Anambralstson:
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has advised the new Inspector General of Police, Adamu Abuabakar Mohammad to thread the route of credibility in his new job by clearing the mess heaped on the force by his predecessor, Ibrahim Idris.

Prince Secondus advisory came as he addressed mammoth party supporters at the freedom square, Oshogbo, Osun state on Tuesday when the Presidential campaign train of the party continued their South West campaign.

The National Chairman told the new IG that he need to carve his path and avoid everything of Idris because he served the APC and the cabals not the Nigeria Police or the Nigerian people.

According to statement from his media office signed by Ike Abonyi, Prince Secondus said the new IG has a herculean task because enough damage was done to the force by his predecessor.

He told the jubilant crowd to stand by the PDP the way they did in September 8,2018 gubernatorial election assuring them that their stolen mandate must be returned to them because we have God of Justice on the throne

The National chairmen warned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and security agencies never to attempt a repeat of the rigging mess they perpetuated on the people of Osun state last year as the people are ready to deal decisively with election manipulators this time.

Prince Secondus charged the people to troop out on February 16, 2019 to vote for an energetic President who will tackle their problems unlike the seating President who sleeps all through and sources the Presidency to cabals while the nation's challenges multiplied.

The Presidential candidate Atiku who also addressed the huge crowd told them that they should not vote for APC because they were unable to keep any of the promises they made in 2015 to the people.

" Instead of giving you the job they promised, they stole the ones you have and made us the poor capital of the World. They cannot be trusted

The wife of the candidate, Titi Abubakar who is from the state danced and sang to the cheering crowd assuring them in the song that "when Atiku don de rule, Nigeria go better"'(when Atiku gets to power Nigeria will be better)

The former Governors of Ekiti, Ogun and Osun states, Ayo Fayose, Gbenga Daniel, and Olahunsoye Oyinlola respectively as well as the pdp Chairman in the state all spoke assuring PDP leadership of 80% of Osun vote come February , 16.

Earlier the candidate and the National Chairman had led other leaders of the party to the palaces of the Ooni of Ife at Ile Ife and the Oba of ijesaland in Ijesa on a courtesy call where the two royal father's prayed for them.most of the pic here were taken elsewherer and

The pictures are from the 2 individual local governments and this shows the mass appeal PMB has all over Kano from one individual local government to the next.

If PDP were hoping for help from Kano to boost their chances please tell them to wake up from their fantasy
even dullards know Hausas will never turn their back against Buhari..They will die for him in FeBuhari 16.....if Wasteful and clueless OBJ spent 8 years Buhari MUST spend 8 years....South west will massively vote for him too....As for Igbos Buhari will surely have 25 percent of the votee cast in the region...That is what he needs there .....But in 2023. the Igbo's will cry when the power is returned to the south west.....you can not vote Buhari in 2019 and expect he will handover to you.....Never ever....so Igbo will decide their future in February 2019....I hope they will show wisdom them......

TIMOTHYspecial:
Nigeria is crazy
Truth is that collectively we are going no where
Everybody must rise individually and fight for himself

In a sane country, Opposition parties in Nigeria don't need to campaign to oust this hungry and deadly blood suckers away from government

Some people in an attempt to secure thousands of acres of land for their kinsmen released mayhem on farmers in order to justify their demand
Do we need to tell people in Benue, Plateau, Kogi, Kwara, Nassarawa, not to Vote APC?

They voted for this party in 2015, they have experienced change beyond imagination, why shld we convince them again not to vote APC?
Let them vote for whatever they feel is right... Who will lose eventually and who is losing?

Somebody said Nigerian youths are lazy, shutdown our schools for the past two months with no remorse on a way forward, do we need to tell Nigeria undergraduates and educated, not to vote APC?

A lot of Nigerians lost jobs in 2016, 2017 due to a poor economic policy that led to recession, a lot of companies shutdown, rendering a lot of employed/underemployed youths jobless and hopeless, adding to the number of jobless youths increasing at an alarming rate. Do we need to convince these people not to vote Buhari again? Do we need to tell MAN note to choose APC?
NLC, ASUU, still need conviction on who to support?

Borno, Yobe, Zamfara is presently on fire, bandits, Boko Haram have destroyed virtually every good thing existing in those places, rendering many homeless, hopeless with a lot of our gallant soldiers killed, due to lack of weapons, inadequate funding and corruption by our service chiefs, yet the President has not taken any major step. What we hear now, is deploration of the Nigeria Army all over the country for elections. Anybody needs to tell the good people of Zamfara, Yobe, Borno, not to vote Buhari again?

Everybody shld go to the poll and choose their leader in 2019.. Whatever happens eventually, we accept it? Sell your vote to highest bidder, enjoy the moment.. But remember, their is a price to pay
Some of the prices we are paying for our indecision in 2015 includes:
Recession
Hunger
Inflation
Fuel hike
Insecurity
Kidnapping
Bandits
Fulani Herdsmen
Marginalization
Unemployment
Poor education
Bad governance
Harassment
Lawlessness
Unlawful detention
Nepotism
Corruption
Homelessness
Depression

Today, basic things in the market, are not affordable. Kerosene, gas, rice, beans etc are very expensive..

What was Buhari' contribution to the entertainment industry? Yet, secured their endorsement.
Where was Buhari in 2015 2016 2017, when we had fuel scarcity
Election year is around, suddenly scarcity disappeared
Where was Osinbajo in 2016, 2017 during recession when there was a crazy hunger, to distribute #10000, launch market Moni and house to house visitation?
Suddenly 2018 became the year of infrastructure. We did not need infrastructure in 2015, 16 or 17?

Go ahead and vote whatever you desire in 2019, but remember, There is a price to pay......

. My attention has been drawn to your piece.I am not a politician but I follow up Nigerian political status with keen interest. Thanknyou for your opinion. However I want to say that Nigerian problems go beyond Nairaland or any social media. The movers and shakers no what they are doing and how they are playing their politics. They are just pulling masses together. Additionally I won't be surprised if people bote APC in February 2019.They have seen the difference between PDP and APC.To start with when APC got into power the treasury was empty. That was why Nigeria went into 10 month recession. Okonjo Ewealla Who was Jonathan finance minister said in 2014 that my 2015 Nigeria would be in problem because She knew how they were stealing our Mooney daily from executes down to the legislature. Billions of Naira was flowing as bribes a over.In short 16 years of PDP was a mess for Nigeria. Permit me to say that they want to come and put us in another truoble...stealing. looting. etc..we the masses will pay for it again. On Bokoharam crises in some states..this started during PDP era and the present government is trying to minimize it.in their era you know number of bombshell and exposion we were having daily. On Fulani's attacks it has been a problem since it is not an APC problem..It is we that we learn to tolerate one another. On Nigerian youths that were described as lazy, in reality how many Nigerian youths want to work? Is it not yahoo yahoo that many want to do.Churches and mosques are even encouraging them. Many parents don't even care at all.Moral decadence is increasingly daily. why is it that we don't lime the truth?Any body who speaks the truth is hated with passion in Nigeria ..On fuel crisis last year many fuel station managers and marketers hawked their products thinking the President would increase the pump price. That never happen end. no wonder nothing like that occurred in 2018.....Where there is recession things would be difficult. Ask from Britain and America they experienced it occasionally. Please note that I am not campaigning for any party but I know that Nigeria is paying for wastage greediness corruption and selfishness. A leader must correct this even when people are shouting and calling for his head. All of is are victims of maladministration of 16 year PDP rulership. In February I won't be surprised if Buhari is returned for the following reasons. 1. The north will shift power to south in 2023...The south with not vote Atiku now and wait till another 8 years....impossible.2...Our son OBJ who wasted 8 years with Atiku spent 8 years in power even when we were shouting did he listen?Buhari cannot spend Four years and go ...impossible...the north will die there.3. The south east will vote for Buhari too so as to have a better chance to present president in 2023... Finally in my opinion I expect continuity to 2023 by Buhari..He will win the election despite smear campaign and online outcries.

A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Otunba Segun Adewale has posited that South West region of the country will determine the winner of the 2019 Presidential election.

Adewale said that the chances of the former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is very bright but must ensure that he work with people who truly wants him to emerge as the next President.

Adewale said if Atiku truly wants to win convincingly in South West, he must assemble young and smart “Hard Working Team” with proven electoral track record and not the regular old and tired brigades who won’t even step outside their doors on the election day.

He said that the party must take a cue from the recently concluded Ekiti and Osun election, he posited that all hands must be on deck if indeed the party want a resounding victory in 2019.

Adewale said that Nigerians will vote for PDP massively, “we must play our own role to secure Atiku’s Victory by looking for a minimum of 50 strong, vibrant and honest people from each ward throughout the South West to man our polling units

According to him, both Atiku and Buhari will share Northern votes, South East and South South are for PDP but South West is the battle ground and as such, credible people must be chosen to man all the States in the region.

The north will vote massively for Buhari. They can die for him.in south west APC will win in all states. In South east and south south you will be surprised APC will have 25 percent of the votes cast in each state. The south east will not let 2023 pass its region by not voting the APC in 2019 . As it was in Ekiti and Osun and in the two senatorial district elections in kwara state.APC will win presidential election in 2019

He identified the states as: Delta, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi, and all in southeast and south-south region of the country.

Ohikere, who made the prediction in a statement he signed in Abuja on Tuesday, December 4, attributed his calculation to the personality of President Muhammadu Buhari, who he described as a blessing and an asset to the APC.

. My attention has been drawn to this report by Femi Adesina and Garba Sheu on APC campaign committee. I disagree with the two media aids on Dangote s status and inclusion on the list. campaign committee members have different roles to play. Same applies to Dangote. Why putting his name on the list? if his name is there just as a record keeper or an observer he has become a member of the committee. So there is no need of manipulation in this matter. Many Nigerians read English and understand it.However that Dangote s name is there is another strength of the party.

The hepatisis A is over. On the other hand hepatisis B is contracted through sex and sharing of needles with infected person and blood transfusion.Hepatisis may not show symptom at all until a lot of damage has been cuased ..Many people have the virus..The virus will never leave the body but it can be managed. Some people have symptoms including jaundice swollen tummy yellowshness of the body etc usually after six weeks of contracting Hepatisis B it will be developing in the liver. The infected must do a blood test to confirm it and start taking care on his choice of drink and drug etc.Hepatis C comes from B and of may lead to circhosis of liver.... Both hepatisis B and C don't go out of the system.and they kill people. if you think you are predisposed to it go for a test after six week of having unprotected sex or un screened blood transfusion it must have developed fully then. If you have B and C limit your alcohol consumption and don't use drug indiscriminately. don't spread it through sex unprotected if you don't have it go for vaccine of Hepatisis. It is good for everybody to know its status so as to start managing it.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why You Should Celebrate Christmas As A Christian by ejimatic: 8:51am On Dec 25, 2018
IntrovertedK:
Well, in as much as we know the evil done to christianity, like the way it was heavily corrupted by the Italians i think we should also take our time once a while to Thank God for if not them maybe christianity would have died even before it was born.. That story for another year.

Now back to the christmas and pagan story.. It was true that it was recorded that 17th to 25th december in the olden days used to be days set aside for the pagans to celebrate their god of agriculture or so god whose name is surltan or something like that.

We don't know which day Jesus Christ was born, Jesus never celebrate any birthday while here on earth neither did his disciples did. Buh see why you should celebrate this christmas as a christian.

This date was purposely choosen by the then roman empire in other to abolish the pagan celebration, instead of celebrating a god during this time then let's organize a celebration for our Jesus instead so we can celebrate him rather than celebrating the pagan god which will help abolish the pagans celebration at the long run and it was a success, so every 25th instead of pagans celebrating their god, we took the day from them and lift our saviour over their god and celebrate Him instead, it's that simple.

Typical example are people from the traditional belief background, when you are chanced to meet Jesus and you wish to resist the day your family do worship whatever they belive in, you might choose this very day to worship God and lift our saviour instead of you joining them, and you'd be surprised that as time goes by, this very day would surely be turn around someday as your family might end up accepting Jesus through you and this day becoming a yearly festival in which your family would choose to worship God just like the way you were doing before they joined you in serving God..

That's the origin of Christmas, so as a christian won't you rather exalt and praise God while appreciating Jesus on such day making sure the gods worshipper are put to shame? Once the celebration is from your heart and it's unto God, you can never miss road.
. I respect view of those celebrating Xmas and those not doing so.It is a personal decision. However i in my humble opinion and from my own personal research into the matter chrismax originated from pagan custom .it was later brought into Christianity to make Christians then maintain their focus on their religion. Additionally Jesus our Lord did not command that his birth should be celebrated neither did he do it himself. His apostles did not do it either. So the idea came up after a lot of sects started springing up following the death of the apostles. Jesus said his death should be remembered...Luke 22 vrs 19..Also circumstances sorrounding the birth of Christ our lord indicate that he could not be born on 25 December ....harmattan period...whereas sherperds were in the bush then..Is this possible? It is childish to always think that anyone who points out the failings of this government is a PDP apologist. Watched the news all through the period, same report everywhere. "Things are hard". It can't be coincidence that everyone in different locations of country are saying the same thing against the system. #factsplease
your view and opinion are respected..But why are things hard? who caused them? My brother or sister if you know money The umbrella made in their tenure you would never like them they plunged us into this mess.I am not saying the broom is perfect but it it will take some period to correct the economic foolishness of the umbrella. They don't want that that is why they are using propaganda of all sorts. If they spent our money well when oil was booming we would be smiling today.Rather it was a galore of corruption...Ask Okonjo Ewealla how they looted our treasury like water and they are saying they have solution to Nigerian problems which they did not have in their wasted 16 years.....

theoldpretender:
Actually marketers were losing money under both the umbrella and the broom

Subsides means that marketers find it diffiuclt to sell fuel in Nigeria and make a profit. Under the subsidy, a marketer would import fuel, and sell it below the price he or she imported it at and the government pays the difference.

And eventually, such practice becomes unsustainable.

That's why there were scarcities, and why sharp rpactices like importing fuel and smuggling it to Benin republic or Niger to sell at the higher prices over there was going on.It was the only way marketers would survive.

What Bubu has done is made NNPC the sole importer of fuel. NNPC imports fuel at N165, sells at N145 per liter to marketers, and government pays NNPC the N20 difference per liter. Meanwhile marketers are expected to sell at N145(some majors like Mobil and Conoil sell at N142)and neither marketers nor NNPC make a profit.

And then there is corruption.
Your view and analysis are respected ...Good one

In their days there would be fuel scarcity now.they would make millions of naira st this time.this they did for 16 years stealing our money making masses poorer. The educated Nigerians like us cannot be deceived. The uneducated Nigerians will not follow them.If umbrella carriers are unrepentant thieves we will use our brooms to clean our rooms always.

Witnesses that were coached would contradict themselves. Statements that were written by lawyers on behalf of witnesses and signed by other people will mar petition at tribunal. The same thin they did in 2014 is repeating itself......Time wasting case whose end is evident at the beginning.
