A Facebook user has taken to WhatsApp to expose a ritualist who uses human parts for rituals, after he sent him a friend request.

The alleged ritualist, who has set his account on private and can only be found on Facebook by those who are his friends or those he sends friend requests to, claims he can do all forms of money making ritualist.

The Facebook user who received a friend request from this baba was shaken to his core after he went through the witch doctor's Facebook account and saw a lot of fetish items, including caskets, money scattered about, animals and photos of rituals being performed.

Sharing the photos to WhatsApp, the web user wrote:

"Omo see me see wahala. Why would bablawo be sending me friend request?"

He added:

"Oh Lord, what is the world turning into? So herbalist now uses internet to influence people."

A policeman attached to Omu-Aran Police Division in Kwara, who was attacked by a suspected mad man, is dead, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports

The deceased, simply identified as Sgt. Abu, was said to be within the premises of the police station when he was attacked on Tuesday afternoon by the assailant.

The assailant, who was armed with a cutlass and other dangerous weapons, was said to be showing signs of insanity before the attack.

NAN reports that the assailant was said to be a scavenger.

The deceased was said to have been rushed to a private hospital in the town, but was later transfered to Ido Medical Centre in Ekiti State where he died on Wednesday.

The assailant, who hails from Aran-Orin, was said to have first approached the station with a shovel and a wooden stick, but was disarmed.

He was said to have later returned to the station where he attacked the deceased.

An eye witness told NAN that it took the combined efforts of some commercial motorcyclists and a police patrol team before the assailant, who took to his heels after the attack, could be apprehended at the Taiwo Area of the town.

“I was on my motorcycle when I saw the fleeing man holding a cutlass and a wood.

“He was wearing a red attire and we followed him. Later, some other motorcyclists joined in the chase and on getting to Taiwo Area, he stopped, dropped his weapons and raised up his hands.

“It was in the process that he was arrested by the police and moved to the station,” the eye witness, who preferred anonymity, said.

When contacted, Ajayi Okasanmi, the police spokesperson in the state, confirmed the incident.

Okasanmi said investigation into the case was being carried out in collaboration with the Divisional Police Officer in Omu-Aran.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University chapter, on Wednesday, resumed indefinite strike to press home its demands.

The union had embarked on a strike in 2018 but suspended it when the Taraba government promised to meet its demands which included the payment of earned academic allowances from 2014 till date, and the provision of required infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning.

Dr Samuel Shikaa, the branch Chairman, and Dr Atando Agbu, the Secretary, in a statement shortly after the Executive Council Meeting with the national officials in Jalingo, said that the teachers would remain at home until the demands were met.

The union said that the law establishing the university, which specified adequate funding for the institution, had been abandoned by the state government, NAN reports.

“Law no 4 of 2008 specified that five per cent of the state allocation, five per cent of the Local Government allocation and two per cent of all contracts will be used in funding the university, but all of these have been neglected.

“If you go round the university, you will discover that apart from the library and senate building which are still under construction, every other building you will see are constructed and furnished by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund.

“If you refer to this university as TET Fund University, you will not be wrong because the few infrastructures here are provided by the fund,” he said.

In a reaction, Mr Ande Boyi, President, National Association of Nigerian Students (NASS), Taraba State University chapter, appealed to Gov. Darius Ishaku of Taraba to meet the union’s demands to enable students continue with their studies.

“Now that the strike has been declared, the student body is appealing to Ishaku to immediately meet the demands of ASUU to ensure that students don’t stay at home for long,” he said.

He lamented that students had just resumed from the nationwide strike only to be confronted by another round of strike.

Rising Ghanaian rapper Mawuli Younggod has reportedly disappeared immediately a car he was driving got involved in an accident.

Mawuli Younggod, one of rapper Medikal’s protege, is said to have been in the company of friends when the accident happened in Accra on Sunday.

According to a Celebritiesbuzz.com report, an eyewitness said the accident occurred shortly after Mawuli and his crew - made up of his manager and a friend, had finished buying fuel from a filling station.

They were said to be over speeding and in an attempt to overtake a water tanker on the road, their car veered off the road and somersaulted twice.

The group was then taken to the Ridge Hospital for treatment, however, it was noted by the rescue team that Mawuli, who was driving the car himself, was nowhere to be found.

The rapper who was driving the car was said to have disappeared from the accident scene.

Slain football fan, Kolade Johnson's father has stated that the officer who killed his son on Sunday while he was watching a football match at a viewing centre in Lagos, insisted he must kill someone at the spot.

In an interview with Punch, the bereaved father of the deceased, Alhaji Remi Lukman, said after the operative made the statement, he shot in the air before pointing his gun at the crowd and fired 2 more shots.

Kolade Johnson then happened to be the victim of the police extra-judicial killing:

''My son was murdered here on Sunday March 31st at about 4.30pm by the Anti-cultism team of police officers. I don't want anybody framing things up.

What I really needed was two things. One was immediate, the other procedurally. The immediate one is police report which will enable the mortuary to collect the corpse. The second one which is procedurally is justice over the death of my son. I want those repsonsible to be fished out and be brought to book.

All these boys being killed are all youths, they all have potentials. These are the tomorrow of Nigeria. If you just decided willfully after making a statement that you are going to kill somebody here today and you actually killed somebody. That was the statement that came out from the mouth of the officer that fired the shot.

Thereafter he shot in the air and two stray bullets directed at the crowd, then we need a more organized police force.

We need a police force that will put the interest of the citizens at heart We need a police force that will dutifully handle their job. Amazon has been caught selling a gagged sex doll, which appears to be positioned in a rape posture.

The £61 doll, which some people claimed looked like a child, was removed from the site following a complaint that it was "nauseating" and being sold for "male sexual abuse".

Photos show the “adult toy” with its hands tied around its back and a gag over its mouth.The doll was described as being "flexible" and “safe and easy to clean”.

Buyers were advised not to “worry about twisting or tearing" the doll when using it.

The woman who made the complaint, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Amazon on social media they were selling “a sex doll of a child, tied at her ankles, wrists, chest and gagged.

"A child, depicted as helpless and terrified in a corner. Sold for male sexual (ab)use."She claimed:

A boat owner and its driver have been arrested after The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) spotted the driver carrying 12 pupils without life jacket on the Lagos Lagoon.

General Manager of NIWA, Lagos office, Muazu Sambo, said the owner of the boats and driver, Mr. Balogun Oriyomi and Solomon Gbenga respectively, will be handed over to the police, The Guardian reports.

According to the NIWA GM:

“ln the morning of last Thursday, the management of NIWA on a control inspection arrested a private passenger boat on the Lagos lagoon. The boat was conveying school children of the Government Secondary School who were all under 16 years old from Tarkwa Bay to Osborne for a school event.“The route is one of the busiest.

Most shockingly, none of the children wore a life jacket on that open boat. A standard approved life jacket is an essential requirement for water transportation and its use is mandatory, for it is the only tool that helps to ensure the survival of lives in the unfortunate event of a boat mishap.

“What is more, nobody can rule out the possibility of a mishap occurring on any trip at any given time due to several factors that may be beyond human control. NIWA places a very high premium on the safety of lives on water.

We had only recently toured all passenger jetties in Lagos on sensitization campaign on safety, with particular emphasis on the use of life jackets, among other requirements.

We view this incident as a gross travesty of this campaign, which consequences could have been the avoidable loss of precious young Nigerian lives.“Consequently, the operator and driver of the impounded boat would be charged to court under extant laws, so as to serve as a severe deterrence to other operators in the industry.

We have lost so many lives from boat mishaps that every necessary step must be taken to protect further loss of lives on our waterways.

“NIWA will not relent in its determination to monitor activities on the inland waterways with routine and control inspections. We will seek maximum lawful penalties for those who violate safety measures on the waterways.

“We wish to use this medium to solicit the support of all Nigerians and in particular, stakeholders in the water transportation sub-sector and the media to support the Authority in its campaign towards safety on our waterways.”

A widow's world has just been overturned as reports have it her landlady allegedly killed her husband with juju before fleeing.

The widow identified as Bose Oladele, who resides at 16 Adekoya Street in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, alleged that the landlady of their house and her daughters murdered her husband, Idowu Oladele, over the weekend.

The fleeing landlady, Fausat Ibrahim, was alleged to have hit the deceased with a charm on his chest, causing him to slump and died moments before being rushed to the hospital, Vanguard reports.

Late Oladele’s widow, Bose, who narrated in tears how her husband was allegedly killed, stated that trouble started after she and her late husband returned from a party at about 9 pm on Saturday.

She stated that they left the cooler which was used to take food to the party, at their door step, with the intention to wash them next day.

According to her:

”barely had we settled down than we heard bangs on the door. When my husband opened the door, he found our landlady and her two children, Awwal and Zainab.“The landlady asked why we put our property at our doorstep, that every part of the compound belongs to her.

While my husband tried to reply, her son, Awwal, hit him on his head.

As he turned to face Awwal, the landlady used a charm to hit my husband on his chest.  He (husband) started jerking and after some minutes, he
fell and died.”

Other tenants in the compound said the fleeing suspect had threatened severally to kill the deceased.

According to a tenant, who spoke on the condition of anonymity:

“She has been threatening to take his life on several occasions. In fact, just some days ago, the landlady told Idowu that she would kill him very soon, because he was daring her in that compound.”

Nigerian singer Mr Real has rebuffed the claims in some quarters he is a one-hit wonder after he has refused to convince his fans with another hit after his 2017 song Legbegbe.

In a chat with The Punch, he however stated that he has so much to offer the music industry and the most important thing is to remain relevant.

Gospel singer, Busola Oke, aka Eleyele, has revealed that she will deal with Lil Kesh over copyright infringement on her intellectual property.

Oke in her claims alleges that the rapper took a part of her song in and used it in his new song, Undertaker, which was released on February 29.

In a chat with The Punch, Eleyele fumed that she would make a scapegoat of Lil Kesh.

She said,

“His manager called me and told me they wanted to use my song and I told them I didn’t understand. I told them that they should discuss whatever they wanted with my lawyer. Later, my lawyer told me that they had called him and that he told them not to use the song.A week later, Lil Kesh’s song was released.

I think they had already used the song before they called us. We have been trying to reach him since then. My lawyer wrote to them stating that we were ready to go to court, but we couldn’t find his office address; so, we had to post the letter on social media.

Maybe he thinks I’m an illiterate that cannot do anything.”

Decrying the lack of respect artistes have for intellectual property, Eleyele said,

Dr. Tijjani Faruk the medical doctor accused of raping patient, has denied penetrating the patient, but confessed that they had sex.

The doctor while standing before an investigative panel set up by the ministry of Health to investigate the matter, made the contradictory statement.

In an audio recording of the panel sitting obtained by Daily Nigerian,the doctor was heard admitting to having sex with the patient but later said the sex was without penetration.

“To the best of my recollection, the only time she came to common room was that very Saturday, which she came with a small girl.

“I have something to say here. I want us to trash this issue. The truth of the matter we had sex with Zuwaira (not her real name). Yes, yes I am saying this,” Mr Faruk confessed.

But when the panel reminded him about the gravity of his confessions, he made U-turn, saying there was no penetration during the sex and it was not rape.

“I did not rape Zuwaira. I swear to Almighty Allah, know that I am saying this because we are all men here. Zuwaira came to me not once, twice or trice.”

Again, the panel again cut in to remind him that all his confessions were in record, and then Mr Faruk tried to change the narrative.

“The sex I had with her is not the type you penetrate, not that. I am sorry if the word sex is what penetration means… Not that. She just came and played with me. The truth is that we played to that extent.

“And when I noticed her antics, that was the day I started avoiding her. As I noted in my statement, I started avoiding her because of her advances towards me.

“The truth is that I never had sexual penetration into Zuwaira.”

Again, one of the panel members interjected, asking rhetorically: “so it was just romance”?

“Yes, it was just that. Let me just say romance,” Mr Faruk added.

But while testifying, Zuwaira, the alleged victim claimed the medical doctor actually had sex with her after he administered sedative injection on her.

“I swear to Almighty Allah I am saying the truth. If what I said on Dr Tijjani is not the truth, provide me with Holy Qur’an, let me take ablution and take oath with it.

“On the fateful day he raped me, Dr Tijjani called my husband and asked him to send me to him the next day at 10am for further medical examination.“When I met him in his office, he asked me to go and wait for him in the theatre.

“There was nobody in the theatre except two of us. He administered intravenous injection on me, saying it will make me lose sensation during the examination.“He then asked me to lie on a bed and UnCloth. I started losing consciousness as he prodded on my body. I could remember the swinging moments I felt before he asked me to dress up.

“As I managed to dress up, he then called a girl to lead me to common room as I complained about the dizziness.“There was another bed in the common room where I lay. After that I completely lost consciousness.

“At around 7pm, I woke up to see sperm all over me. He was just by the side.“When I asked him why he raped me, he apologized and warned me not to tell my husband as it could lead me to divorce.

“When I asked him what should I tell my husband if he raised issues over why I stayed long with him, Dr Tijjani said I shouldn’t bother as he would call my husband to explain to him.

“Dr Tijjani actually raped me and sought my forgiveness when I regained consciousness,” she told the panel.

A Chinese woman has given birth to twins from 2 different fathers, an indication she had been cheating on her husband.

The woman had a set of twin boys but one of the boys didn't look like the woman's husband. A DNA test showed that they had different DNA.

This increased the husband's suspicion and the woman was forced to admit that she cheated on her husband in a one-night stand.

The story was revealed after the couple, from south-eastern Xiamen city, had to register the birth of their twin sons at the local police station early last year. In order to complete the registration, they had to produce the results of a paternity test to prove that the babies were theirs.

The husband, identified only as Xiaolong, had wondered why one of his sons didn’t look like him. Upon receiving the DNA results, he was even more shocked at discovering that one of the boys did not have any biological relationship with him, according to a director at the Fujian Zhengtai Forensic Identification Centre.

According to the director, Mr Zhang, Xiaolong was furious after reading the DNA report and confronted his wife.

It is reported that the wife initially denied the affair, and accused her husband of falsifying the results. Upon being confronted by Xiaolong, the wife admitted she had slept with another man and that it was a one-night stand.

The father said he was happy to raise his own child, but not the one from someone else.

Twins being born with different fathers is an extremely rare occurrence, known as heteropaternal superfecundation. According to experts, the exact odds of the phenomenon are hard to calculate, but previous studies suggest the chance could be between one in 400 pairs and one in 13,000 pairs, according to The Guardian.

3 Burundi schoolgirls who were detained over accusation of scribbling on President Pierre Nkurunziza’s picture in textbooks which led to international outcry, has been released.

The three girls were the last still being held from a group of seven children arrested earlier February in Kirundo province, in Burundi’s northeast some 200 kilometers from the commercial capital Bujumbura.

All were accused of insulting Nkurunziza by defacing his image.A regional court in Kirundo had decided last Wednesday to proceed with a full trial against the three.

But Aimée Kanyana, the Minister for Justice, told state broadcaster RTNB that the girls had been given provisional release. Future cases would result in prosecutions, she said.

She added:

“We call on parents to strengthen the education of their children.

“We remind children that they have to respect authorities, that the age of criminal responsibility is 15.“Next time, justice will clamp down on such behaviours.”

The arrest of the schoolgirls resulted in an online campaign, with users using the social media hashtag #freeourgirls to post pictures of the President defaced with clown wigs, twirly mustaches, pointy ears and bloody fangs.

“With so many real crimes being committed in Burundi, it’s tragic that children are the ones being prosecuted for harmless scribbles,” Human Rights Watch Central Africa Director, Lewis Mudge, wrote.

“Members of the ruling party’s youth wing “have killed, arbitrarily arrested, abducted, beaten, raped, and intimidated real and perceived political opponents with impunity,” Mudge wrote last week.

“Authorities should focus on holding perpetrators of serious rights violations to account instead of jailing school children for doodles.”

Keke Napep launched in Liverpool: Cab-hailing service provider Ola has its services in Liverpool, United Kingdom after making an entry into the UK in 2018.

It launched its services in Cardiff last year and currently operates in Bristol, Bath & Exeter.

Its launch in Liverpool makes it the fifth city it is entering.

When Ola launched, local taxi drivers said there were concerns over licensing and safety, but the company seems to have come to stay as they continue to foray into other cities in the Northern part of England.

The firm was founded in 2011 and Ola's UK boss Ben Legg says his company will pay drivers more money than Uber and is "focussed" on passenger safety

Ola previously operated in two countries after adding Australia to its Indian operation earlier this year and the UK will be its third.

An African lady, while expressing herself and revealing the reason why her boyfriend broke up with her, has said he had sex with her friend and in retaliation, she did same to him.

Nigerians on social media, just as they always do, when there is the need to pour out their minds, have reacted to a replica of NYSC jungle boot made by shoe-making company Converse.

The exact replica of the NYSC jungle boot had been advertised by a Nike apparel store and it didn't take much time before Nigerians noticed the extreme similarity between the shoes and that of the National Youth Service Corps.

A Nigerian man on the platform had come across the advert and notified them that NYSC did it first by retweeting. And just like wildfire, his tweet immediately went viral and Nigerians began to troop into the thread.

A woman identified as Tochukwu Azota has been arrested by the Police after she attacked and stripped her husband’s Facebook friend naked in Amawbia, near Awka, Anambra State.

According to reports, the husband had invited one Ogochukwu whom he met on Facebook into  their matrimonial home.

The wife, upon getting hold of the information, came home unexpectedly and reportedly locked up the two lovers in the house before she went ahead to inform her friends who then joined her to assault the husband's Facebook friend.

A family source told The Punch that “the woman was stripped naked, beaten to a pulp and her nude video sent on the social media.”

“We tried to intervene but her assailants stopped everybody from coming in until they pushed the woman out of the gate naked.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed the story, said three persons had been arrested.

He said,

“One Okafor Ogochukwu of Osile village Ogidi reported at the Central Police Station, Awka that she was invited by her male Facebook friend, one Ifeanyi Azota, to his house at Ezimezi village in Amawbia.

A secondary school teacher in Lagos has been exposed for allegedly making a female student perform MouthAction on him, in order to gain promotion into a higher class.

According to an allegation made on social media by a man identified as Anisiobi Mezie, the teacher teaches at the Fazi-l-Omar School, Iwaya Lagos and he is already pestering the girl for sex after getting the initial request.

Mezie wrote:
I have a sexual abuse case of a 16year old I beg to look into. This 16year old girl just end her apprenticeship under a friend of mine... And wrote her a letter in tears.
School name: Fazi-l-omar Location : iwaya area.

She got into a new sch, and her maths teacher took advantage of the fact she's not sound in the subject and threatened to fail her if she doesn't comply.Because of her non compliance, she repeated a class.

Currently in ss1 instead of ss2. She told my friend how scared she is.. Even as her exams is coming up in few weeks time. After she was forced 2 perform MouthAction on him, he's demanding sex now..

Otherwise, he fails her AGAIN.

The Big Brother Naija Reunion show is getting hotter by the day, as reality TV star Cee-C mentioned that according to Google search, she is regarded as the most bitter woman in Nigeria.

Cee-C said this while in a heated argument with the other female ex-contestants of the show, where she made them understand that she is the most trolled among them all.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has suspended his Trader Moni tour to markets nationwide to promote the scheme. He has not toured any state to promote Trader Moni in the last one month.

However, checks showed that the programme was still on, Daily Independent reports.

Trader Moni is an initiative of the Federal Government, through Bank of Industry and Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme.

The programme is part of the Federal Government social intervention aimed at funding micro business in the country through soft loans beginning from N10, 000.

The programme was launched in August while the Vice-President began his tour in Osun State on September 3, 2018, barely three weeks to the Osun State governorship election.

At the first tour, Osinbajo was accompanied to Iwo Market by the Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola; Dep. Governor of Osun State, Mrs Titilayo Laoye-Tomori; Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi; and other government officials.

Paul Pogba honored France's World Cup team for their win in Russia by designing a championship rings for the squad.

Pogba and others revealed the rings, which were modeled after the hardware given to NBA and NFL championship teams, on social media on Wednesday.

Antonine Griezmann also helped Pogba with the ring design, which features the French national team logo and the words "World Champions."

The rings also have an impressive three carats of white diamonds, rubies and sapphires.

"We handed them out to the players, the reaction was good, they thanked me. It's a small gesture after winning a World Cup with great players. I consider them my family. It's a small gift from me." Pogba told a press conference at France's training centre.

Pogba said he had already made a similar gesture when he left Juventus, where he won four straight Serie A titles, for Manchester United."I made a small gift to the players when I left. A kidnapper has been nabbed by an angry mob after he allegedly abducted a girl and threw her off a bridge in Abuja.

The young schoolgirl could have lost her life, but for the timely intervention of passers by who spotted the suspect while flinging her off the bridge near Kado, Abuja.

It was assumed that the suspect was trying to transfer the girl to his accomplice under the bridge because there was no river underneath. He was immediately nabbed while the girl was rescued.

The suspect, according to reports, later confessed that he was sent to bring a human being for sacrifice. He has since been handed over the police.

Four people have been rescued from the collapsed building in Oke Arin, Lagos Island, Lagos.

The building located at No 57, Egerton Square, Oke Arin, reportedly collapsed some few hours ago and rescue operations have begun immediately on the site.

According to report, the build collapsed during the demolition of another building by officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency.

The four people were rescued by the firefighters at the scene and they have been taken to the hospital for medical treatments

The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasaki Musbau said:

“Our men at the site of the collapsed building reported that it was a partial collapse. And they have been able to evacuate four person alive from the rubble. The victims have also been taken to the hospital for treatment"

Ekiti State Government on Monday has announced new measures aimed at curbing sexual violence and part of the punishments that will be meted out to sex offenders in Ekiti, is that their photos will be posted on various media across the state.

The State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Wale Fapounda at a press conference to announce the new measures disclosed that persons currently standing trial for offence of child defilement and those whom the Director of Public Prosecution had issued a ‘case to answer’ legal advice for the same offence will henceforth undergo compulsory psychiatry test.

Other measures according to the Commissioner include pasting of photographs of convicted sex offenders in prominent public spaces in their local government headquarters, uploading the sex offenders photograph on the website of the Ministry of Justice.

Such sex offenders would also have their photographs shown on the state-owned Television station and their names announced on state radio, in an apparent move to name and shame them.

The Oke Arin building collapse on Lagos Island some few hours ago was said to have occurred while officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency were demolishing another house beside the building.

Rasaki Musbau, the Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, confirmed the incident and said firefighters have been deployed in the area, The Punch reports.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said the police had yet to be informed.

“But I am aware that Lagos State is demolishing some houses,” he added.

The Head of Public Affairs Unit, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Mr Kehinde Adebayo, said the agency had received multiple calls from the area informing them of the situation.

He, however, said no details had emerged yet, as the agency’s officials were on their way to the area.
