(d) Where the proceedings is wanting in bona fide, and frivolous, vexation, oppressive or amounts to abuse of legal procedure or improper legal process.

NB: If you call it an abuse of Court Process, that means cases that came up at the Edo tribunal should as well be thrown out, what do you think?

The concern should be....when was this case filed?
Was the legal process intact?
Did the Court have jurisdiction?

The judgement is an attempt to scuttle what may be the outcome of the APC vrs Obaseki case.In my opinion it is an attempt by the rulling party to ambush APC.A federal appeal court will soon rule on a stay of execution on the matter and gradually we have what will look like Oshiomole chairman tussle when court orders were overriding one another. Additionally a preelection matter is better handles by a federal high court not a state high court whose judgement can be overuled at night.in view of that the state court has no jurisdiction to entertain the case...As for abuse of court process, a federal court has struck out a suit challenging Aufus qualification before if I am not mistaken.Why going to a state court? We await other events as they unfold on this matter

I wish those supporting Obaseki on this case based on their hatred for Oshiomhole will realize that this case is the foundation laid by the PDP in 2016... If Olujimi wanted to finish this case finally, He would have asked the court to order Dan Orbih to appear in the witness box with the letter the Abuja High court wrote to his chambers in 2016 denying issuing the Affidavit Obaseki presented to INEC.
Hard and bad time for Obaseki and his legal team..

Which Sunday will 180 days elapse? If it is 10 January the PDP may be given two days for its defence a day for INEC while the judgement will be given on Saturday IN BRIEF with details later on a day to be selected by Justice Mohammed .

I see one place the Governor will have serious problem to defend and that is the 2016 affidavit he submitted to INEC. The registrar of the high court is one of the APC witnesses and he denied the affidavit coming from the court.
Also the court wrote to PDP in 2016 that they didn’t issue the affidavit.
Let’s see how Obaseki will defend that part.

. Good and correct! Olujimi succeeded in approaching the case from PDP view in 2016 and APC view in 2020. This strengthens the case, making it formidable as it is. and anybody who will appear for PDP as D1. 2 3 etc should not stumble on words for they have questions to answer on this case.Let see how PDP will break the wall of APC in their defence...

. Akin Olujimi SAN has brilliantly and Logically presented his case from APC and PDP sides. I dont want to preempt the judgement of the court eapecially when PDP has not starred his defence.However, there are discrepancies in Obaseki" s qualifications and both APC and PDP are aware of this.The governor should have used only what he has and would still win if they wanted him.As it is his defence must be strong today with substantial evidence..His original papers must be presented at the court and agree with his sworn oath and all his affidavits.WAEC and UI must be ready to tender his original certificates for him to smile away.If his defence is weak it may end in Lyon s way

. The court is interested in facts and evidences presented after cross examinations by the parties involved. in my opinion press conference holds no water in a court of law. Judgement is based on facts and evidence not sentiments based ov press conference that has not been evaluated by a court of law.That APC is logically proving its case for now.We await the defence of the defendants in due course.

Oranmiyan is the son of Oduduwa (the progenitor of the Yoruba race). Oranmiyan was a warrior, a King, an Adventurer and a traveller. He even went as far as Dahomey (now Benin Republic). This is one of the reasons why I took special interest in him. He is one of my favourite characters in the Yoruba History. He must have lived a fulfilled life.

I have heard a lot about the Oranmiyan Staff, They claimed it is over a thousand years, Some even said there is radiocarbon evidence to prove that.
According to the priest at the shrine, he said after he left Benin city, he founded Oyo Empire, he decided to come back home to Ile Ife. To regain his father's throne.

He became the King of Ile Ife. But as an adventurer, he decided to go on another adventure but this time, he wanted to go alone. His people were worried that he may not come back or something bad might happen to him. Or worse case another city may invade them. So he told them should there ever be a time where they get invaded, they should make some incantations, he will be right there.

Not too long after he went on exile, a neighbouring city decided to invade them. So his wife quickly made those incantations. Legend has it that he appeared from the sky with his horse like a burning chariot, devouring everything on its way. Not knowing that he was also killing his people including his best friend. ON realizing his wrongs, he came he struck the ground with his staff and ever since, it has become a rock-like object.

Oranmiyan Staff which is at Ile-Ife is a representation of the staff he was using when he was on earth.Inside the fenced land where it is located at Ife is the shrine of the warrior where he is atoned with sacrifices till today.Nobody dare to enter the place unattorized .Such an intruder will be stung with bees.It is said that when Oranmiyan disappeared from the surface of the earth he told Ife people to call him when there was a war.Ife people once created a false alarm making Oranmiyan to appear again and be killing people anyhow until he stopped at Iremo when he knew he had been killing his people. Iremo means "where the killing with sword stopped" Since then he said nobody would see him again .So it has been Before the staff was fully fenced young ones usually came to staff and looked at it ignorantly.

......I can't see how his forging his certificates in aid of his qualification comes in.

The bolded is counter-productive to me.

. I cannot categorically say the certicate was forged but APC knows more about Obaseki s academic qualifications especially on the duration of his studies in the university.If I were to be Obaseki I would use the basic qualifications for the election. We wait for arguement for and against on this case.

b)Would the decision of expelling them negate the case they have instituted in Court whilst still members? NO.

c)Buni should call that NWC and reconcile them. (A decision I strongly advise)

If I am not mistaken Edo election took place in February..Oshiomole was removed. Some months before the election......I think it was October or Nov 2019 that the Caretaker committee was formed.This new case after a year is legally time bound

I rejoice with Gboyega over regularity with the salary payment. He believes in human development and communal development .Both are going together.
