Hannibal:

The thang is. . . . Men have their own different methods of getting the attention of em ladies.
Everyone just sticks to their formular. . . . sometimes it works, sometimes it backfires.
If you encounter the 'Ay bae bae' type all the time, what does that say bout ur endz?

onyinye2:
yes, it doesn't matter if you are from the south, naija, i don't care if you live in the freaking swamps in Australia, you stick to what works for you. so Eldee stop judging a place that you have never been to.
I don't have to go to Peckham to know it's rough
I don't need to go to Ajegunle to know it's crappy
Do I need to go to A-town to know it's a ghetto?

I am not trying to offend anyone but lets keep it real. I try hard to listen to UK rappers like Dazzie Rascal but this dude is horrible. I also try listening to other British rappers and it left me in dismay.

Anytime i listen to UK rappers it seems like i m listening to Reggae.

If You know any good UK rappers or songs please recommend me.
I'll give you these ones from the Channel U's Sickest Sounds Collection
They're not Cannibus quality but they're aight

She was always going off the theme

Go listen to her on Midnight Crew's 'Rap 'n' Razz
She always get's blown away after three lines or sumn

Sasha's lyrics are point blank, totally direct

he was sick before he died on top of that poisioned,
u need to see how they buried him
Abacha died of CARDIAC ARREST, my friend's dad died of cardiac arrest too
Over fifty thousand people die of cardiac arrest , only one of them was a mass murderer
WATCHU ON??

He was buried the same way they'll have buried their king, rolled in a mat and thrown in a deep hole

OBJ still has his Ota Farms, he's making money, Idi Amin died like a normal man
If OBJ dies today, he'll be given a state burial
KARMA's not doing it's job innit?

HITLER died a hero's death, he killed himself, he wasn't even captured

Kindly tell me what Madeline McCann did to have suffered such traumatic saga.
She could be dead now for what she knew nuthing about??
Is that Karma??
Can't you hear what she said? 'Even if its not in this life time . . .could be the next.'
Maybe Madeline was a wicked dictator in her past life

That right there . . . is KARMA!
So I should start doing bad things to people so good things happen to me?? shocked

Hannibal:
What did Madeline McCann do?? She's been kidnapped/killed now and no one knows the whereabouts. . . She is only 3 years of age.
According to pro-karma groupBaby Madeline musta taken more breast-milk than usual to have deserved cold-blood murder.

Karma should be about:You REAP WHAT You SOW not You REAP WHAT OTHERS SOW.
Exactly my sentiments

Gamine:
How is Cardiac arrest Natural??

Anyways, its dosnt matter how you put it

This World was created like this

What we put in, is what we get out.
I don't know where you got your 60 year-old definition from but here's proof
You're just shifting from the argument

Why does Abacha that killed thousands of people, enjoyed money and power died a natural death
While Madeline whose only crime was sucking more than her normal ration of breast milk die a gruesome death?
Is Mr KARMA asleep?

So what you mean now is, I can pick up an AK, go out and spray people and go away, knowing that the whole of the UK will pay for it in 2054

@Eldee,

Believe me its not.

I'm experiencing what our past leaders sowed in this country
My internet connection is crappy.
What im currently listening to is the Sound of Gensic

We humans have sown evil in time past and it will definitely fall on us.

There are too many innocents to mention that have been caught up in this web
it still dosnt mean does directly involved in this wont get theirs.
So those countries don't deserve KARMA's help?

Abacha did not die a natural death, natural death can only occur after 70.
He died of cardiac arrest at 54, Damilola Taylor got shot at 15
Abacha was having fun till he died, his only punishment is death and maybe hell (I'm not the one to judge)
The same hell that someone that stole fifty naira will go to, remember that Abacha had assests worth more than any of the Brit top 10

Don't use KARMA to explain God's ways
He does what he wants and no one questions him
The Isrealites killed thousands of people on the way to Canaan and nothing happened to them

We see a lot of ruthless men that lived but their end is nothing sort of tragic,eg Hiltler had to die like a dog,his generals and supporters are still hounded and have to hide while they are alive.
Hitler died like a dog? Joke of the year!!!
Hitler wrote his testament, went to sit down on his armchiar and shot himself  . . . c'mon, that's a hero's death
William Tyndale would have paid to die with a gun
All the people that jumped from 9/11 would pay for that kind of death
KARMA is just a fake attempt at explaining why bad things happen

And about Africa and Egypt
Have you gone to modern day Egypt before?
Have you seen how beautiful North Africa is?
Believe me if you've seen it, you won't be saying what u're saying

@Eldee tongue
i heard that too but it dosnt mean its true!

Emeka who owns a cybercafe near my house is streetsmart
he also runs a pharmacy and the only learning institution he has
entered was primary school and the secondary school he picks/drops
his sister with his Range Rover.

This brother will not go father than this until he picks up Books.

Bill gates was Street + Book.

Bamidele is a master degree holder and works as a lecturer while trying to earn his
Phd. he has written lots of papers in his field of research, he has attended enough conferences
both in Africa and the West.
he has made a lot of money off this and currently lives in VGC.

this brother will not go far until he Wises up.

Tony Stark was Book + Street grin
You're missing the point of the whole argument here
We all know that street plus book is the perfect blend
The poster's asking that if we had to choose ONE

And after seeing examples like JayZ, Abrahimovich, MKO Abiola, ad infinitum
I'll say I'll go with Streetsmart

Why limit love to a certain skin colour. Wherever you find it (love that is, not lust) keep it and cherish it. cool
No one limits love to skin colour, they went searching and found trapped it in the pale skin
There's no problem wiv that

@jay bee

my definition of being street smart is one's ability to have that cunning or shrewdness NEEDED to live in, or to deal with people in an urban environment, business deals/clients, etc. any one can have common sense but street smarts is a whole different category. being street smart is almost like one's ability to stay one step ahead.
Make that word in bold be 'STAND OUT'

Mr Booksmart: I'm good at my job
Mr Streetsmart: How can I make the best ot of this stupid job

Mr Booksmart: I can't take this risk, it might be fraudulent
Mr Streetsmart: I'll go and ask other topheads if this opprtunity is not a farce

Infact I heard of a driver that made millions from the info he gained from the stockbrockers he used to drive arond
Romance › Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by eldee(m): 2:32pm On Jul 09, 2008
jay bee:
book smart because that encompasses high element of common sense/reasoning which can then apply to street smart.

why do one have to be street smart anyway when it's not as if the society we live (definitely not nigeria) in requires street smartness
C'mon, whatchu sayin?
Then why's there need for interviews and things like that?
Why don't we just pick the person with the highest number of degrees or select by the University League ranking?

The world is looking for people that can apply ideas to different situations as quick as possible
When you have that, they'll teach you the 'book' part of it

Wonder why the Abrahimovichs and MKOs excelled in their trades?
They had to apply street brains into all situations

You want booksmart, I'll go to the Ivy League and bring them in thousands
Streetsmart is hard to find

i see you finally converging!,

The Bookies do the Streets

The Streets do the Books

Perfect for everyone
LOL grin grin

C'mon, stop trying to trap me cheesy

I only said we can't use a lawyer as a case study, just like we can't use a 'street-daft' person that grew up in Ajegunle as an example
Lawyers have to be streetsmart

Most people have a bit of both in them
In this case we're talking about the average individuals in each of the extremes

A Science Prof OR a Roman Abrahimovich

And please see what sumone said on the KARMA thread and tell me you agree wiv her grin grin
