The removal of subsidy is good but its implementation is ill-timed. The government should have put some palliatives on ground before the removal.
How will the masses cope with the astronomical increase from 198 to 500?
The politicians will have the gains but the masses will bear the untold hardship and pains?

How are we even sure the money will now be spent on education and health?
How can you and I cope in the face of the aftereffects of the sudden subsidy removal?
If the subsidy removal will make life difficult for the masses , let the subsidy continue for now.

The government should lay ground for the subsidy removal by planing well before the implementation.Enough of the untold hardship on the masses.
I stand with the masses on this matter and implore the government to stop this fire-brigade approach to subsidy removal.

. One of the legacies of Awolowa was free education which he introduced in 1957. The scheme succeded in SW and that is why the region is more educated in Nigeria today (Apology to other regions)
All SW governors present or past beliwve in Awolowo's policies and that is why we ha e transformation in the region.
When we said a person is an Awoist it does not mean he walked and slept with Awolowo.
BAT , Aregbesola. Akande Bola Ige and many more South westerners are believers of Awolowo's principles.They can tightly be called Awoists!

It’s disheartening. You can’t just wake up and announce subsidy removal without prior planning and provision, knowing full well of its effects on the poor masses. It will only take a matter of time before food and market commodities skyrocket becos of transportation costs… Salaries still remain the same.

Amen sir! BAT did not start well in this regards and I will not. hesitate to express my disapproval on this insensitive decision. Subsidy removal good but not sudden like this.

. I support the removal but the pains will be too much now for the masses. Yiu don't come in as the president and add more pains to the existing ones. Additionally BAT should have found a ground for the
implementation not just acting impulsively.
Also they say no Pains no gains.Masses have pains always ,the cabal and politicians are enjoying. .
How do we even know that the subsidy money will be spent on education and health?

The truth is the time of implementation of the subsidy removal is wrong and illtimed. I stand with the masess in this struggle!

. She was used for a lewd purpose. It was when she realised the hotelier and his cohort had ulterior motive that she spoke up . It was through her that they knew lodger book has been tampreed with by showing the original copy of. the list of those that she checked in including Adegoke. She knew nothing about the plan to kill Timothy but first denied he lodged in the hotel.. The judgement for alteration of evidence is in order. She will go home in November.

. We are our problems in Nigeria. The past administration paid the subsidy to the end of 2023 The present administration would decide whether to continue or not. BAT said he would remove it and that implies as from 2024.
It is disturbing that marketers increased fuel pump price as from yesterday.
This trend must be stopped. We cannot be making life difficult for ourselves .
Enough is enough!

The rate at which the yoruba's and Igbo's are waging online wars between each other is really alarming, and this is gradually even becoming physical. I was at a popular market today when I overheard some group of men ranting about how one tribe are betrayals and cowards wanting to have everything for themselves without working for it, while at this discussion someone replied them and said " make una sef go back build una place b4 una build another man place" make you leave our land nah" . A heated argument started and it almost turned into a feud which would have turned into a riot if not for the timely intervention of the market union workers. Let's stop this evil please, we are all southerners we can stand as one and make the south a better place without hurting each other. You could hardly see a Hausa man harassing a Fulani man, they have their differences but they love each other. I myself have learnt to avoid any form of argument pertaining to tribe. Even if you insult and curse my tribe I will just walk away and still show you love. It happens a lot at my place of work, where 85% of staff are one tribe dominated ( I don't want to mention which tribe so as to curb been bias) I receive friendly insults pertaining to being my tribe daily, any little mistake, you will just hear someone say " nah we dey feed una, una wey no fit hustle" nah Bleep dey una system". Sometimes I am forced to throw hurtful jabs at them but I have learnt to accommodate and swallow those insults with pride. Let's join hands together and build good roads hospitals schools e.t.c and stop been a laughing stock to other tribes. Please and please no insults on me Biko.

By action and inaction the IGBOS have cooked food they cannot finish eating! Nigeria belongs to us but no political appointment again for IGBOS in Lagos.. I hope Sanwoolu can hear me now!

. There is no fear in BAT and in Nigeria. Did Shetima obtain form for the VP? See the case of Atiku ,PDP vrs Boni Hatuna and ACN in 2007. Atiku was nominated as the Adamava governor but was later chosen by the PDP as the VP of OBJ.The SC struck the case out. The SC held that Atiku "died" by his nomination to be VP. So another candidate should replace him as the Adamava Guber candidate. No wonder this frivolous case is just an academic exercise and it will be struck out as it happened to it in FHC and AC.
