Tell me what advantage the average man from ss,sw n north receives from being politically sophisticated over the average Igbo man? Nigeria politics is one of barbarians,and being sophisticated only means being a barbarian. Tell me what good the sophisticated leaders n masses of other regions enjoy that could be compared with developed countries? Tell me: is it technology n science, jobs, healthcare, infrastructure, e.t.c?

They may have offended the lecturer in a way. I had same issue then; I failed a particular course from year two to final year. It was later I found out that I was accused of not buying the lecturer's textbook even though I did. It was our course rep who failed to write my name among those who paid for it. I kept scoring 15/100 every semester I sat for it.

Wow! I would have loved to nominate Abdul, my student back in Ekeinrande community, Ijumu LGA, Kogi state during my NYSC two years ago. Boy is so eager for education that lil boy has been the one training himself through by farming for others for a price. Boy hardly sees food to eat, lacks clothings n good care. Uncle doesn't care but does for his own children. Abdul's humility is so endearing that I had to do the little I could. At a point I thought of writing the state govt n NYSC for special support but lacked the connection. My only joy was seeing him become capable of reading and writing. Can't forget the heart broke and tears in his eyes when I was leaving.
