This is suppose to be a thread for products that are indigenously Afhonganistani, but they have been completely decimated. I think this is quite unfair. I blame the guy who brought Igbo into the bragging fest when he didn't have enough firepower in the arsenal to win the war. Afongaheadhunt, Pazienza, Diplomatic001, you made these people speechless but don't savour the victory though because I don't think this is a fair fight. I think this is like fighting a handicap match. Not fair at all! We are known for playing fair... |
Rossikki:Our lack of progress in this country can be pinned to "researchers" like you. Lol... You couldn't see any connection between Igbos and Efiks. Lol I wish my mum would read this and laugh at this "Researcher". Have you heard about the "Efik/ibibio influenced Igbos"? Go to areas like Aro, Bende and Ohafia parts of Abia state and declare this statement. Read about their history and culture and if you find nothing still, then I will know how to handle you. You can check my history, I don't suffer fools hardly. I know your intentions are mischievous but I will give you a chance, "Mr. Researcher from Afhonganistan". |
Nodogragra4me:Then how did you conclude that I am "poor"? LOL I won't be tempted to go into a bragging match with you. I have been touring Europe for 2 years now, and a legal residence there, if that's poverty, i gladly accept it. Lemme tell you what I have observed: 1. Although the churches are empty on a Sunday, they have reputable charity foundations all over Europe. Google Diakonie for example. That's what churches here are known for. Not fake miracle crusades and promise of earthly mansions that only goes to the pocket of one person plus his/her cronies. They rather invest on the sick, the poor, those that can't defend themselves in court, those searching for jobs.... That's where all the money generated go to. They look for real life practical solutions to the problems of the society (not only members). In your churches in Nigeria, you only care about taking the little your brainwashed members have and ride in private jets. Then when they present their problems, you call them to "fast and pray" while taking the little left in their pocket, not one practical solution. Many churches in Nigeria are the opposite of what Christianity is all about. Wake up sheeple!! |
What I don't understand however is, if Jesus is coming so soon, why spend money on "world class infrastructure that will stand the test of time". Hardly a day goes by without being threatened with hell fire because "Jesus is coming soon" but same pastors use the money to build their personal empires. I'm not hating though, its not a bad thing. In fact, investing in education is commendable but the intentions behind it is what I don't understand. In Europe, church spend most of the money to make on welfare but in Nigeria, we poor masses spend on "welfare" of the church. |
I hope the mods here can see how civilised people post pictures of victims of accidents? A picture of him smiling while he was in good health and well dressed. Only the pictures of the incidence is shown but in Nigeria we have not one single respect for the dead. We display their bloodied parts indiscriminately CC: Myndd, Seun. |
Yyeske:Yet another robotic reply from the garbage you have been fed. So if they leave all their properties tomorrow for the hungry almajiris up north, then Biafra will automatically be given. Sense fall on you!! |
Mr Sarrki!!! Why are you more concerned about the problems of the Igbos than the Igbos themselves?? Yet, you will not bait an eyelid to degenerate them?? Why? I don't understand your logic, why is their issue causing you sleepless night? Okay about the issue on ground, read carefully: Before the advent of the British into what we now know as Nigeria, the Igbos have been practising their version of democracy, meaning that the people had a mind of their own, most never depended on a bunch of self serving elders to dictate their destiny or yield to their biddings. If the Igbos in general wants self determination, self determination they will get. The floodgates of event that will come in months to come will sweep the ohanaeze off their stools. Just watch out!! |
scorpio2013:In this case, Nnamdi Kanu was specific to a region. Even as that, when you consider land mass, you must also consider the useable areas. For instance, look at Niger Republic and the land size.. Niger has one of the largest land area in Africa, but most part of it is uninhabitable desert land. In essence, it is almost useless. Apart from that, you have to assign different land uses for an area. Not everywhere should be built up, in fact it's a disaster. You must have natural reserved area, industry, residential, commercial, etc... There must be a balance between population and land resources. |
scorpio2013:When the population is higher than the resources available then the social and economic sustainability of the country is threatened. Note that land space is finite and we can't do what the Europeans did in the 16th centuries and beyond; exploring and conquering "new worlds" like America and Australia. Except we by any stroke of luck discover a habitable planet in space. |
Abagworo:When your fellow Igbo brothers described how mischievous you can be, I didn't believe them. Why the mischief? Why didn't you post the video for people to judge? Why the erroneous capture? How come you have sold your soul for a few bucks? We understand that you work for Rochas, I liked him also but endeavour to always stand for the truth. In this video, he was obviously protesting against injustice and terrorism in a region he was accused of hating. He was protesting that the Government of the day, (GEJ/PDP) rise up and do something. It shows that he stood against injustice irrespective of region but I guess this time around he had to fight for his people first. |
fratermathy:Don't you have a job, the way you masturbate on every Biafran thread? Your propaganda of opening irrelevant thread failed now you have decided to pitch your tent on their threads. No one mentioned Urhobo here. If you put in same efforts in encouraging many of the men in your villages to leave Kai Kai and bench hugging to help their wives in the farm, Urhoboland would have been better for it. |
modsfucker:Double standards. That's why I don't like going into a debate with you guys. When it comes to war and crisis, you lump Cross Rivers state as Igbo, no longer South- South, but when they are associated with us for good you jump around every thread shouting IPOB IPOB. Ikwereboy, as you can see, an average Northerner doesn't see any difference between an Igbo and Erik/Oron/Annang person from Cross River. LOL. Hypocrites!!! CC: Pazienza, afam4ever |
modsfucker:I will address the issue one after the other. The Northern elites (the Fulani royalty and masters could read/memorise the quaran). All rote learning. Most memorise the quaran without understanding. How many can communicate in Arabic fluently? They could just cram the way children are taught in 'Ile kewu'. Your average abokey on the street could not, which is the same thing obtainable today. Is it a coincidence that the region has the highest rate of illiteracy? Despite efforts made to lower the standards to help the average abokey to catch up with the south, they are still lagging way behind. Mind you, the Igbos have long used the Nsibidi writing system long before your Fulani Lords invaded your land and raped your women establishing their caliphates. On the issue of peace, the Kaduna mass killings, the Kano mass killings and other wanton destruction of life and properties were carried out by herdsmen from Libya I guess. Go to the North, you will find that the average Igbo live together in order to defend themselves. Left to a lack of defence system, they would be gone. Be grateful to them for turning your desert lands into somewhere habitable. That's the closest you will ever get to a Lad Vegas. |
modsfucker:More like am almajiri who can read and write but you haven't broken the seal of understanding yet. Your tribe is even more like the most blood thirsty group there is in Nigeria. So, why are you here on a debate with me. Go and solve the problems of your AK47 wielding Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, poverty and disease first. Is it because of poverty or religion or culture or is it just in the DNA to be violent? I like the abokey people when they are happy but when the demons posses them, human life means nothing. We don't share the same values. |
Ikwerreboy:If you didn't mention Biafra I wouldn't have been up in your business. The term Niger Delta both in Geography and by law captured Abia and Imo state. Niger Delta is not defined by oil, cross rivers is not an oil producing state. What language is spoken in Bonny if I may ask? You think it's every Igbo group in rivers state that share same sentiments with the ikwere group? And who would give you your republic in your multi ethnic, waring region. You have forgotten that the oil in the Niger Delta belongs to Jigawa state. Lol I wish you good luck in your quest and I hope you get what you seek. |
logadims:What people do not know is that, if you are not certified by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Board of Nigeria (ESVABON) and Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) you are just a quack. The implications being that you either must have gone through a university or Polytechnic and studied the course, graduated and have written the necessary certification exams and practiced for a while. However, some do still make it without all these. OP just try networking. There are so many real estate magazines published weekly you can advertise on. Send your briefs to different firms, let them have your portfolio. There is no easy way to make money, you must move around. That's why it pays to have studied the course or be in an association because you will have easy links to your colleagues in the field. |
Ikwerreboy:What do you mean by "Niger Delta Republic"? Please find a more appropriate name, the last time I checked, Abia and Imo state are "Niger Delta states" and rightly recognised as so by law. It's funny when people scream, "we the Niger Delta". Doesn't that display the crass ignorance by the youth of the day? |
bakila:Please, can you explain more? How does this affect the homogeneity of the would be "nation" in question? This your logic is just too hard to figure out. modsfucker:And the wrapper tying, firewood chewing Yoruba women do not go around gossiping bad about their siblings and neighbours while their men drink paraga and sepe threatning and shouting themselves hoarse perpetually in mock cowardly "fights"... But does that define the Yoruba nation? No of course. We maintain good relationships with our neighbours, we don't go around war mongering and that's why despite our larger population we never at any time in history displace our Efik and ibibio neighbours to the east and south. We might be a bit proud and haughty but we are peace loving and friendly also and that's why we can sell snow to an Eskimo. |
modsfucker:Ignorant statements. South Sudan is like Nigeria!! They have over 60 ethnic groups. SIXTY (60) separate ethnic groups with different interest and had always been a zone known for conflict. You think the conflict there started today Biafra is a homogeneous nation and even if any other ethnic group would join, they would be a "sister" ethnic group with prior good relationship with the Igbos. |
allrightsir:Most are Pro-Igboid Baifrans supporters would love an 'igbi only' country. And "Igboland" stretches beyond the 5 South Eastern states. Try travelling a bit. |
najoke:If you are gonna be truthful in this case, you will observe that in any typical Biafran thread, Afhongass are always the first to comment. I can randomly screenshot many of these threads if you doubt me. A typical Biafran doesn't really give a hoot about what happens in Afhonganistan, the evidence is right here this thread. Never mind I was here..... |
lawani:I think you quoted the wrong person I have never mentioned the name you refered to above. |
Noneroone:The name was coined for a different reason. I am shocked people do not know their history. At least, you could have done a little investigation before refuting my points. Ilorin was part of the Oyo empire, a strategic military base. A descendant of Othman Dan Fodio fought and defeated Afonja to rule the town/city. |
Noneroone:May be when you read about the history of the city, you would have come across the meaning of the word "Ilorin" and how the name stuck. Ilorin is a yoruba word that describes a place where Iron is smelted... Ilorin literarily means "Iron smelting" in Yoruba. |
its no doubt that one of the greatest challenges that students face in their journey through the tertiary institutions is completing their final year projects or thesis/dissertations. Having so many subheadings with the accompanying technicalities involved with each, the mental strains students get mere thinking about it can be worrying. I have been doing it for quite a while with great success and just like every technically and mentally tasking activity, one just needs to know how it works to demistify it. Well, as a way of giving back, I opened this thread so we can brainstorm and find solutions to areas you may have some challenges. Whether its getting a research topic, structuring your research problems or forming your objectives, bring them on this forum so it can be thrashed out. However, if I were to deal with your problems personally, you will have to be in the fields of Social sciences, Business Administration, Environmental sciences and Education (that corresponds to the aforementioned fields). However, don't despair if you are not in any of the aforementioned, I can provide general advice and others could contribute too. If on the other hand, you can't deal with it at all, and want a personal "research assistant" well I'm open to that but note, I don't deal with more than two in a month, (that's the number I can finish personally in that time frame) and that comes with little a price, a very affordable one though. |
