I have never changed the screen or my redmi note 8 since I bought it in January of 2020, I don't even use a screen guard and guess what? The Gorilla glass 5 screen hasn't broken since 2020, that's at least three plus years. Though there's are some dead pixels on the top left side of my screen but that only happened within the last three months.

Lol , I had same issue with a clueless and myopic mentality landlady 1yr ago, I made sure she saw hell from me too.
