The courtship you had was not enough at all. Marriage is not something we should rush into as it involves a lifetime contract. The truth is your wife did not change. She is only unleashing the long concealed characters. A woman can pretend and hide her true self for more than 2 years just to get married and afterwards she will start exposing herself willingly. You should have lived in a relationship like a marriage where you both have to stay together under the same roof for sometime during courtship. I dated my wife for 6 years before we got married. It is the 7th year of our marriage and she has NEVER insulted me even during our courtship but of course we do have arguments sometimes which is normal.

There are so many things that can result to problems like the one you are having. But how do you point out which? The problem may be from you and she may be ashamed of saying it out or afraid of telling you. Let me share a story with you... I know a couple, when they got married the guy took care of everything, the lady was a corp member.. Even till the point when the lady was retained and started receiving income, he still bore most of the financial responsibility. He however encouraged the lady to save for the raining day.. They had a joint account which only the guy serviced; the lady never saw the need to deposit money in the Joint Account
The lady knew how much he earned, knew the PIN to his cards.. as far as I know he was very sincere to the lady in all ramifications
However, the guy's stopped working for close to 1 year and he also had an health condition.. Ideally the lady should have assisted with finances etc.. I have been married for over 6 years now and during this period I have been the one handling all our family responsibilities from buying of baby diapers, food, etc to our investments. To be able to do this, you need a stock broker. Go to The Nigerian Stock Exchange website for a list of stock brokers that you can choose from. You will be required to open an account with them and let them lodge in your certificates for you. Don't just keep your certificates inside your house, you missing a lot.

Your ecobank shares is now ETI, I hope u know that. if you are yet to receive your ETI certificate and dividends, contact the registrars in-charge (EDC Securities Ltd) at UTC Building beside UBA head office Lagos or send an email to edcsecurities@ecobank.com . They will usually reply within 24/48 hours with answers to your questions. You can also ask them if you have any unclaimed dividends. I would not advise you to sell off your ecobank/ETI shares because ETI is a very good stock. Things will happen soon.

Look for a cheap land somewhere and buy it. There are good areas where u can get 100% appreciation within a year. I think that amount of money is too small to actually benefit well from Treasury Bills. Getting a land will be best for u.

I have not even received my ETI share certificate as I purchased my oceanic shares via public offer. However, I heard dividends were paid out in dollars cheque after the acquisition.

That is confirmed stealing. There cannot be an alternative way of describing it.
