in peaceful protest against police brutality and for improvement in their lives and their living conditions to restrain the military and other security agencies from using brute force as a way of ending the crisis.
The shooting and murder of unarmed protesters no matter the level of provocation, has never been effective in supressing public anger and frustration. Instead, such actions only reinforce the anger and frustrauon of the populace and close the window of dialogue and peaceful resolution.
It is clear that Mr President and his lieutenants did not exhaust the opportunities for dialogue with the protesters before resorting to use of force. It is worse that there is denial of wrongdoing in spite of overwhelming visual evidence. Great harm has been done but it can be stopped before it completely spirals out of control.
We are at a critical moment in this crisis and Mr. President must act now before it is too late. This time demands leadership and mature leadership at such.
Most of the demands of the protesting youth. which Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State swiftly took to the President, are not unreasonable and can be met without anyone's polincal interest or ambition being threatened. It is imperative that leaders at all levels, starting with Mr. President, must demonstrate weakness, humanity and sincerity in meeting the legitimate demands of the protesters and ensuring that justice is served where it must be served. These are the most potent ways of ending this crim's now.
The youth too must give peace a chance while making their legitimate demands. They must be mindful of miscreants who will infiltrate their ranks and give the protests a bad name only so that trigger-happy forces will lnll them. The destrucnon and loonng of public and private properties Will only hurt all of us and set us back. The targeting of individuals and groups for attacks and reprisal attacks will only further widen our divisions, escalate the crisis and threaten our fragile unity.
This is yet another moment when our nation is on the edge of a cliff. Our individual and collective actions now and in the next few days will determine where we will go as a Nation. May God help us in taking the right steps in the right direction.
I
OLUSEGUN OBASANJO
I don't think OBJ remembers the innocent souls you killed at Odi with General Victor Malu....If you forget we remember.
Eeica2020: Moment Nigerian flag was pulled down from the Nigerian High Commission in the UK as older Nigerians join the protest against police brutality.
