ACN has no part in Jonathan's rigging. That was all him. And those who conspired with him. |
Ogaga4Luv:Makes me so hungry. . . |
80%+ voter turnout is simply not credible. It didn't happen in Ebonyi (and the official #s reflect this), and it did not happen in Imo (though the official #s say something different, 83.56%). Anyway, Buhari has challenged the results. Sooner or later we will know how many fake votes were created in Imo, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, etc. |
koruji:You miss the point. The voter turnout is what is being questioned here, not who would have won in the SS and SE. Remember, PDP cleared the SS, SE & a lot of the North in the first election. If this was a real democracy, as we question the large voter turn out in the SS & SE, we will also question how everyone suddenly started voting CPC up north. We know the voting pattern changed in the SW as well, but there were two factors: 1) PDP had a respectful showing in the SW legislative election; 2) Voter turnout in the SW was not very enthusiastic.I can believe 90% votes going to GEJ in parts of the SS and SE. But I cannot believe that AND 80%+ voter turnout. High turnout will take what might be 30% or 40% of eligible voters coming out into 40 or 50. Maybe even 55%. But 83.56%, as in Imo? Something that wasn't replicated in Ebonyi (47.87%), btw? This same Imo state where media reports observed "low turnout"? Low turnout = 83.56% of all eligible voters came out and voted Na lie! It is fraud. Shoddy and crude fraud at that; not even clever or elegant fraud. If it had been me rigging for GEJ, I'd have reported roughly 60% turnout. That'd be enough to get the job done w/o raising too much ire or suspicion. Either way, Nigeria is never going to work this way.Agreed. Current system is unsustainable. |
Basseti:James Ibori has supposedly $3+ billion in his bank account. Imagine how many miles of road that could lay? |
gists:Makes sense to challenge where the most rigging in the south happened. . . namely the SS and SE. EDIT: Misread your post, we are saying the same thing. |
^^ If people dont stand up PDP will RIG again and again. Who is Fashola or Ribadau that people think PDP wont RIG them from power? People dont undesrtand no matter GEJ's good intentions he will be corrupted by the dity hands that feed him.
Too many Nigerians lack foresight. Cannot see the future until it smacks them in the face. Anyway, I'm glad Buhari has rejected the results. At least there is no ANPP this time to take the carrot of a unity government. He will hopefully fight the fraudulent election results until they are overturned. |
Yea, why do you think the so called sw leaders have tried to stay out of this mess. Next you'll see them on NL blaming the yorubas for everything. Who cares, GEJ won, leave the sw out of this chaos.
+1. All that crowing when GEJ won is what hardened my heart. Imagine, them crowing over his (heavily rigged) victory more than even Ijaws or SS people. Ain't my candidate. Deal with the mess you've created by yourself. |
For all those turning a blind eye come 2015 when Fashola (or anyone else) runs, watch when they RIG again. DO NOT COMPLAIN cause you took it up the backside now. haha.
That is why I am fighting this PDP rigging. For Fashola's sake. |
daamerican: ![]() It would have been best off split into three countries at the beginning. |
hmm |
Here is the article: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/04/buhari-rejects-results-in-22-states-and-fct/ Buhari is correct in rejecting the results. Abagworo:Lol. And they would have us believe that 76.32% turnout in Rivers is credible.

The main thing I dislike about this southern unity stuff is that it is somebody trying to guilt-trip someone else. Rather than meeting in terms of common interest. "You should support us, because you sinned against us in the past." That, I strongly disagree with. . . we don't owe anybody anything. |
If we've sinned (something I don't believe and isn't supported by the historical accounts), we've not sinned any more than any other Nigerian group. |
I don't like the north's born to rule mentality and their inflated population figures. I'd like to see a weaker central government. This is the only beef I have with them, really.
Why would you be suspicious? You think Igbos have revenge on our minds? This is a time the Yoruba nation can make amends for the sins of the past.
I don't think we sinned in the past. |
sbeezy8:lol Worst thing about it too is that his hair is so high. If I had a hairline like that, I'd keep it as low as possible |
CPC will be dead within 4 years. Buhari is not a planner or nurturer. If he has a fruit tree outside of his house, it has probably withered away due to neglect ![]() |
Who told you that the SW or the MB views the North as enemies in totality? If anything should happen in the SW, you dont see the SE or the SS helping out (or vise versa) . Each would rather fight to protect their ppl in the SW. Am I lying?
Well said. I don't view the MB as my enemy. And the north is no more my enemy than the SE is. If one is my enemy, then so is the other. I don't care much for either, to be quite honest ![]() |
Mariory:See for Imo: http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5690538-146/story.csp Then read this post: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-648868.64.html#msg8151346 Gbawe:So in other words, the 4 or 5 million+ extra votes he gave himself in the SS and SE to you seem unavoidable, just part of the ordinary state of affairs? Yes, I agree, it wouldn't have changed the final outcome, only the margin of victory. But a guy giving himself 80% turnout when the reality on the ground was more like 50 or 60% should be a big cause for concern, in my opinion. In any case, I would suggest that your own party (ACN) learn from this and think very well about how they'll secure 80%+ turnout when their own candidate is running in 4 years time. This is generally a difficult task to do in most elections and most countries where voting isn't compulsory. . . unless one has access to lots of fake ballots. Anyway, I've said my own piece. . . I'll leave it at that. Plan now, or you'll be bitten in the @ss in 4 year's time when he uses this same rigging strategy. |
A solid point by ndu_chucks. Lack of good roads in the south is not because the south has been starved of resources. Just pissed away what it got. . . giving road contract to your incompetent nephew (for example) generally doesn't lead to good results. |
Aregbesola (not sure if I can trust his words) already gave a thorough explanation for this. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-648919.0.html
I meant southern Kaduna folk. |
Gbawe, he won, yes. But he padded his margin of victory substantially. You don't care about this? You don't see it as wrong? As rigging? 80%+ turnout in a place where people are saying turnout is low? |
edoyad:This is something I was surprised about. You read on some sites that southern Kaduna folk outnumber northern ones. But the elections didn't really support that (though as you say, voting might have been depressed for some reason in the southern part.) Hopefully this unrest in the north won't worsen the lot of those folk. |
Is Amaka this fine? Hmm |
Basseti:Naw man. Humans domesticated dogs, cows, goats, etc 10s of thousands of years ago. Pretty sure if someone put his mind to it and hyenas were possible, it could happen. It just might not be possible with them. . . I don't know much about the animal, but from reading up on it on Wikipedia, it seems kind of strange. More closely related to cats. |
^-- As my username suggests, I'm about as far from an aboki as you can get, lol. I just think it is a bad precedent to accept rigged elections. |
Have they actually tried to domesticate them? Breed and select until you eventually have something you can keep as a pet? Some Russian scientists did this with foxes early in the 20th century. I wonder if it is possible with hyenas. |
Heh, not domesticated at all, then. Look at how they muzzle it well-well. Maybe declawed too? Hyenas are pretty large, dangerous animals. Even keeping a half-wolf/half-dog is dangerous, not to talk of a fully wild hyena. |
I didn't even know hyenas could be domesticated, lol |
Have you updated the Sheet to include the final INEC results?
I will do that now. (there were a few states not completed when I filled it out.) |
So according to you: 83.56% turnout in Imo = "strong conviction" 47.87% in Ebonyi = "rural, laid back, no immediate effect on their life"? 31.84% in Lagos = "exposed, urban, but. . . " Do you not see the implausibility here, even just looking at the #s alone? Why didn't this "strong conviction" effect also occur in Ebonyi to cause large turnout? I won't even go into how the reportedly low turnout reported on the ground contradicts the high turnout as indicated by voters, that is a pretty clear sign of rigging too. The inconsistencies within the zone should be enough to make one wonder. . . |

Na lie! It is fraud. Shoddy and crude fraud at that; not even clever or elegant fraud.

I doubt if those guys have that kind of knowledge.
