If anything, Everton, not Man City is our biggest threat this season. There are some coaches that have what it takes to break into the Top-Four . . . Mark Hughes is not one of them. This is not the Bundesliga where the best teams cannot hold a candle against Zenith St Petersburg This is the Premier League, Liverpool won the Champions League from fifth position. You cannot break into the top four with a team full of Big-Four rejects. Of all the players Man City have bought, how many of them have played important roles in their respective old teams?? Just Gareth Barry and Shay Given. Robinho was useless to Madrid, Tevez spent half of last season begging Fergie for a shirt . . . should we go on to Wayne Bridge and SWP?? Ade was a regular Arsenal boo-boy, Toure was there and AW went after Vemaleen.(Only God knows what happened to him) Ade's case was hilarious, he got an offer from Man City and he kept begging Fergie and AC Milan to come get him. ![]() This is a team of rejects . . . Top four teams are cultivated not gathered!!! Arsenal's UCL space is a birthright, at least for this season . . . |
I cant stop laughing . . . . . . .i cant blv some ppl are actually supporting lexiwhite ![]() BTW Eldee, dont accept sauron's offer. I have a better offer that you cant resist, trust me
Just saw your offer . . . nah, not good enoughI already accepted Saurn's offer of the all expense paid trip with Muki ![]() stillwater:Well . . . let that 'someone I know' better not be Sauron or Sly You know it's hard to control those boys when I'm not around ![]() I left for one minute, next thing I heard three chics were carrying Jackal's babies tkb417:Sly?? He's moved from Kent to Leeds now . . . Did he tell you he was conquering UK's chics in an alphabetical order?? He started with Aberdeen . . . don't ask me how many city's he's been to since ![]() |
DBR:I seriously do not know where you got that from I've had more than enough to say about Sauron's obsession with Eminem . . . myself and Bamsyle?? Do you want me to list out all the times we've argued?? Your argument is flawed and plain stupid . . . and I pointed it out c'est fini. DBR:Simplicity?? Then 'simplicity' must be the new 'daft' There's nowhere in the world where the use of the word 'Java' sounds like biting DBR:You know your problem?? You modestans are new to words like 'confetti' and 'echleon' Hearing it just from Modenine first makes you take a mental note attributing the ownership of such words/phrases to Modenine Another rapper says it and voila. . . BITING This is why I usually tell people not to replace textbooks with hiphop albums And you say I should feel bad for 'using negative adjectives' . . . I'm sorry but I can't help but give you the truth plain ugly like your girlfriend without makeup. |
Grizzly:Rugby is last real masculine sport around . . . Now that even Greco-Roman wrestling is gay, two punches in boxing and the refree comes in It's probably the only sport that's not bowed to the money, effect of extreme competition and rules. Sportsmanship in rugby is more than just exchanging shirts, it's hanging out in the pub and drinking together after the fiercest contests. @topic Cricket . . . to think one match or test could go on for days People actually watch it?? |
MCing is one of the essential elements of hip-hop: The best MCs can make the world move with just words and flow. They don't just entertain us . . . .they teach us about life, introduce us to new styles, regions and slang, and act as our counselors in times of need. We play their records when we first wake up in the morning. We listen to their songs when we're on the way to that job we hate, when we're heading out to the most jamming club, when our girlfriend or boyfriend aggravates us to the point of exhaustion, when everything is wrong with the world. . . .and in the good times, too. These are the people we have grown with. This was what Common said about Eminem: "Eminem is the essence of an MC. He can get on any subject matter and rock it, and, he's coming from his heart. He can get onstage and have a presence. His patterns are real good: He can flow like an instrument. He rides them beats right and says clever stuff. MCing, to me, is when you hear a dude say something and you tell your homie, 'You heard what he said?' Eminem has that 'Oooh, you heard what he said?' That's somebody you gotta step up with your game before [challenging]. He's an MC by heart. You know it. He's eating it, breathing it." MTV also had him as number 9 in THE GREATEST MCs OF ALL TIME.
Exactly what most people need to understand . . . Emcees can pick up a topic that doesn't appeal to you and weave the words into sumn that will get you nodding. I went on and on about how I wasn't feening Eminem's whole relapsed psycho theme Then I heard him say things like 'I cut his fucking head off and ask him where he's headed off to' . . .and I'm thinking 'damn!!!' It's just like what I pointed out before . . . Jay-Z sold swagger to Glastonbury. You listen to Lil Wayne's lines and you're thinking rubbish . . . till you see how he played with the seasons on Mr Carter That's what good emcees do, they get to you with any subject matter they choose . . . |
Rhymstein:Do you have to be stupid to be a Modestan? Never has the word 'idotic' better described a piece of bullshit than what I've seen here today. I'm still wondering how a reasonable person can type this fuckery, read it over and then click the reply button. Do you know what rephrasing means?? My dayzzz . . . This is apalling . . . so using the word 'Java' sounds like rephrasing to you?? You, my friend are a disgrace to Modenine, Nairaland and anyone that wasted money sending you to school. |
Ibime:Van Persie was born into the 4-3-3 system. Remember the World Cup where Holland used the 4-3-3?? He didn't need to be CF, he just stayed behind RVN . . . As Debo rightly pointed out . . . FW: Van Persie - Eduardo-Arshavin |

Anyone that's been in a Nigerian school for up to a year definitely knows the feeling of being 'flogged'. It was one punishment that the educational system felt could solve every problem that could ever come up. It really gets hilarious when you hear of teachers using the rod to solve problems ranging from fighting to 'witchcraft', I even heard of a case where teachers 'beat the spirit of homosexuality out of a girl' I sometimes wonder what teacher actually spend two/three years studying in Nigerian Teachers' Colleges . . . the angle at which the cane is most effective?? It's really funny because their counterparts in other parts of the world actually learn how best to communicate with students. Now it might seem harmless to use force to make a teenager do what you want him to do . . . but what kind lesson are we teaching them by telling your child not to use violence to get what he wants when his teacher is doing exactly the same thing?? I see that as pure hypocrisy. And then you think the next generation of politicians will lose an election and accept it like that?? Yeah other factors, like the media and the effect of violent role models could do this but isn't the school meant to be a breath of fresh air?? Why should the school add to this menace?? The country is becoming a place where Christian leaders half-authorise the use of guns, people rush out of mosques to burn churches, violence seems to be the answer to every little problem . . . in my own opinion, the four walls of the class room should be the one place where the pen is really mightier than the sword. |
rapjunkie:Seriously . . . it gets more annoying with time. There was a time referred to 'Java' and sum punk came here to say it was from Modenine's Pentium IX album In the plonker's books, every word Modenine says is patented. @lalaboi I tried to get back to the topic . . . I seriously did ![]() |
It's not about size. . . . . It is about how quickly he can cover those blades of grass and his positioning. Arsenal cannot thrive in a 4-3-3 formation. . . .Teams will take them apart. The only other alternative apart from the conventional 4-4-2 is the 4-2-3-1.
You think?? A 4-3-3 with a Denilson-Fab-Song midfield will stand any team in the EPL Afterall Chelsea once did a Ballack-Essien-Lampard midfield |
Hottest Guy on Nairaland?? FL GATORS!!! ![]() |
Pataki:I was expecting accurate answers like 'None of them' . . . but you're trying to discredit my sources instead So I'll just take that as my working sample. ![]() |
dejiariyo:Are all Modenine fans this fickle?? First common fruits like Apple and Pears are copyright protected by Modenine Now even parts of the alimentary canal?? Oh . . . please tell me if M.I is allowed to use the word 'mouth' or maybe Modenine owms that one too?? Goodness!!! I never knew my highschool Biology teacher was biting from Sege . . . freaking plonkers |

This is the track we’ve been waiting for! For the last 6 months or so, rumors have been circulating that a song of such magnitude was in the works, but there were very few believers. Peeps! The joint is here, and I must say it was worth the wait. The remix to Tha Suspect’s track I No Send You features an All-Star cast which includes multi-platinum selling artiste, Wyclef Jean, Mi Fliss, ill Bliss, Eva, Feahong, Kel, Ghetto P, Mo Cheddah, Vector, M.I., Kemistry, Blaise, Eyme, Zee, Othelo, Teeto & OlaDELe. This has to go down as Naija’s most high-profile rap collaboration till date. Big shouts to all the emcees/femcees involved. Most of all, heavy thumbs up to Tha Suspect for pulling off such a massive project. http://www.notjustok.com/2009/06/30/tha-suspect-i-no-send-you-remix-feat-wyclef-naija-all-stars-world-premiere/ |
With this Flexgate controversy flying about . . . the last thing I was expecting from Nigerian hiphop was a track with Wyclef and Naija's finest going in a merrygoround rap battle . . . in the same studio feeling the same beat each trying to out-spit the other This song is one of those ones where you listen to one rapper spit and assume that there's no way anyone can top that, till you hear the next This track makes We Too Much look like child's play. . . From Wyclef's 'I'm so famous, I made Beyonce famous' verse to Oladele's funny cut . . . this is a classic Recipe for a classic?? Put the founder of hiphop's most famous group with Naija's best rapper and all the contestants for the role of best femcee and sprinkle it with the best upcoming talents we can boast of. And do we have to start talking bout the beat?? Hmmn I'll leave you lot to decide for yourself what you think of the track . . . |
