Bayern has already been seeded if you dont know.

Messi did to Bayern right? The best player in the world

What of what Pizarro did to Arsenal when he was a bayern player
It was 4-0 Dayo . . .

Aiite that's Messi, Wolfsburg trashed you 5-1 last season . . . hell Grafite got tired of scoring normally, he dribbled past half your players and then scored with a back-heel. . .
Grafite's not the best player in the world, he's not even the best player in your crappy Bundesliga grin grin

They seeded Bayern?? Have they increased the number of groups in the UCL??
Damn . . . what next?? They'll seed Zenith St Petersburg . . . afterall they also belong to the longlist of Bayern floggers tongue

Messi made Bayern look like Derby. . . in the flipping Champions League

Let's just hope Bayern doesn't get seeded . . . so they'll land in our group grin grin

My loyalty is first of all to Arsenal FC before to any individual. These sales could be the best move for the club, as long as the funds are used to strengthen the team appropriately. That is the crucial bit. If Arsenal fail this season and it's down to poor players/small squad, obviously Wenger will be first on the firing line and I will not hesitate to shoot too if he doesn't own up as to where the error is from - him or financial troubles.

That said, there's a month at least left in the window. . . .I remember Eduardo popping up a few weeks after Henry's sale in 2008 so hopefully Wenger is unearthing someone somewhere as we speak, or is planning for a late raid on the transfer market.
It depends on what you define as failure . . . I define failure as losing out on either the tile challenge or going trophyless . . . or both.
To you, ending up as runners-up is an improvement. To me anything less than a trophy is failure.

If selling the whole team will give us the EPL, so be it . . . all I know is that he should offer his resignation letter if he fails.
I've given up on trying to follow AW's transfers, I've spent too many years working as Wenger's talent scout. cheesy cheesy

Kolo is gone. . . adieu great warrior. We will miss you without a doubt.  sad

Now he's gone, the focus returns to Arsenal Football Club. I await Wenger's next comments, or more aptly what he doesn't say to see whether he actually intends to buy or not.

This will be a defining season for Wenger's policies and his attitude towards purchases/sales. Either he comes clean with fans and tells us how much is a constraint and how much is his own decision to sell/buy or he will get it in the neck if we fail this coming season.

It's going to be an epic season either way and I can't wait!  cool

Regardless of what happens, I remain and will always be. . . .

Gunner 1965
 cool tongue
Of course everyone knows you'll always be Gunner 1914, but the question is, will you still be Arsene 09??
AW's taking some risky steps here . . . let's just hope they work, he should remember that football fans forget quickly.

Name ONE analyst who predicted we would be 4th in 05/06 after winning the FA cup and coming second in 04/05. Name one analyst who felt we would be 4th and trophyless after reaching the CL final in 07.

Hindsight is so amazing isn't it? undecided

Everybody is now spewing theories and saying Wenger is stubborn and resigned to 4th place. I guess the same people predicted a 'nobody' from Japan would come and win 3 titles 4 FA cups 4 community shields and reach numerous other finals. undecided
They always predicted we would go fourth after every player we lost
The transfer season always brought the right predictions . . . stop acting like you didn't even see them on NL

hehehehe. . . . it doesnt matter. . . . the game doesnt discriminate between defenders positions. . . if you like you can put a right-back in CB etc. . . . nor do you have to adhere to a strict 4-4-2. . . . I prefer 3-4-3 cos more strikers on the pitch and strikers score more points. . . .anyway, click on the yellow button next to your player if you want to substitute him or take him out. . .

You are right. . . .
If i am correct the only world classed footie academy you are talking about is PEPSi right? i was in one of the Lagos teams over two summer holidays
Nigeria FA need to develop a youth and reserve team system for pro clubs. . . .most pro-clubs should operate that way
Funding is a major issue but trust me, loads of kids will play for peanuts if they are associated with pro-league clubs in a way!
Yeah the Pepsi one is the only real youth Academy in Nigeria . . . and prolly one in Ilorin

The U-18 league system has worked in Spain and Holland, it will definitely work in Nigeria
When you need to get kids to win the U-18 league as a club, you end up digging for more kids for the future
It's an incentive . . . just like the homegrown player thing
If they make a rule that states that all clubs must have 5 players trained at the same club since they were 16, won't that cost less than organinsing MRI scans??

I've given up on searching for players outside the EU . . . the work permit thing is annoying

In Trinidad 2001 when we were playing Japan and the commentator was introducing the players it was like all the players were in High School or recent Graduate But the Nigerians like Karimu Shuaibu, Brown, Temile had all played like 5 years in Nigerian top league before playing U17.

In 2007, Toni Kroos of Germany just finished his High school while Kabiru Akinsola who went for trials in India in 2004 failed and came back to join Eaglets. As at 2007, Akinsola had a wife who lived with him at Oworonsoki area of Lagos
I think the main problem is the fact that we expect 17 year old hot prospects to spring out from nowhere
Nigeria doesn't even have an U-18 league, we have only one world class football based academy . . . people even hire mercenaries in inter-school football tournaments.

The only way to find good 16 year olds is by raising them from 14. Easiest ay to do this is by creating an U-16 league and forcing all clubs to have a minimum amount of homegrown playes in their team

Is it me or does anyone else think that teams are playing too many pre-season matches these days??
This is the same thing I pointed out last season, Fab4 just finished the Confederations Cup . . . does he really need to go through the stress
Clubs like Arsenal have crowded schedules . . . why have our players drained before the season just for a couple of thousands.

Teams like Man Utd are even worse culprits . . . but, who cares??

Last season we were in both the Emirates Cup and Ajax Tournament (Each with two matches in the space of three days)with other friendlies even when we had the UCL Qualifiers coming up.
Let's just hope we don't start getting injuries too . . . Garry Neville comes to mind

I've got a tiny problem wiv my FM09
It's 2015, all the players are old and gone

There's this thing I used to do with USM where I could just cheat and make everyone's stats to 99
Is there anyway to do that with FM09?? Cus I'm tired of having 500mil and not being able to buy anyone.

Or have you got any good people I can buy . . . UCL quality that is??

There might be an explanation in the fact that some biological characteristics like hormones might be passed down from generation to generation . . . but I think social and cultural upbringing will help explain any trends easily.

If you grow up in a family where everyone availabe role model disrespects marriage.
These values or the lack of em influence children and they end up like their parent.

Jay-z talking about Nas' baby mama is different from Game mentioning Amber Rose whispering into Chris' ear. The only connection there is that Amber is dating Kanye, who's Jay-z's employee. wetin concern jigga with all that? Talk about digressing in a rap diss. Ah, forget it! smiley

Bro, i wont stress on why didnt KENNIS MUSIC signed whoeva back then. Why? Cos most of all this catz now were at d backyard, scared of if there song wld be acceptd or purchased. While producers at dat time were nt ready 2support rap music. Also platation werent strictly a rap group. So ask d likes of trybesmen why didnt they have an album at dat time. Lets concentrate on d fact dat hiphop is here 2stay &we 'all must make sure 2uphold this. Above all, we cant but give a maximum respect &credit2 KENNIS MUSIC. They made dis break a success. That's why i wldnt like 2see anyone try 2go against this height we've attained.
Exactly what I said in my first post before you started talking bout how you graduated from the University of Afrohiphop
Ruggedman's success was probably a stroke of luck . . . but it started a trend
I have nothing against Keke and D1,  they laid the path for Sound City and the rest of 'em, but they failed to cash in on a very promising brand, c'est fini

Did I ever say Plantation Boys was a rap group??

@mbulela
I'll keep the harsh words down if y'all stop being overly sentimental
I stated a simple fact . . . in the era of Kennis Music, the most popular hiphop artiste was Ruggedman
Even his first single What If got spins from DJs . . .
Dr Fresh, Junior and Pretty were not popular enough to sell out my backyard.

Acts like Triple T came close but that's as far as it went.
