garfield1: Very true.pdp ought not to have a candidate, cc kyase, ojuntana, ejimatic . The disqualified PDP candidate can still go to Appeal Court and SC. It is better he is replaced now because if he loses at the SC and he has won the Guber Election the PDP will lose state to the APC.. As to Akpabio in Akwa Ibom,it is only if Machino withdraws that he can contest. For now Machino is the candidate! |

Adexxi: Yemoo is right in front of my home I can easily tell you the quantum of votes coming from there. Voters there can easily be induced, so Omisore will win massively there. Okerewe , Ilode and likes are under ife east which is predicted Omisore will win. But you see that ide central , how did he intend to win it Yes deputy is not new to us , but are we new to national chairman of a party IFE north is already gone to pdp and I see ife central following also.
Infact pdp will see a reasonable votes in ife east . The likes of Ajilesoro will do it for pdp , he well love politician and well loved by the ife people. Infact Omisore not having Wale Ladipo in his camp is a big minus for him , cos' Wale will really antagonize him in many places in ife. I remember some years back when fight occur both side boys , it was something else that day. If Wale Ladipo and Ajilesoro were strong how did SDP win Ife and its axis in 2018? Do you know the politics behind Ajilesoro's Victory in 2018? We will see on Saturday. We will see how Adewusi forner Ife East LG chairman and Ajilesoro and Ladipo who has a filling station at General Hospital will use thier abracadabra to win Ife Central from Omisore. |

chariisGRACE: Some are looking forward to the General Elections, ready to cast their votes for their desired candidates whom they perceive would be the saviour of the present Nigeria; where insecurity is a norm and the economy is yet to recover...
Some have given up in Nigeria. What ever happens at the polls next year - they don't care.
Which of these categories do you belong, and why. . It is a pity that Nigeria is struggling to have a good governance. We used military rule it was vanity. We have been using civikian rule from 1999 it has been vanity upon vanity. Obasanjo Yaradua Dr Jonathan PMB and VP Prof Osibanjo yet high cost of living is biting hard. The truth is the country is in the hand of Cabals and I don't trust any contestant from any region. None will fix the country for us .They are looking for more wealth fir thier families. As I said on this plartform I will not support another Hausa Fulani after their 8 years it is the turn of the South West ...BAT comes in 2023.Their will be freedom in Nigeria when we break the shackles of our cabals across the country. |

You see that ife central, the largest lg in ife even in osun after osogbo lg, pdp will flog Omisore and Apc like thief . IFE north is already in pdp bag . Our son is contesting to be deputy gov. So we can't leave him . We once taught Omisore a lesson in ife , this is another bad time for him .
You are not even from ife, you are putting mouth into our politics , u well so
Go check , ife had been voting pdp since 1999 except 2018 . IFE is pro pdp , it's a pdp town . Sir good contribution! Are you aware that Omisore votes at Yemoo ,More ,Ile-Ife? Are you saying Adewusi is more powerful than Omisore? Deputy Governor is not new to Ifes .Omisore was. Let us see how people will vote in Okerewe Ilare Ilode Fajiyi Enuwa Iloromu Lagere Akarabata and so on. Even Kabiyesi Onirisa is.....let me leave that.We shall see next week. |

Many of Adeleke's supporters online donkot even live in Osun They all dwell on 2018 election when Aregbesola was the target of the masses because of his second term poor governance. Workers hated him with passion then. Now Oyetola has no issue with workers. The Top group is not happy with the reversal of Aregbesola's untold hardship on the masses and workers.which is the strength of Oyetola. It is the Top members that are aggrieved and they are irrelevant in the 2022 election. |

https://punchng.com/well-win-osun-gov-election-pdp-boasts/ Honestly I am yet to see why Oyetola will not win the election. Adeleke loyalists are yet to explain why he should win. All they say always is high cost of commodities. Are the prices of commodities determined in Osogbo? Are PDP markets different from APC markets? Ndibuna: https://www.nairaland.com/7206737/anyone-knows-park-onitsha-asaba
Above is the link to my previous post asking for advice on how to get to ile ife from onitsha. Well, I took to Asaba then entered till Ore, although the initial bus I entered spoilt so I had to enter another sienna on Asaba Benin express Road. I got to the fly over at ore and climbed, then entered a sienna to ile ife. My observations on the road: Passing through ondo state I never knew there is a place called ondo Town, this Ondo town seems a bit open and developed, they're lots of businesses and tertiary institutions here. From there we entered ife Road. I was so happy with the lush vegetations I saw, indeed the entire south is a rain forest zone unlike the arid land I saw in kaduna and the rest of the north.
I was surprised to see lots of missionary grammar schools in osun. I mean what I was seeing were replica of Christianity, I was checking out for Muslim secondary schools I couldn't see. I passed through modakeke and what came to my mind was the ife/modakeke War. I didn't even know one had to enter modakeke before ife. Well ife itself is an old city though, the roads aren't so good but I think because of the coming election some sections are been built esp the section that leads to the University.
I couldn't make out much cultural difference between the natives of ife and that of the south east where I come from except for the food types. But it is easy to relate with people here as almost everyone speaks English, it is unlike when I was in the north that you have to use sign language as most of them will never understand you.
Indeed the south is just same though, its almost like I am in the east. I'm enjoying my stay so far
Challenge : I can't seem to get the kind of food I'm used to and most cooked foods here aren't satisfying me. I hope to overcome this hoddle by cooking and hopefully very soon I will be home and dry . Welcome to the South West : the educational heartbeat of Nigeria! |

There are three contestants in the race of 2023. 1 Tinubu 2 Atiku 3 Others The truth is Obi will only have gleanings of votes and never will he win in the North Central NW NW SW and SS. SE is even under doubt. What cannot be achieved through Civil war and IPOB movement cannot be achieved through election. I respect everybody's opinion and choice on the matter but the possibility of Obi win in 2023 is 0000000000.1 percent. |

BigDan69: Oyogist has learned that a Nigerian mom has called out her son for trying to dupe her after he personally increased his school fees and other charges.
In a Facebook post, the lady who is currently based at Abuja pleaded with Enugu residents to confirm if the actual price list sent to her by her son schooling at the Enugu state University of Technology was true.
Unfortunately, the results she got blew her mind away, as her son actually tripled the actual amount.
See Below; This is a time when children do not have mercy of their parents. I remember a lady admitted in Part One in a University only to find out after four years that she had no school record for 4 years. Yet she went home to collect money from her parents in Lagos. What a world ! This is an advantage of education.Any uneducated parent will be duped for life by calous children. |

Training allowances can make you have 350k with your salary factored in it.After that no more payment of 350 k to a new staff in a bank. So I submit! richmondefosa: Your statement goes to speak highly that indeed, you know nothing about stanbic.
Contract staff with stanbic IBTC Bank earns well. At reasonable. As at early this year march, u-connect staff outsourced to Stanbic are earning 80k. These are ND holders. Bsc holders that I know of first hand are earning a few negligible thousands shy from 100k. Those with lots of experience under their belt earn as high as 160 if my memory serves me right.
Across financial institutions in Nigeria, stanbic IBTC Bank is amongst the to payers.
Don't even get me started. You 'friends' in the bank are being economical with the truth of how much they earn. Does what yiu have said here justify 350 000 you earlier said a new staff woukd get in BANK which I disagree with? Stanbic according to you : Contact. 80k HND BSC. Around 100k Those with experience 160k ... Where is 350 k yiu earlier said is given to a new staff? I insist no bank in Nigeria pays 350 k to a beginner in the sector |
