By the way, Diabetes is caused by low production of insulin and not even excessive sugar intake as some have been led to believe. That's not exactly the sought of problem you'd be able to contain easily.

Yes, by mainstream belief, it is avoidable. "Eat healthy, exercise regularly", but trust me, it can be hard.
Also, let's not forget a lot of people are born with it. It's not just as easy as slapping on a condom, being careful and maintaining your hygeine with blades, chastity et al.
And as for the treatment, that's even another story. So many people fail to make it, and even at that, it isn't something you'd refer to as completely reliable.

Diabetes and Cancer are the sicknesses I fear the most, even more than AIDS.
Cuz AIDS is clearly and easily avoidable. But for these two? Mehn... I don't know, son.
