Eldee why do Nigerian players performance nose dive when the get to EPL or what about the Senegalese players?

Let Uche or Obasi enter EPl now and see how they would turn out.
Players respond differently to competition . . . let them go there first and see what happens
Besides players like Okocha, Amokachi, Yobo and Babayaro have thrived in the EPL

Ade was B.S before he came to Arsenal, Martins bangs in goals whenever he's on his feet . . . the EPL is a proving ground for talent.
As poor as Eboue is for Arsenal, he's still a regular in the Ivory Coast, what of Drogba??

You want to tell us how many bad games Eboue, Rio, Berbasulk and Malouda have had? And I can see them still playing regularly. Rio has been shyte for 3 years yet he makes the team. malouda for almost 2 years. Mikel? for ever
Rio is class, he's one half of the arguably the best defence patnership in Europe
Mikel only took advantage of the Essien, Deco injury, he's going back to his permanent seat on the bench.

How can you call Berbasulk crap??

I don talk am for the other thread, The EPL kills and hardly develops them. All they do is drink beer and chop peppersoup.

Our most succesful team hardly had any EPL player.

Look at Senegal, when their players were playing in France, they won France performed decently at the world cup(Quarter finals) and lost the Nations cup finals narrowly.

When they all went to EPL what happened? Salif Diao, Papa Bouba Diop, Henry kamara, Diomansy Kamara, Aliou Cisse, and El hadji Diouf what became of them. Their best players now plays outside EPL Niang and Demba Ba.
How can you say the EPL kills player?? C'mon, we need to take this outside the box.
The EPL doesn't kill players, COMPETITION does . . .

You mention France, the same France where one player can have five bad games in a row and still ake the first team.
It's not the same in the EPL, most of the teams hav deeloped second string teams that wait for injuries, and then the Reserve League were they play regularly. . . Competition is stiff!!!
While some players like Adebayor have brewed their A-game from this, others just crumble.

Kanu was playing in Arsenal as a striker, Arsenal had about five players that had to be rotated for he same position.
Three bad matches and that's it, you're a Carling Cup player.

America happens to be one of the most advanced countries on the planet and yet religion places a huge part in the lives of over 90% of the population of the people. Even Scientists in the highests ranks will tell you that religious remains an integral part of their lives from the dude that heads the National Science Foundation in America who happens to be a "Born again" Christian. He believes in miracles and even consider's his life and work miracles. Again, Are you sure that what you think is africa's problem is close to Africa's reality??
First of all, you can't tell me 90% of Americans are religious
Most people you mentioned in your stats just consider themselves religious because the hold christening and funeral rites the christian way, c'est fini.
Religion has lost its stronghold in the developed world (Infact, countries like Japan and the UK don't 'do God')

I kind of agree halfway with wirinet on that part of the argument, we need to stop putting religion in front of everything.
Religion is meant to be a personal thing, I heard someone coming on TV to say Nigeria needs a day of fasting, kinda like a Bank Holiday, but this time, even stores close. . . What nonsense!!!

The besthuh Whatever happened to consistency - determined by number of albums/hit songs, staying power in the game, etchuh
Consistency has nothing to do with being the best . . .
Being the best is about being excellent and overshadowing the rest, that's what M.I has done
No one called him the G.O.A.T . . . infact ifhe drops a below-par album next, he'll be forgotten ASAP

It's a simple thing, other rappers have shown that they're not half as talented as he's proven
This is someone spinning real ish on hot beats, reminds me of albums like Thy Album Come (an album that took over nine years to make)
His catchy punchlines convert ladies into hiphop fans . . . his delivery reminds us that hiphop is still music
And as you said 'What if tomorrow Mode or Rugged comes out with an album better than "Talk About It"??' Then he will become the best rapper on Nigerian soil.

Bamsyle: I don't think a new Roca wear should be rated better than an old TM Lewin - just because the TM got old . . .
If the Rocawear comes with silk-smooth seamless edges, with signature style and sells 30,000 in 30 minutes, then it'll be rated better than the TM, Ben Sherman, Ralph Lauren and Paul Smith put together tongue tongue grin

I don't know what Nigeria's problem is, but I know for sure that one good solution is dedicating our lives to helping the next generation.
We need to educate them, expose them and also instill the right values into their mindset.
It has worked in countries like Japan and South Korea.

This is my own way of getting into Obama's 'one man changes the world' campaign.

Afterall, on the other thread, we heard educated people calling for gay people to be burnt in gallows
As usual, Africans will come out and make themselves a laughing stock to the rest of the world

Apparently, homosexuality is not 'African' but RAPE is.

To show that the government fully supports this, only two cases have been allowed to reach the judicial process
They'll prolly help to sweep it under the carpet like the religious killings in Northern Nigeria.

What nonsense! This is the weakest form of argument you can ever formulate for justification to homosexuality. Did you miss the part of ''consenting'' in my post? What is wrong is outrightly wrong. Whether it be paedophilia, bestiality, rape, incest or homosexuality.
That's what I'm saying . . . a child, someone under the influence of alchohol or even an adult with mental problems cannot legally consent
Your analogy in that post I quoted is flawed and baseless . . . that was my point
In all the cases you pointed out, no one apart from homosexuality can be consensual

Pataki:
See it from this angle . . . We all know homosexuality is wrong
But because people (homosexuals) are allowed to bang themselves out of freewill doesn't mean it should be allowed freely too on the society at large
Why?? Because they're not seen to be mentally-capable enough to know that it is wrong
I also know smoking is wrong . . .
It causes cancer, heart problems, breathing problems and literally blackens the lungs, but you don't force them to smoke in toilets do you??

No one is saying they should be imposed on the society, they just want to be left alone to live normal lives
They want to have the right to be recognised legally as patners, c'mon, they're not trying to rape you or sumn

Dede1:
This is the dumbest statement devoid of any intellectual traits put forward for homosexual activity.

Please I honestly urge you to quarantine homosexuals of 40 years or above to an Island and visit that Island 60 years later. If what you could see does not affect existence of human beings on earth, then you and your homosexuals pal can take over the earth.

@ phuket,

Take your time to read my first input on this thread/topic. In case my point got lost on you, let me take time to reiterate it to you. In a country besieged by different woes and calamities, a country where issues fundamental to its development are abysmally missing, some gay dcikheads decided to march down to the National Assembly to be heard and asking for tolerance.

Very soon the association of paedophilia's would be storming the National Assembly requesting for tolerance and freedom of expression, in as much as they can indulge themselves in consenting sex with kindergartens.

What you do in your closet is none of my business. It becomes my business when you try to stick your shit in my face and the nation at large. For that alone, those mentally-challenged and inferiority complexed beings should have be STONED.

Keep your shit where it belongs - the CLOSET!
Nah . . . you can't get away with that statement
Legal homosexual sex is consensual between two adults . . . if it's not a mutual agreement, then it's rape
You can't compare that to peadophillia

See it from this angle . . . We all know smoking is harmful
But because people are allowed to smoke out of freewill doesn't mean kids are allowed too
Why?? Because they're not seen to be mentally-capable enough to make their own decisions
